⁴ in whom the god of this world blinded the understandings of the unbelieving, that they should not discern the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

⁸ Again the Devil takes him into an exceedingly high mountain, and shows him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; ⁹ and says to him: All these things I will give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

¹⁴ And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us; and we beheld his glory, a glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

¹⁸ No one has ever seen God; the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he declared him.

¹² Again therefore Jesus spoke to them, saying: I am the light of the world; he that follows me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life.

³⁵ Jesus therefore said to them: Yet a little while is the light among you. Walk while ye have the light, that darkness may not overtake you; and he that walks in the darkness knows not whither he goes.

⁴⁰ He has blinded their eyes, And has hardened their heart; That they should not see with their eyes, And understand with their heart, And turn, and I should heal them.

⁴⁵ And he that beholds me beholds him who sent me.

⁹ Jesus says to him: Am I so long time with you, and dost thou not know me, Philip? He that has seen me has seen the Father; and how sayest thou: Show us the Father? ¹⁰ Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak to you I speak not of myself; but the Father who dwells in me, he does the works.

³⁰ I will no longer talk much with you; for the prince of the world comes, and in me he has nothing.

²⁴ If I had not done among them the works which no other one has done, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated both me and my Father.

¹¹ of judgment, in that the prince of this world has been judged.

¹⁸ to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may obtain forgiveness of sins, and an inheritance among the sanctified, by faith in me.

²⁰ Nay; but that what they sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to God; and I would not that ye should be partakers of the demons.

⁸ how shall not the ministration of the spirit be more glorious? ⁹ For if the ministration of condemnation is glory, much more does the ministration of righteousness abound in glory.

¹¹ For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which abides is glorious.

¹⁴ But their understandings were hardened; for until this day the same vail on the reading of the old covenant remains, not being taken away; which vail is done away in Christ.

¹⁸ But we all, with unvailed face beholding in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, as by the Spirit of the Lord.

⁶ Because it is God, who commands light to shine out of darkness; who shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

² in which ye once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience;

¹² For to us, the contest is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenly places.

⁶ who, being in the form of God, did not account it robbery to be equal with God;

¹⁵ who is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of every creature,

²⁷ to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory;

¹¹ according to the glorious gospel of the blissful God, with which I was entrusted.

¹³ looking for the blissful hope and appearing of the glory of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ;

³ who, being the brightness of his glory and the impress of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself made a cleansing of sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

¹⁹ And we have more sure the prophetic word; to which ye do well that ye take heed, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day-star arise in your hearts;

⁸ Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in him and in you; because the darkness is passing away, and the true light now shines.

¹⁹ We know that we are of God, and the whole world is lying in the evil one.

² And he laid hold of the dragon, the old serpent, which is the Devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, ³ and cast him into the abyss, and shut it, and set a seal over him, that he mislead the nations no more, until the thousand years are finished; after these he must be loosed a little time.
