¹³ And Pilate, having called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,

²¹ And the governor answering said to them: Which of the two will ye that I release to you? And they said: Barabbas. ²² Pilate says to them: What then shall I do with Jesus, who is called Christ? They all say to him: Let him be crucified. ²³ And the governor said: What evil then did he? But they cried the more, saying: Let him be crucified.

¹⁴ And Pilate said to them: What evil then has he done? And they cried the more exceedingly: Crucify him.

³⁸ Pilate says to him: What is truth? And having said this, he went out again to the Jews, and says to them: I find no fault in him.

⁴ Pilate went forth again, and says to them: Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him.
