⁷ and cried with a loud voice, and said: What have I to do with thee, Jesus, Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, do not torment me.

³ And coming to him, the tempter said: If thou art the Son of God, command that these stones become loaves of bread.

²⁹ And, behold, they cried out, saying: What have we to do with thee, Son of God? Camest thou hither to torment us before the time?

¹⁶ And Simon Peter answering said: Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

⁶³ But Jesus was silent. And the high priest answering said to him: I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou art the Christ, the Son of God.

²⁴ saying: What have we to do with thee, Jesus, Nazarene! Didst thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.

¹¹ And the unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying: Thou art the Son of God.

⁶¹ But he was silent, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said to him: Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?

³² He shall be great, and shall be called Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give to him the throne of David his father;

³⁴ saying: Ah! what have we to do with thee, Jesus of Nazareth? Didst thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.

³⁵ But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be sons of the Highest; for he is kind to the unthankful and evil.

²⁸ And seeing Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said: What have I to do with thee, Jesus, Son of the most high God? I beseech thee, do not torment me.

³¹ But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing ye may have life in his name.

³⁶ And as they went along the way, they came to a certain water. And the eunuch said: See, here is water; what hinders that I should be immersed?

¹⁷ She, having followed Paul and us, cried, saying: These men are the servants of the most high God, who announce to us the way of salvation.

¹³ Then some of the wandering Jewish exorcists took upon them to name, over those who had the evil spirits, the name of the Lord Jesus, saying: I adjure you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.

⁶ And angels who kept not their principality, but left their own habitation, he has kept in everlasting chains under darkness, unto the judgment of the great day.

¹² For this cause rejoice, ye heavens, and they who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea! For the Devil is come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has little time.

¹ AND I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain in his hand. ² And he laid hold of the dragon, the old serpent, which is the Devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, ³ and cast him into the abyss, and shut it, and set a seal over him, that he mislead the nations no more, until the thousand years are finished; after these he must be loosed a little time.
