⁶ And thou Bethlehem, land of Judah, Art by no means least among the princes of Judah; For out of thee shall come forth a Governor, Who shall rule my people Israel.

¹ And Jesus having been born in Bethlehem of Judaea, in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

¹⁸ And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying: All power was given to me in heaven and on earth.

⁴² Did not the Scripture say, that the Christ comes of the seed of David, and from the town of Bethlehem, where David was?

¹⁶ He says to him again a second time: Simon, son of Jonah, lovest thou me? He says to him: Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He says to him: Tend my sheep.

²² and subjected all things under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things to the church,

²⁷ and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of a potter are they dashed in pieces, as I also have received from my Father;

¹⁵ And the seventh angel sounded; and there followed loud voices in heaven, saying: The kingdom of the world is become our Lord's, and his Christ's; and he will reign forever and ever.
