⁴ And Ahab came into his house heavy and displeased because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him, for he had said, I will not give thee the inheritance of my fathers. And he laid himself down upon his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread.

⁵ but he did not have respect to Cain and to his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell. ⁶ And LORD said to Cain, Why are thou angry? And why has thy countenance fallen? ⁷ If thou do well, shall thou not be accepted? And if thou do not well, sin crouches at the door.
