²⁷ And Abraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them to Abimelech. And the two made a covenant.

²² And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lifted up my hand to LORD, God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth, ²³ that I will not take a thread nor a shoe latchet nor anything that is thine, lest thou should say, I have made Abram rich,

²⁸ And they said, We saw plainly that LORD was with thee. And we said, Let there now be an oath between us, even between us and thee. And let us make a covenant with thee, ²⁹ that thou will do us no hurt, as we have not touched thee, and as we have done to thee nothing but good, and have sent thee away in peace.
