¹⁵ And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brothers, even the whole seed of Ephraim.

¹⁸ Therefore LORD was very angry with Israel, and removed them out of his sight. There was none left but only the tribe of Judah. ¹⁹ Also Judah did not keep the commandments of LORD their God, but walked in the statutes of Israel which they made. ²⁰ And LORD rejected all the seed of Israel, and afflicted them, and delivered them into the hand of spoilers, until he had cast them out of his sight.

²³ until LORD removed Israel out of his sight, as he spoke by all his servants the prophets. So Israel was carried away out of their own land to Assyria to this day.

²⁰ For it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah through the anger of LORD, until he had cast them out from his presence. And Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

⁹ And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those who sojourned with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon, for they came to him out of Israel in abundance when they saw that LORD his God was with him.

⁶⁷ Moreover he refused the tent of Joseph, and chose not the tribe of Ephraim, ⁶⁸ but chose the tribe of Judah, the mount Zion which he loved.

⁸ And I saw, when, for this very cause that backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a bill of divorcement, yet treacherous Judah her sister feared not, but she also went and played the harlot.

¹ Then LORD said to me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind would not be toward this people. Cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.

³⁹ therefore, behold, I will utterly forget you. And I will cast you off, and the city that I gave to you and to your fathers, away from my presence.

³ For it came to pass through the anger of LORD, in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence. And Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

⁴ And LORD said to him, Call his name Jezreel, for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause the kingdom of the house of Israel to cease.

³ They shall not dwell in LORD's land, but Ephraim shall return to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean food in Assyria.

⁹ They have deeply corrupted themselves, as in the days of Gibeah. He will remember their iniquity. He will visit their sins.

¹⁶ Ephraim is smitten. Their root is dried up. They shall bear no fruit. Yea, though they bring forth, yet I will kill the beloved fruit of their womb. ¹⁷ My God will cast them away because they did not hearken to him, and they shall be wanderers among the nations.

¹ Ephraim feeds on wind, and follows after the east wind. He continually multiplies lies and desolation. And they make a covenant with Assyria, and oil is carried into Egypt.

¹⁶ Samaria shall bear her guilt, for she has rebelled against her God. They shall fall by the sword. Their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.
