¹³ Then Micah said, Now I know that LORD will do me good, seeing I have a Levite for my priest.

¹² There is a way which seems right to a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

²⁰ He feeds on ashes. A deceived heart has turned him aside. And he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

³ He who slaughters an ox is as he who kills a man. He who sacrifices a lamb, as he who breaks a dog's neck. He who offers an oblation, as swine's blood. He who burns frankincense, as he who blesses an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations. ⁴ I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them. Because when I called, none answered. When I spoke, they did not hear. But they did that which was evil in my eyes, and chose that in which I did not delight.

⁹ And in vain they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.

¹³ But having answered, he said, Every plant that my heavenly Father did not plant, will be uprooted.

² They will make you excommunicated from the synagogues. But the hour comes that every man who kills you will presume to be offering service to God.

⁹ Indeed therefore I thought it necessary for myself to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus the Nazarene,

² For I testify to them that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. ³ For not understanding the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to the righteousness of God.
