¹² And both Pilate and Herod became friends with each other on the same day, for they were formerly being at enmity toward themselves.

⁴ They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. ⁵ For they have consulted together with one consent. They make a covenant against thee: ⁶ the tents of Edom, and the Ishmaelites, Moab, and the Hagarenes,

¹ And the Pharisees and Sadducees who came, testing, demanded him to exhibit to them a sign from the sky.

²⁷ For in truth, against thy holy Boy Jesus, whom thou anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, were gathered together,

¹³ These have one mind, and they give their power and authority to the beast. ¹⁴ These will war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, because he is Lord of lords and King of kings. And those with him are the called and chosen and faithful.
