¹ Praise ye LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary. Praise him in the firmament of his power. ² Praise him for his mighty acts. Praise him according to his excellent greatness. ³ Praise him with trumpet sound. Praise him with psaltery and harp. ⁴ Praise him with timbrel and dance. Praise him with stringed instruments and pipe. ⁵ Praise him with loud cymbals. Praise him with high sounding cymbals. ⁶ Let everything that has breath praise LORD. Praise ye LORD.

⁶ And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. ⁷ And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament. And it was so. ⁸ And God called the firmament Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day.

¹ The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament shows his handiwork.

⁹ The voice of LORD makes the hinds to calve, and strips the forests bare. And in his temple everything says, Glory.

¹³ I will come into thy house with burnt offerings. I will pay thee my vows, ¹⁴ which my lips uttered, and my mouth spoke, when I was in distress. ¹⁵ I will offer to thee burnt offerings of fatlings, with the incense of rams. I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah. ¹⁶ Come, and hear, all ye who fear God, and I will declare what he has done for my soul.

¹⁹ For he has looked down from the height of his sanctuary. From heaven LORD beheld the earth,

¹⁸ I will pay my vows to LORD, yea, in the presence of all his people, ¹⁹ in the courts of LORD's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye LORD.

¹⁹ Open to me the gates of righteousness. I will enter into them. I will give thanks to LORD. ²⁰ This is the gate of LORD. The righteous shall enter into it.

² Lift up your hands to the sanctuary, and bless ye LORD.

¹ Praise ye LORD. Sing to LORD a new song, and his praise in the assembly of the sanctified.

²² And over the head of the living creature there was the likeness of a firmament, like awesome crystal to look upon, stretched forth over their heads above. ²³ And under the firmament their wings were straight, the one toward the other. Each one had two which covered their bodies on this side, and each one had two which covered on that side. ²⁴ And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings like the noise of great waters, like the voice of the Almighty, a noise of tumult like the noise of a host. When they stood, they let down their wings. ²⁵ And there was a voice above the firmament that was over their heads. When they stood, they let down their wings. ²⁶ And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone. And upon the likeness of the throne was a likeness as the appearance of a man upon it above.

¹ Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was over the head of the cherubim there appeared above them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.

³ And those who are wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.

²⁴ O lord LORD, thou have begun to show thy servant thy greatness, and thy strong hand, for what god is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy mighty acts?

⁴ For great is LORD, and greatly to be praised. He is to be feared above all gods.

³ Great is LORD, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.

⁵ I will meditate on the glorious majesty of thine honor, and of thy wondrous works. ⁶ And men shall speak of the might of thy fearful acts, and I will declare thy greatness.

¹² to make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glory of the majesty of his kingdom.

¹⁷ Ah lord LORD! Behold, thou have made the heavens and the earth by thy great power and by thine outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for thee, ¹⁸ who show loving kindness to thousands, and recompense the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their sons after them, the great, the mighty God. LORD of hosts is his name, ¹⁹ great in counsel, and mighty in work, whose eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men, to give everyone according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings,

³ And they sing the song of Moses the bondman of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty, righteous and true are thy ways, thou King of the nations. ⁴ Who will, no, not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name, because thou alone are holy? Because all the nations will come and worship before thee, because thy righteous deeds were made known.

¹⁰ Also in the day of your gladness, and in your set feasts, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings. And they shall be to you for a memorial before your God: I am LORD your God.

²⁴ And Shebaniah, and Joshaphat, and Nethanel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, blew the trumpets before the ark of God. And Obed-edom and Jehiah were porters for the ark.

²⁸ Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of LORD with shouting, and with sound of the cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, sounding aloud with psalteries and harps.

⁴² And with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those who should sound aloud, and with instruments for the songs of God, and the sons of Jeduthun to be at the gate.

² Give thanks to LORD with the harp. Sing praises to him with the psaltery of ten strings.

² Raise a song, and bring here the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery. ³ Blow the trumpet at the new moon, at the full moon, on our feast-day.

³ with an instrument of ten strings, and with the psaltery, with a solemn sound upon the harp.

⁵ Sing praises to LORD with the harp. With the harp and the voice of melody, ⁶ with trumpets and sound of cornet, make a joyful noise before the King-LORD.

² Awake, psaltery and harp. I myself will awake right early.

³ Let them praise his name in the dance. Let them sing praises to him with timbrel and harp.

⁵ that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of music, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king has set up.

²⁰ And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand, and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.

¹² They sing to the timbrel and harp, and rejoice at the sound of the pipe.

³¹ Therefore my harp has turned to mourning, and my pipe into the voice of those who weep.

⁸ All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia. Out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made thee glad.

⁹ I will sing a new song to thee, O God. Upon a psaltery of ten strings I will sing praises to thee.

²⁰ LORD is ready to save me. Therefore we will sing my songs with stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of LORD.

¹⁹ LORD, the Lord, is my strength. And he makes my feet like hinds' feet, and will make me to walk upon my high places.

⁵ And David and all the house of Israel played before LORD with all manner of instruments of fir-wood, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with castanets, and with cymbals.

⁸ And David and all Israel played before God with all their might, even with songs, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets.

¹⁶ And David spoke to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brothers the singers, with instruments of music, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding aloud and lifting up the voice with joy.

¹⁹ So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed with cymbals of brass to sound aloud.

⁵ Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, with psalteries and with harps, and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud,

¹ Moreover David and the captains of the army set apart for the service certain of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals. And the number of those who did the work according to their service was:

⁶ All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of LORD, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God; Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman being under the order of the king.

²² Bless LORD, all ye his works in all places of his dominion. Bless LORD, O my soul.

¹⁰ All thy works shall give thanks to thee, O LORD, and thy sanctified shall bless thee.

²¹ My mouth shall speak the praise of LORD. And let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever.

⁷ Praise LORD from the earth, ye sea-monsters, and all deeps, ⁸ fire and hail, snow and vapor, stormy wind, fulfilling his word, ⁹ mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars, ¹⁰ beasts and all cattle, creeping things and flying birds, ¹¹ kings of the earth and all peoples, rulers and all judges of the earth,

¹³ And every creature that is in the heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and is in the sea, and things in them all, I heard saying, The blessing, and the honor, and the glory, and the dominion is to him who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb, into the ages of the ages. Truly!
