¹⁹ And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:

²² And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up my hand to the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,

⁴ And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless you before I die.

²⁵ And he said, Bring it near to me, and I will eat of my son's venison, that my soul may bless you. And he brought it near to him, and he did eat: and he brought him wine and he drank. ²⁶ And his father Isaac said to him, Come near now, and kiss me, my son. ²⁷ And he came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the LORD has blessed: ²⁸ Therefore God give you of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine: ²⁹ Let people serve you, and nations bow down to you: be lord over your brothers, and let your mother's sons bow down to you: cursed be every one that curses you, and blessed be he that blesses you.

⁷ And Joseph brought in Jacob his father, and set him before Pharaoh: and Jacob blessed Pharaoh.

²⁸ All these are the twelve tribes of Israel: and this is it that their father spoke to them, and blessed them; every one according to his blessing he blessed them.

²³ Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, On this wise you shall bless the children of Israel, saying to them, ²⁴ The LORD bless you, and keep you: ²⁵ The LORD make his face shine on you, and be gracious to you: ²⁶ The LORD lift up his countenance on you, and give you peace. ²⁷ And they shall put my name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.

¹⁰ And he said, Blessed be you of the LORD, my daughter: for you have showed more kindness in the latter end than at the beginning, inasmuch as you followed not young men, whether poor or rich.

⁵ And David sent messengers to the men of Jabeshgilead, and said to them, Blessed be you of the LORD, that you have showed this kindness to your lord, even to Saul, and have buried him.

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

⁶ To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he has made us accepted in the beloved.

⁶ But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises. ⁷ And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.
