¹⁵ And the LORD said to him, Therefore whoever slays Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark on Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

²⁴ If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.

¹⁸ And if you will not yet for all this listen to me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

¹¹ And the smoke of their torment ascends up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.
