¹⁶ And I have put my words in your mouth, and I have covered you in the shadow of my hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say to Zion, You are my people.

²² And it shall come to pass, while my glory passes by, that I will put you in a cleft of the rock, and will cover you with my hand while I pass by:

¹⁸ I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brothers, like to you, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him.

²⁷ The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before you; and shall say, Destroy them.

³ The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.

¹³ Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

¹⁸ For thus said the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he has established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

¹³ My hand also has laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand has spanned the heavens: when I call to them, they stand up together.

⁸ Thus said the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard you, and in a day of salvation have I helped you: and I will preserve you, and give you for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;

⁴ The Lord GOD has given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakens morning by morning, he wakens my ear to hear as the learned.

²¹ As for me, this is my covenant with them, said the LORD; My spirit that is on you, and my words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your seed, nor out of the mouth of your seed's seed, said the LORD, from now on and for ever.

¹⁴ The sons also of them that afflicted you shall come bending to you; and all they that despised you shall bow themselves down at the soles of your feet; and they shall call you; The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel. ¹⁵ Whereas you have been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through you, I will make you an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.

²¹ Your people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

³ To appoint to them that mourn in Zion, to give to them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

¹⁷ For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

²² For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, said the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

³³ But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, said the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

³⁸ And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:

⁸ And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the middle of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.

⁹ And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

³⁴ For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God: for God gives not the Spirit by measure to him.

³⁸ I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and you do that which you have seen with your father. ³⁹ They answered and said to him, Abraham is our father. ¹³ Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwells righteousness.
