⁵ Look to the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds which are higher than you.

⁵ And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if you be able to number them: and he said to him, So shall your seed be.

²⁷ But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain you; how much less this house that I have built?

¹² Is not God in the height of heaven? and behold the height of the stars, how high they are!

⁵ Behold even to the moon, and it shines not; yes, the stars are not pure in his sight. ⁶ How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?

²⁶ Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.

¹⁶ Do you know the balancing of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?

²² Fair weather comes out of the north: with God is terrible majesty. ²³ Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.

³ When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained; ⁴ What is man, that you are mindful of him? and the son of man, that you visit him?

²² It is he that sits on the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretches out the heavens as a curtain, and spreads them out as a tent to dwell in: ²³ That brings the princes to nothing; he makes the judges of the earth as vanity.

⁹ For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

³ The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
