² Saying to them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway you shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them to me.

¹⁸ And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say to him, The Master said, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at your house with my disciples.

² And said to them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as you be entered into it, you shall find a colt tied, where on never man sat; loose him, and bring him. ³ And if any man say to you, Why do you this? say you that the Lord has need of him; and straightway he will send him here.

¹³ And he sends forth two of his disciples, and said to them, Go you into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him. ¹⁴ And wherever he shall go in, say you to the manager of the house, The Master said, Where is the guest room, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples? ¹⁵ And he will show you a large upper room furnished and prepared: there make ready for us. ¹⁶ And his disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had said to them: and they made ready the passover.

³⁰ Saying, Go you into the village over against you; in the which at your entering you shall find a colt tied, where on yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him here. ³¹ And if any man ask you, Why do you loose him? thus shall you say to him, Because the Lord has need of him. ³² And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said to them.

⁵ His mother said to the servants, Whatever he said to you, do it. ⁶ And there were set there six water pots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. ⁷ Jesus said to them, Fill the water pots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. ⁸ And he said to them, Draw out now, and bear to the governor of the feast. And they bore it.
