⁴ Then the king said to me, For what do you make request? So I prayed to the God of heaven.

¹¹ O LORD, I beseech you, let now your ear be attentive to the prayer of your servant, and to the prayer of your servants, who desire to fear your name: and prosper, I pray you, your servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king's cupbearer.

³ Then said the king to her, What will you, queen Esther? and what is your request? it shall be even given you to the half of the kingdom.

⁶ And the king said to Esther at the banquet of wine, What is your petition? and it shall be granted you: and what is your request? even to the half of the kingdom it shall be performed.

² And the king said again to Esther on the second day at the banquet of wine, What is your petition, queen Esther? and it shall be granted you: and what is your request? and it shall be performed, even to the half of the kingdom.

⁶ In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.

⁵¹ And Jesus answered and said to him, What will you that I should do to you? The blind man said to him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.

⁶ Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
