⁵ Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.

¹ In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. ² And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved on the face of the waters.

⁶ And God said, Let there be a firmament in the middle of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

⁶ By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. ⁷ He gathers the waters of the sea together as an heap: he lays up the depth in storehouses. ⁸ Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. ⁹ For he spoke, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

⁵ The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

¹¹ Thus shall you say to them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens. ¹² He has made the earth by his power, he has established the world by his wisdom, and has stretched out the heavens by his discretion. ¹³ When he utters his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; he makes lightning with rain, and brings forth the wind out of his treasures.

⁶ It is he that builds his stories in the heaven, and has founded his troop in the earth; he that calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out on the face of the earth: The LORD is his name.

¹¹ You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for you have created all things, and for your pleasure they are and were created.
