¹² Therefore shall you make them turn their back, when you shall make ready your arrows on your strings against the face of them.

²⁰ I have sinned; what shall I do to you, O you preserver of men? why have you set me as a mark against you, so that I am a burden to myself?

¹² I was at ease, but he has broken me asunder: he has also taken me by my neck, and shaken me to pieces, and set me up for his mark. ¹³ His archers compass me round about, he splits my reins asunder, and does not spare; he pours out my gall on the ground.

¹² If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he has bent his bow, and made it ready. ¹³ He has also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordains his arrows against the persecutors.

³ When my enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at your presence.
