⁸ Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness because of my enemies; make your way straight before my face.

⁷ The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

³ For you are my rock and my fortress; therefore for your name's sake lead me, and guide me.

³ O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

¹⁰ Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

¹² Restore to me the joy of your salvation; and uphold me with your free spirit.

⁹ Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of your name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for your name's sake.

⁴ Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause your anger toward us to cease. ⁵ Will you be angry with us for ever? will you draw out your anger to all generations? ⁶ Will you not revive us again: that your people may rejoice in you? ⁷ Show us your mercy, O LORD, and grant us your salvation.

¹³ Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.

¹⁷⁶ I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant; for I do not forget your commandments.

⁸ Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning; for in you do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul to you. ⁹ Deliver me, O LORD, from my enemies: I flee to you to hide me. ¹⁰ Teach me to do your will; for you are my God: your spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

¹¹ I have taught you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in right paths.

²⁰ I lead in the way of righteousness, in the middle of the paths of judgment:

¹⁶ And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do to them, and not forsake them.

⁸ Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travails with child together: a great company shall return thither.

³⁷ Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, where I have driven them in my anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again to this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely: ³⁸ And they shall be my people, and I will be their God: ³⁹ And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them: ⁴⁰ And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me. ⁴¹ Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul. ⁴² For thus said the LORD; Like as I have brought all this great evil on this people, so will I bring on them all the good that I have promised them.

¹⁴ But I worked for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, in whose sight I brought them out.

⁴ I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for my anger is turned away from him. ⁵ I will be as the dew to Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon. ⁶ His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon. ⁷ They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon. ⁸ Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is your fruit found. ⁹ Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.

⁸ Rejoice not against me, O my enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light to me. ⁹ I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.

¹⁸ Who is a God like to you, that pardons iniquity, and passes by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retains not his anger for ever, because he delights in mercy. ¹⁹ He will turn again, he will have compassion on us; he will subdue our iniquities; and you will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

³¹ And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: ³² But I have prayed for you, that your faith fail not: and when you are converted, strengthen your brothers.

⁶ To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he has made us accepted in the beloved.

¹⁹ As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
