⁸ Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers:

² The LORD has made known his salvation: his righteousness has he openly showed in the sight of the heathen. ³ He has remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

¹⁵ Why glorify you the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea. ¹⁶ From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe to me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yes, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.

²⁰ You will perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which you have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.

²⁴ But he answered and said, I am not sent but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

²⁸ Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered to, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

⁵⁴ He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy; ⁵⁵ As he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever. ⁵⁶ And Mary stayed with her about three months, and returned to her own house.

⁷⁰ As he spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: ⁷¹ That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us; ⁷² To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant; ⁷³ The oath which he swore to our father Abraham,

¹⁶ And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

²⁵ You are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, And in your seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed. ²⁶ To you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

⁴⁶ Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing you put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, see, we turn to the Gentiles.

³ For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

²⁶ To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believes in Jesus.

¹⁶ Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

⁴ Who are Israelites; to whom pertains the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; ⁵ Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

²³ And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had before prepared to glory, ²⁴ Even us, whom he has called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

²² Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in his goodness: otherwise you also shall be cut off.

³⁰ For as you in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:

¹⁶ That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

¹² Now this I say, that every one of you said, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.

¹⁹ What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?

²⁹ Conscience, I say, not your own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another man's conscience?

⁵⁰ Now this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.

²⁰ For all the promises of God in him are yes, and in him Amen, to the glory of God by us.

⁴ But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, ⁵ To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

¹² That at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

⁹ But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light; ¹⁰ Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
