¹⁷ And he that curseth his father or his mother, shall surely be put to death.

⁹ For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall surely be put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.
¹⁰ And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbor's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

¹⁶ Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.

²⁰ Whoso curseth his father or his mother,
His lamp shall be put out in blackness of darkness.

¹¹ There is a generation that curse their father,
And bless not their mother.

¹⁷ The eye that mocketh at his father,
And despiseth to obey his mother,
The ravens of the valley shall pick it out,
And the young eagles shall eat it.

³ And he answered and said unto them, { Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? ⁴ For God said, Honor thy father and thy mother: and, He that speaketh evil of father or mother, let him die the death. ⁵ But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, That wherewith thou mightest have been profited by me is given [to God]; ⁶ he shall not honor his father. And ye have made void the word of God because of your tradition.
