⁸ But Noah found favor in the eyes of Jehovah.

¹⁹ behold now, thy servant hath found favor in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy lovingkindness, which thou hast showed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest evil overtake me, and I die:

¹² And Moses said unto Jehovah, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found favor in my sight. ¹³ Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found favor in thy sight, show me now thy ways, that I may know thee, to the end that I may find favor in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people. ¹⁴ And he said, My presence shall go [with thee], and I will give thee rest. ¹⁵ And he said unto him, If thy presence go not [with me], carry us not up hence. ¹⁶ For wherein now shall it be known that I have found favor in thy sight, I and thy people? is it not in that thou goest with us, so that we are separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth?
¹⁷ And Jehovah said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken; for thou hast found favor in my sight, and I know thee by name.

¹¹ For Jehovah God is a sun and a shield:
Jehovah will give grace and glory;
No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

²⁰ Jehovah preserveth all them that love him;
But all the wicked will he destroy.

⁴ So shalt thou find favor and good understanding
In the sight of God and man.

³⁵ For whoso findeth me findeth life,
And shall obtain favor of Jehovah.

² A good man shall obtain favor of Jehovah;
But a man of wicked devices will he condemn.

² Thus saith Jehovah, The people that were left of the sword found favor in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.

³⁰ And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God.

⁴⁶ who found favor in the sight of God, and asked to find a habitation for the God of Jacob.

⁴ Now to him that worketh, the reward is not reckoned as of grace, but as of debt.

⁶ But if it is by grace, it is no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace.

¹⁰ But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not found vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

¹⁵ But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me, [even] from my mother's womb, and called me through his grace,

¹⁸ (the Lord grant unto him to find mercy of the Lord in that day); and in how many things he ministered at Ephesus, thou knowest very well.

¹¹ For the grace of God hath appeared, bringing salvation to all men,

⁷ that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

¹⁶ Let us therefore draw near with boldness unto the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace to help [us] in time of need.

⁵ and spared not the ancient world, but preserved Noah with seven others, a preacher of righteousness, when he brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly;
