⁵¹ Jesus said to him, “What do you want me to do for you?” And the blind man answered, “Rabboni [i.e., Teacher], I want to have my sight restored.”

⁸ So, do not be like them, for your Father [already] knows what things you need, [even] before you ask Him.

⁷ “Ask [God for something] and it will be given to you; look [to God for something] and you will find it; knock [on the door of opportunity] and it will be opened up to you.

⁷ They love the [special] greetings they receive at the open shopping markets and to be addressed as ‘Rabbi’ [Note: This word signified ‘great’ or ‘master’].

³⁶ And He said to them, “What do you want me to do for you?”

⁴¹ “What do you want me to do for you?” And he replied, “Lord, I want to receive my sight.” ⁴² And Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight, your faith has made you well.” ⁴³ And immediately his sight was restored and he followed Jesus, giving honor to God. And when all the people saw this, they [too] praised God.

¹⁶ [Then] Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned toward Him and replied in the Hebrew language, “Rabboni,” which means “Teacher.”

⁶ Do not worry about anything, but in everything, by prayer and [special] petition, along with thanksgivings, you should make your requests known to God.
