³ We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

⁸ First, I thank my God, through Jesus Christ, on account of you all, because your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world. ⁹ For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that, without ceasing, I make mention of you,

⁴ I thank my God always on your account, for the grace of God which is given to you in Christ Jesus;

¹⁵ For this reason I also, since I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and your love to all the saints,

¹⁴ For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, ¹⁵ from whom the whole family in heaven and on earth is named, ¹⁶ that he may grant to you, according to the riches of his glory, to be mightily strengthened by his Spirit in the inner man, ¹⁷ that Christ may dwell in your hearts through the faith; ¹⁸ that, being rooted and founded in love, you may be fully able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and depth and hight, ¹⁹ and to know the love of the Christ that passes our knowledge, that you may be filled with aft the fullness of God.

³ I thank my God on every remembrance of you ⁴ always in every supplication of mine for you all, making my supplication with joy ⁵ for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day till now:

⁹ I also pray for this, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all understanding, ¹⁰ in order that you may distinguish things that differ, to the end that you may be pure and blameless till the day of Christ, ¹¹ being filled with the fruit of righteousness, which fruit is by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

⁶ Be anxious about nothing, but in every thing, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God:

⁹ For this reason, we also, from the day in which we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to request that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,

¹³ who has delivered us from the authority of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of his beloved Son,

² We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers,

¹⁰ night and day praying exceedingly that we may see your face, and perfect that which is lacking in your faith? ¹¹ Now, may God himself, even our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way to you. ¹² And may the Lord cause you to increase and abound in love to one another and to all, even as we toward you, ¹³ in order that he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness, in the presence of our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

¹⁶ Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, who has loved us, and given us eternal consolation and good hope through grace, ¹⁷ comfort your hearts, and strengthen you in every good word and work.

³ I thank God, whom I serve with a pure conscience, after the custom of my forefathers, that, without ceasing, I have remembrance of you in my prayers night and day,
