³ But Satan entered into Judas surnamed Iscariot, who was of the number of the twelve.

¹⁰ Then Jesus said to him: Get behind me, Satan, for it is written: You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.

¹⁴ Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests, ¹⁵ and said: What are you willing to give me, and I will deliver him to you? And they weighed to him thirty pieces of silver. ¹⁶ And from that time he sought an opportunity to deliver him up.

²³ He answered and said: He that dips his hand with me in the dish, will deliver me up.

¹⁰ And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went away to the chief priests, that he might deliver him up to them. ¹¹ And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently deliver him up.

¹⁸ And while they were reclining at table, and were eating, Jesus said to them: Verily I say to you, One of you, he that eats with me, will deliver me up. ¹⁹ And they began to be sad, and to say to him, one by one, Is it I? and another said, Is it I? ²⁰ He answered and said to them: It is one of the twelve, he that dips with me into the dish.

²¹ But, behold, the hand of him that delivers me up is with me on the table.

⁷⁰ Jesus answered them: Have I not chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? ⁷¹ He spoke of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon; for he was about to deliver him up, being one of the twelve.

⁶ But he said this, not because he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the purse, and took what was put in it.

² And supper being over, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, to deliver him up,

¹⁸ I speak not of you all. I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me.

²⁶ Jesus answered: It is he to whom I shall give this morsel after I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the morsel, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. ²⁷ And after the morsel was given, then Satan entered into him. Then Jesus said to him: What you do, do quickly.

³ But Peter said: Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart, that you should at tempt to deceive the Holy Spirit, and keep back part of the price of the land?
