¹¹ And Jesus entered Jerusalem, and went into the temple; and when he had looked around on all things, the hour being now late, he went out to Bethany with the twelve.

¹⁰ And when he entered Jerusalem, all the city was moved, and said: Who is this? ¹¹ And the multitude said: This is Jesus the prophet, that is from Nazareth of Galilee. ¹² And Jesus went into the temple of God, and drove out all that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of those who sold doves, ¹³ and said to them: It is written, My house shall be called a house of prayer; but you have made it a den of robbers. ¹⁴ And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he cured them. ¹⁵ But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David, their anger was aroused, ¹⁶ and they said to him: Do you not hear what these say? And Jesus said to them: Yes; have you never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise? ¹⁷ And he left them, and went out of the city to Bethany, and there spent the night.

⁴¹ And when he came near, he looked upon the city, and wept over it, ⁴² saying: Hadst thou known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which were for thy peace! But now, they are hid from thy eyes. ⁴³ For the days will come upon thee, when thy enemies will throw up a mound about thee, and inclose thee around, and keep thee in on every side, ⁴⁴ and will destroy thee and thy children within thee, and will not leave in thee one stone upon another, because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation. ⁴⁵ And he went into the temple, and began to drive out those who were selling in it, and those who were buying,

³⁷ And in the day-time he was teaching in the temple. Bat he went out and passed the nights in the mount called the mount of Olives. ³⁸ And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, in order to hear him.

¹ But Jesus went to the mount of Olives. ² And in the morning he again entered the temple, and all the people came to him, and he sat down and taught them.
