²⁹ But I say to you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, till that day when I drink it with you new in the kingdom of my Father.

⁴³ Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun, in the kingdom of their Father. He that has ears to hear,- let him hear.

²⁸ Verily I say to you, There are some standing here that shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

²⁰ For where there are two or three that have come together for my sake, there I am in the midst of them.

³⁴ Then the King will say to those on his right hand: Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

³² Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

⁵ And when he finds it, he puts it on his shoulders, rejoicing. ⁶ And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, and says to them., Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.

²³ And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; ²⁴ for this my son was dead, and is alive again: he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. ²⁵ But his elder son was in the field; and as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing.

³² But it became us to make merry and rejoice; for this your brother was dead, and is alive again: was lost, and is found.

¹⁵ And he said to them: I have greatly desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer. ¹⁶ For I say to you, I will eat of it no more till it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God. ¹⁷ And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said: Take this, and divide it among yourselves; ¹⁸ for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine till the kingdom of God has come.

²⁹ and I appoint to you a kingdom, as my Father has appointed to me, ³⁰ that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

¹¹ These things have I spoken to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.

²² You, therefore, have sorrow now; but I shall see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one takes from you.

¹³ And now I come to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

⁴¹ not to all the people, but to witnesses who were be fore appointed by God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him, after he rose from the dead.

² looking to Jesus the author and finisher of the faith, who, for the joy that was set before him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.

⁸ And when he had taken the book, the four living creatures, and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, having, each of them, harps, and golden cups full of incense, which is the prayers of the saints. ⁹ And they sung a new song, saying: Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open its seals: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood, out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation: ¹⁰ and hast made us to our God kings and priests, and we shall reign on the earth.

¹⁷ For the Lamb that is in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and will lead them to living fountains of water: and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

³ And they sung a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures, and the elders: and no one was able to learn the song, but the hundred and forty-four thousand that had been redeemed from the earth.
