²¹ Not every one that says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

³² "Whoever, therefore, will confess me before men, him will I also confess before my Father who is in heaven. ³³ But whoever will deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in heaven.

⁵⁰ For whoever will do the will of my Father who is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

¹⁷ And Jesus answered and said to him: Blessed are you, Simon, son of Jonah; for flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

³ and said: Verily I say to you, Unless you turn and become as little children, you can not enter the kingdom of heaven.

¹⁰ Take heed that you despise not one of these little ones: for I say to you, That their angels in heaven do always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.

¹⁹ Again, I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about any thing for which they will ask, it shall be done for them by my Father who is in heaven.

³⁵ So also will my heavenly Father do to you, if, from your hearts, you forgive not every one his brother's offenses.

²⁴ And again I say to you: It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

²⁹ He answered and said, I will not. But he afterward regretted it, and went. ³⁰ And he came to the other, and spoke to him in like manner. And he answered and said, I go, sir; and went not. ³¹ Which of the two did the will of his father? They said to him, The first. Jesus said to them: Verily I say to you, The publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

¹¹ Afterward the other virgins also came, and said: Lord! Lord! open for us. ¹² But he answered and said: Verily I say to you, I know you not.

²¹ His lord said to him: Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many. Enter into the joy of your lord.

³⁹ And he went forward a little, and fell on his face in prayer, saying: My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; yet not as I will, but as thou willest.

⁴² Again, a second time, he went away, and prayed, saying: My Father, if this cup cannot pass from me, unless I drink it, thy will be done.

³⁵ for whoever will do the will of God, is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

⁴⁷ And if your eye ensnare you, pull it out: it is better for you to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be thrown into hell-fire,

²³ And Jesus looked around, and said to his disciples: With what difficulty will those who have riches enter into the kingdom of God! ²⁴ And his disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus, answering again, said to them: Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God!

⁴⁶ But why call me Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I command?

²⁸ And he said: Yes, rather blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

²⁵ When once the master of the house has risen, and closed the door, and you begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open for us, and he shall answer and say to you, I know you not, whence you are;

⁵ Jesus answered: Verily, verily I say to you, unless a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he can not enter into the kingdom of God.

And they computed their value, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver. ²⁰ So mightily did the word of the Lord grow and prevail.

¹³ in the day when God shall judge the secret works of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.

² And be not conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may learn what the will of God is the good, and the acceptable, and the perfect.

⁶ not with eye-service, as pleasing men, but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the soul;

¹² Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, salutes you; he always strives earnestly for you in his prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

³ For this is the will of God, your sanctification, that you keep yourselves from lewdness;

¹⁸ in every thing give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

¹⁶ They profess that they know God, but in their works they deny him, being detestable and disobedient, and, as it respects every good work, rejected.

⁶ Since, then, it remains that some must enter into it, and they, to whom the good news was first preached, did not enter in on account of unbelief,

²¹ perfect you in every good work, in order that you may do his will, working in you that which is acceptable in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory from age to age. Amen.

²² But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

²⁰ But will you know, vain man, that faith without works is dead? ²¹ Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? ²² Do you see that faith was the moving principle in his works, and by works his faith was made perfect? ²³ And the scripture was fulfilled, which says, Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness: and he was called the friend of God. ²⁴ Do you see that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only? ²⁵ Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and sent them out another way? ²⁶ For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

¹⁵ For such is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men;

² so that he no longer lives the rest of his time in the flesh, according to the desires of men, but according to the will of God.

²¹ Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, we have confidence to ward God, ²² and whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments, and do the things that are pleasing in his sight. ²³ And this is his commandment: That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one an other, as he gave us commandment. ²⁴ And he that keeps his commandments abides in him, and he in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit which he has given us.

²⁷ and he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken in pieces, as I have received from my Father:

⁵ He that overcomes, shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot his name out of the book of life: and I will con fess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

¹⁴ Blessed are those who do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and that they may go through the gates into the city.
