⁷ Behold, he comes with clouds, and every eye shall see him, and those also who pierced him: and all the tribes of the land shall lament because of him. Even so. Amen.

³⁰ And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven; and then shall all the tribes of the land mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

⁶⁴ Jesus said to him: You have said. Moreover, I say to you, Hereafter you shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of the Almighty, and coming upon the clouds of heaven.

²⁶ And then shall they see the Son of man coming in clouds with great power and glory.

⁶² Jesus replied: I am. And you shall see the Son of man sitting at the right hand of the Almighty, and coming with the clouds of heaven.

²⁷ And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

²⁸ But Jesus turned, and said to them, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. ²⁹ For, behold, the days are coming in which they will say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bore, and the breasts that never gave suck. ³⁰ Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.

³⁴ but one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear; and immediately there came out blood and water.

³⁷ And again another scripture says: They shall look on him whom they pierced.

⁹ And when he had spoken these things, while they were looking on him, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight. ¹⁰ And while they were looking earnestly to ward heaven, as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white raiment, ¹¹ who also said: Men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, shall come in the same manner in which you saw him go into heaven.

¹⁰ and to wait for his Son from heaven, even Jesus, whom he raised from the dead, and who delivers us from the coming wrath.

¹⁷ then we, the living who remain, shall, together with them, be caught up in clouds into the air to meet the Lord, and so shall we be ever with the Lord.

⁶ if they fall away; since they again crucify in themselves the Son of God, and put him to an open shame.

²⁹ of how much severer punishment do you think he shall be thought worthy, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant, with which he was sanctified, a common thing, and has done despite to the Spirit of grace?

² Beloved, now are we the children of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

¹⁴ And Enoch, the seventh from Adam, also prophesied with reference to these men, saying: Behold, the Lord comes with his holy myriads,

¹⁵ and the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the officers, and the rich men, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every freeman, hid themselves in the caves, and in the rocks of the mountains, ¹⁶ and said to the mountains and to the rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: ¹⁷ for the great day of his wrath has come, and who is able to stand?

¹⁴ And I saw, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat one like the Son of man, who had on his head a crown of gold, and in his hand a sharp sickle. ¹⁵ And another angel came out of the temple, and cried with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud: Thrust in your sickle and reap, for the time has come for you to reap, for the harvest of the earth is fully ripe. ¹⁶ And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.

¹⁵ Those who traded in these things, who were made rich by her, Shalt stand far off for fear of her torment, weeping and mourning and ¹⁶ saying: Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen and purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls! for in one hour, so great riches have been brought to ruin. ¹⁷ And every master of a ship, and every one in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood far off, ¹⁸ and cried, when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying: "What city is like the great city? ¹⁹ And they threw dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and mourning and saying: Alas, alas, that great city, by which all that had ships in the sea became rich by means of costly merchandise! for in one hour she is made desolate. ²⁰ Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets: for God has avenged you on her.

¹ After these things, I heard the great voice of a vast multitude in heaven, saying: Alleluia; Salvation and glory and honor and power to our God: ² for true and righteous are his judgments, for he has judged the great harlot that corrupted the earth with her lewdness; and he has avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. ³ And again they said: Alleluia; and her smoke rises up from age to age.

⁴ And they shall see his face, and his name shall be in their foreheads.

²⁰ He that testifies these things, says: Surely, I. come quickly. Amen: come, Lord Jesus.
