¹³ And the sea gave up the dead that were in it; and death and hades gave up the dead that were in them; and they were judged, every one according to his works.

²⁸ Be not astonished at this; for the hour is coming in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, ²⁹ and shall come forth; those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.

⁵⁰ But this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom of God, nor does corruption inherit incorruption. ⁵¹ Behold, I declare to you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed ⁵² in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. ⁵³ For this corruptible body must put on incorruptibility; and this mortal body must put on immortality. ⁵⁴ And when this corruptible body shall have put on incorruptibility, and this mortal body shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the word that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory. ⁵⁵ Death, where is thy sting? Hades, where is thy victory? ⁵⁶ The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. ⁵⁷ But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. ⁵⁸ Therefore, my be loved brethren, be firm, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord; for you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

¹⁸ and I am he that lives; and I was dead, and be hold, I am alive from age to age: and I have the keys of hades and of death.

⁸ And I saw, and behold, a pale horse; and the name of him that sat upon him was Death: and Hades followed with him. And authority was given to him over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with the sword, and with famine, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

¹² And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before the throne; and the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of the things that were written in the books, according to their works.

¹⁴ And death and hades were cast into the lake of fire: this is the second death.
