³² καὶ (And) ὃς (whoever) ἐὰν (if) εἴπῃ (speaks) λόγον (a word) κατὰ (against) τοῦ (the) Υἱοῦ (Son) τοῦ (-) ἀνθρώπου (of Man), ἀφεθήσεται (it will be forgiven) αὐτῷ (him); ὃς (whoever) δ’ (now) ἂν (-) εἴπῃ (speaks) κατὰ (against) τοῦ (-) Πνεύματος (Spirit) τοῦ (the) Ἁγίου (Holy), οὐκ (not) ἀφεθήσεται (it will be forgiven) αὐτῷ (him), οὔτε (neither) ἐν (in) τούτῳ (this) τῷ (-) αἰῶνι (age) οὔτε (nor) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) μέλλοντι (coming one).

³¹ Ὅταν (When) δὲ (then) ἔλθῃ (comes) ὁ (the) υἱὸς (Son) τοῦ (-) ἀνθρώπου (of Man) ἐν (in) τῇ (the) δόξῃ (glory) αὐτοῦ (of Him), καὶ (and) πάντες (all) οἱ (the) ἄγγελοι (angels) μετ’ (with) αὐτοῦ (Him), τότε (then) καθίσει (He will sit) ἐπὶ (upon the) θρόνου (throne) δόξης (of glory) αὐτοῦ (of Him). ³² καὶ (And) συναχθήσονται (will be gathered) ἔμπροσθεν (before) αὐτοῦ (Him) πάντα (all) τὰ (the) ἔθνη (nations), καὶ (and) ἀφορίσει (He will separate) αὐτοὺς (them) ἀπ’ (from) ἀλλήλων (one another), ὥσπερ (as) ὁ (the) ποιμὴν (shepherd) ἀφορίζει (separates) τὰ (the) πρόβατα (sheep) ἀπὸ (from) τῶν (the) ἐρίφων (goats). ³³ καὶ (And) στήσει (He will set) τὰ (-) μὲν (indeed) πρόβατα (the sheep) ἐκ (on) δεξιῶν (the right hand) αὐτοῦ (of Him), τὰ (-) δὲ (and) ἐρίφια (the goats) ἐξ (on) εὐωνύμων (the left). ³⁴ Τότε (Then) ἐρεῖ (will say) ὁ (the) Βασιλεὺς (King) τοῖς (to those) ἐκ (on) δεξιῶν (the right hand) αὐτοῦ (of Him), ‘Δεῦτε (Come), οἱ (those) εὐλογημένοι (being blessed) τοῦ (of the) Πατρός (Father) μου (of me), κληρονομήσατε (inherit) τὴν (the) ἡτοιμασμένην (having been prepared) ὑμῖν (for you) βασιλείαν (kingdom) ἀπὸ (from the) καταβολῆς (foundation) κόσμου (of the world). ³⁵ ἐπείνασα (I hungered) γὰρ (for), καὶ (and) ἐδώκατέ (you gave) μοι (Me) φαγεῖν (to eat); ἐδίψησα (I thirsted), καὶ (and) ἐποτίσατέ (you gave to drink) με (me); ξένος (a stranger) ἤμην (I was), καὶ (and) συνηγάγετέ (you took in) με (Me); ³⁶ γυμνὸς (naked), καὶ (and) περιεβάλετέ (you clothed) με (Me); ἠσθένησα (I was sick), καὶ (and) ἐπεσκέψασθέ (you visited) με (Me); ἐν (in) φυλακῇ (prison) ἤμην (I was), καὶ (and) ἤλθατε (you came) πρός (to) με (Me).’

¹⁸ Καὶ (And) προσελθὼν (having come to them), ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) ἐλάλησεν (spoke) αὐτοῖς (to them), λέγων (saying), “Ἐδόθη (Has been given) μοι (to Me) πᾶσα (all) ἐξουσία (authority) ἐν (in) οὐρανῷ (heaven) καὶ (and) ἐπὶ (on) τῆς (the) γῆς (earth). ¹⁹ πορευθέντες (Having gone) οὖν (therefore), μαθητεύσατε (disciple) πάντα (all) τὰ (the) ἔθνη (nations), βαπτίζοντες (baptizing) αὐτοὺς (them) εἰς (in) τὸ (the) ὄνομα (name) τοῦ (of the) Πατρὸς (Father), καὶ (and) τοῦ (of the) Υἱοῦ (Son), καὶ (and) τοῦ (of the) Ἁγίου (Holy) Πνεύματος (Spirit),

²⁵ Ἀμὴν (Truly), ἀμὴν (truly), λέγω (I say) ὑμῖν (to you) ὅτι (that) ἔρχεται (is coming) ὥρα (an hour), καὶ (and) νῦν (now) ἐστιν (is), ὅτε (when) οἱ (the) νεκροὶ (dead) ἀκούσουσιν (will hear) τῆς (the) φωνῆς (voice) τοῦ (of the) Υἱοῦ (Son) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God), καὶ (and) οἱ (those) ἀκούσαντες (having heard) ζήσουσιν (will live). ²⁶ ὥσπερ (As) γὰρ (for) ὁ (the) Πατὴρ (Father) ἔχει (has) ζωὴν (life) ἐν (in) ἑαυτῷ (Himself), οὕτως (so) καὶ (also) τῷ (to the) Υἱῷ (Son) ἔδωκεν (He gave) ζωὴν (life), ἔχειν (to have) ἐν (in) ἑαυτῷ (Himself). ²⁷ καὶ (And) ἐξουσίαν (authority) ἔδωκεν (He gave) αὐτῷ (Him) κρίσιν (judgment) ποιεῖν (to execute), ὅτι (because) Υἱὸς (Son) ἀνθρώπου (of Man) ἐστίν (He is). ²⁸ μὴ (Not) θαυμάζετε (marvel at) τοῦτο (this), ὅτι (for) ἔρχεται (is coming) ὥρα (an hour) ἐν (in) ᾗ (which) πάντες (all) οἱ (those) ἐν (in) τοῖς (the) μνημείοις (tombs) ἀκούσουσιν (will hear) τῆς (the) φωνῆς (voice) αὐτοῦ (of Him), ²⁹ καὶ (and) ἐκπορεύσονται (will come forth) — οἱ (those) τὰ (-) ἀγαθὰ (good) ποιήσαντες (having done), εἰς (to) ἀνάστασιν (the resurrection) ζωῆς (of life); οἱ (-) ‹δὲ› (and) τὰ (those) φαῦλα (evil) πράξαντες (having done), εἰς (to) ἀνάστασιν (the resurrection) κρίσεως (of judgment).

¹² Καὶ (And) οὐκ (not) ἔστιν (there is) ἐν (in) ἄλλῳ (other) οὐδενὶ (no one) ἡ (the) σωτηρία (salvation), οὐδὲ (not) γὰρ (for) ὄνομά (name) ἐστιν (is there) ἕτερον (another) ὑπὸ (under) τὸν (-) οὐρανὸν (heaven) τὸ (-) δεδομένον (having been given) ἐν (among) ἀνθρώποις (men) ἐν (by) ᾧ (which) δεῖ (it behooves) σωθῆναι (to be saved) ἡμᾶς (us).”

³⁸ πέπεισμαι (I am persuaded) γὰρ (for) ὅτι (that) οὔτε (neither) θάνατος (death), οὔτε (nor) ζωὴ (life), οὔτε (nor) ἄγγελοι (angels), οὔτε (nor) ἀρχαὶ (principalities), οὔτε (nor) ἐνεστῶτα (things present), οὔτε (nor) μέλλοντα (things to come), οὔτε (nor) δυνάμεις (powers), ³⁹ οὔτε (nor) ὕψωμα (height), οὔτε (nor) βάθος (depth), οὔτε (nor) τις (any) κτίσις (created thing) ἑτέρα (other), δυνήσεται (will be able) ἡμᾶς (us) χωρίσαι (to separate) ἀπὸ (from) τῆς (the) ἀγάπης (love) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God) τῆς (-) ἐν (in) Χριστῷ (Christ) Ἰησοῦ (Jesus) τῷ (the) Κυρίῳ (Lord) ἡμῶν (of us).

¹⁰ ἵνα (so that) γνωρισθῇ (should be made known) νῦν (now) ταῖς (to the) ἀρχαῖς (rulers) καὶ (and) ταῖς (the) ἐξουσίαις (authorities) ἐν (in) τοῖς (the) ἐπουρανίοις (heavenly realms), διὰ (through) τῆς (the) ἐκκλησίας (church), ἡ (the) πολυποίκιλος (manifold) σοφία (wisdom) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God),

¹² ὅτι (because) οὐκ (not) ἔστιν (is) ἡμῖν (to us) ἡ (the) πάλη (wrestling) πρὸς (against) αἷμα (blood) καὶ (and) σάρκα (flesh), ἀλλὰ (but) πρὸς (against) τὰς (the) ἀρχάς (rulers), πρὸς (against) τὰς (the) ἐξουσίας (authorities), πρὸς (against) τοὺς (the) κοσμοκράτορας (cosmic powers) τοῦ (of the) σκότους (darkness) τούτου (this), πρὸς (against) τὰ (the) πνευματικὰ (spiritual forces) τῆς (-) πονηρίας (of evil) ἐν (in) τοῖς (the) ἐπουρανίοις (heavenly realms).

⁹ Διὸ (Therefore) καὶ (also) ὁ (-) Θεὸς (God) αὐτὸν (Him) ὑπερύψωσεν (highly exalted), καὶ (and) ἐχαρίσατο (granted) αὐτῷ (to Him) τὸ (the) ὄνομα (name) τὸ (-) ὑπὲρ (above) πᾶν (every) ὄνομα (name), ¹⁰ ἵνα (that) ἐν (at) τῷ (the) ὀνόματι (name) Ἰησοῦ (of Jesus) πᾶν (every) γόνυ (knee) κάμψῃ (should bow), ἐπουρανίων (in the heavens) καὶ (and) ἐπιγείων (on earth) καὶ (and) καταχθονίων (under the earth), ¹¹ καὶ (and) πᾶσα (every) γλῶσσα (tongue) ἐξομολογήσηται (should confess) ὅτι (that) ΚΥΡΙΟΣ (is Lord) ΙΗΣΟΥΣ (Jesus) ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ (Christ), εἰς (to) δόξαν (the glory) Θεοῦ (of God) Πατρός (the Father).

¹⁵ Ὅς (He) ἐστιν (is) εἰκὼν (the image) τοῦ (of the) Θεοῦ (God) τοῦ (-) ἀοράτου (invisible), πρωτότοκος (the firstborn) πάσης (over all) κτίσεως (creation), ¹⁶ ὅτι (because) ἐν (in) αὐτῷ (Him) ἐκτίσθη (were created) τὰ (-) πάντα (all things) ἐν (in) τοῖς (the) οὐρανοῖς (heavens) καὶ (and) ἐπὶ (upon) τῆς (the) γῆς (earth), τὰ (the) ὁρατὰ (visible) καὶ (and) τὰ (the) ἀόρατα (invisible), εἴτε (whether) θρόνοι (thrones) εἴτε (or) κυριότητες (dominions) εἴτε (or) ἀρχαὶ (rulers) εἴτε (or) ἐξουσίαι (authorities); τὰ (-) πάντα (all things) δι’ (through) αὐτοῦ (Him) καὶ (and) εἰς (unto) αὐτὸν (Him) ἔκτισται (have been created).

¹⁰ καὶ (and) ἐστὲ (you are) ἐν (in) αὐτῷ (Him) πεπληρωμένοι (complete), ὅς (who) ἐστιν (is) ἡ (the) κεφαλὴ (head) πάσης (of all) ἀρχῆς (rule) καὶ (and) ἐξουσίας (authority),

¹⁵ ἀπεκδυσάμενος (Having disarmed) τὰς (the) ἀρχὰς (rulers) καὶ (and) τὰς (the) ἐξουσίας (authorities), ἐδειγμάτισεν (He made a show of them) ἐν (in) παρρησίᾳ (public), θριαμβεύσας (having triumphed) αὐτοὺς (over them) ἐν (in) αὐτῷ (it).

⁴ τοσούτῳ (By so much) κρείττων (superior) γενόμενος (having become) τῶν (to the) ἀγγέλων (angels), ὅσῳ (as much as) διαφορώτερον (more excellent) παρ’ (beyond) αὐτοὺς (theirs), κεκληρονόμηκεν (He has inherited) ὄνομα (a name).

⁵ Οὐ (Not) γὰρ (for) ἀγγέλοις (to angels) ὑπέταξεν (did He subject) τὴν (the) οἰκουμένην (world) τὴν (that) μέλλουσαν (is coming), περὶ (of) ἧς (which) λαλοῦμεν (we are speaking).

¹⁴ Ἔχοντες (Having) οὖν (therefore) ἀρχιερέα (a high priest) μέγαν (great), διεληλυθότα (having passed through) τοὺς (the) οὐρανούς (heavens), Ἰησοῦν (Jesus), τὸν (the) Υἱὸν (Son) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God), κρατῶμεν (we should hold firmly) τῆς (to our) ὁμολογίας (confession).

²² ὅς (who) ἐστιν (is) ἐν (at) δεξιᾷ (the right hand) [τοῦ] (-) Θεοῦ (of God), πορευθεὶς (having gone) εἰς (into) οὐρανόν (heaven), ὑποταγέντων (having been subjected) αὐτῷ (to Him) ἀγγέλων (angels) καὶ (and) ἐξουσιῶν (authorities) καὶ (and) δυνάμεων (powers).

¹² οἱ (-) δὲ (And) ὀφθαλμοὶ (the eyes) αὐτοῦ (of Him) [ὡς] (are like) φλὸξ (a flame) πυρός (of fire), καὶ (and) ἐπὶ (upon) τὴν (the) κεφαλὴν (head) αὐτοῦ (of Him) διαδήματα (royal crowns) πολλά (many), ἔχων (having) ὄνομα (a name) γεγραμμένον (having been written), ὃ (which) οὐδεὶς (no one) οἶδεν (knows), εἰ (if) μὴ (not) αὐτός (He Himself), ¹³ καὶ (and) περιβεβλημένος (having been clothed with) ἱμάτιον (a garment) βεβαμμένον (having been dipped) αἵματι (in blood). καὶ (And) κέκληται (is called) τὸ (the) ὄνομα (name) αὐτοῦ (of Him), Ὁ (The) Λόγος (Word) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God).

¹⁰ καὶ (And) ὁ (the) διάβολος (devil), ὁ (the one) πλανῶν (deceiving) αὐτοὺς (them), ἐβλήθη (was cast) εἰς (into) τὴν (the) λίμνην (lake) τοῦ (-) πυρὸς (of fire) καὶ (and) θείου (of sulfur), ὅπου (where are) καὶ (also) τὸ (the) θηρίον (beast) καὶ (and) ὁ (the) ψευδοπροφήτης (false prophet); καὶ (and) βασανισθήσονται (they will be tormented) ἡμέρας (day) καὶ (and) νυκτὸς (night) εἰς (to) τοὺς (the) αἰῶνας (ages) τῶν (of the) αἰώνων (ages). ¹¹ Καὶ (And) εἶδον (I saw) θρόνον (a throne) μέγαν (great) λευκὸν (white), καὶ (and) τὸν (the One) καθήμενον (sitting) ἐπ’ (on) αὐτόν (it), οὗ (whose) ἀπὸ (from) τοῦ (-) προσώπου (face) ἔφυγεν (fled) ἡ (the) γῆ (earth) καὶ (and) ὁ (-) οὐρανός (heaven), καὶ (and) τόπος (place) οὐχ (not) εὑρέθη (was found) αὐτοῖς (for them). ¹² καὶ (And) εἶδον (I saw) τοὺς (the) νεκρούς (dead), τοὺς (-) μεγάλους (great) καὶ (and) τοὺς (-) μικρούς (small), ἑστῶτας (standing) ἐνώπιον (before) τοῦ (the) θρόνου (throne), καὶ (and) βιβλία (books) ἠνοίχθησαν (were opened).
