⁶ Λέγει (Says) οὖν (therefore) αὐτοῖς (to them) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), “Ὁ (The) καιρὸς (time) ὁ (-) ἐμὸς (of Me) οὔπω (not yet) πάρεστιν (is come), ὁ (-) δὲ (but) καιρὸς (the time) ὁ (-) ὑμέτερος (of you) πάντοτέ (always) ἐστιν (is) ἕτοιμος (ready).

¹⁸ Ὁ (-) δὲ (And) εἶπεν (He said), “Ὑπάγετε (Go) εἰς (into) τὴν (the) πόλιν (city) πρὸς (unto) τὸν (a) δεῖνα (certain man) καὶ (and) εἴπατε (tell) αὐτῷ (him) Ὁ (the) Διδάσκαλος (Teacher) λέγει (says), ‘Ὁ (The) καιρός (time) μου (of Me) ἐγγύς (near) ἐστιν (is); πρὸς (with) σὲ (you) ποιῶ (I will keep) τὸ (the) πάσχα (Passover), μετὰ (with) τῶν (the) μαθητῶν (disciples) μου (of Me).’”

⁴ Καὶ (And) λέγει (says) αὐτῇ (to her) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), “Τί (What) ἐμοὶ (to Me) καὶ (and) σοί (to you), γύναι (woman)? οὔπω (Not yet) ἥκει (is come) ἡ (the) ὥρα (hour) μου (of Me).”

⁸ ὑμεῖς (You) ἀνάβητε (go up) εἰς (to) τὴν (the) ἑορτήν (feast). ἐγὼ (I) οὐκ (not) ἀναβαίνω (am going up) εἰς (to) τὴν (the) ἑορτὴν (feast) ταύτην (this), ὅτι (for) ὁ (-) ἐμὸς (My) καιρὸς (time) οὔπω (not yet) πεπλήρωται (has been fulfilled).”

³⁰ Ἐζήτουν (They were seeking) οὖν (therefore) αὐτὸν (Him) πιάσαι (to take), καὶ (but) οὐδεὶς (no one) ἐπέβαλεν (laid) ἐπ’ (upon) αὐτὸν (Him) τὴν (the) χεῖρα (hand), ὅτι (because) οὔπω (not yet) ἐληλύθει (had come) ἡ (the) ὥρα (hour) αὐτοῦ (of Him).

²⁰ Ταῦτα (These) τὰ (-) ῥήματα (words) ἐλάλησεν (He spoke) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) γαζοφυλακίῳ (treasury), διδάσκων (teaching) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) ἱερῷ (temple); καὶ (and) οὐδεὶς (no one) ἐπίασεν (seized) αὐτόν (Him), ὅτι (for) οὔπω (not yet) ἐληλύθει (had come) ἡ (the) ὥρα (hour) αὐτοῦ (of Him).

¹ Πρὸ (Before) δὲ (now) τῆς (the) ἑορτῆς (feast) τοῦ (of the) πάσχα (Passover), εἰδὼς (knowing) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) ὅτι (that) ἦλθεν (had come) αὐτοῦ (His) ἡ (-) ὥρα (hour), ἵνα (that) μεταβῇ (He would depart) ἐκ (out of) τοῦ (the) κόσμου (world) τούτου (this) πρὸς (to) τὸν (the) Πατέρα (Father), ἀγαπήσας (having loved) τοὺς (the) ἰδίους (own) τοὺς (who were) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) κόσμῳ (world), εἰς (to) τέλος (the end) ἠγάπησεν (He loved) αὐτούς (them).

¹ Ταῦτα (These things) ἐλάλησεν (spoke) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), καὶ (and) ἐπάρας (having lifted up) τοὺς (the) ὀφθαλμοὺς (eyes) αὐτοῦ (of Him) εἰς (to) τὸν (-) οὐρανὸν (heaven), εἶπεν (He said), “Πάτερ (Father), ἐλήλυθεν (has come) ἡ (the) ὥρα (hour); δόξασόν (glorify) σου (Your) τὸν (-) Υἱόν (Son), ἵνα (that) ὁ (the) Υἱὸς (Son) δοξάσῃ (may glorify) σέ (You).

⁷ Εἶπεν (He said) ‹δὲ› (then) πρὸς (to) αὐτούς (them), “Οὐχ (Not) ὑμῶν (yours) ἐστιν (it is) γνῶναι (to know) χρόνους (times) ἢ (or) καιροὺς (seasons) οὓς (which) ὁ (the) Πατὴρ (Father) ἔθετο (put in place) ἐν (by) τῇ (-) ἰδίᾳ (His own) ἐξουσίᾳ (authority).
