⁵⁹ λέγω (I say) σοι (to you), οὐ (no) μὴ (not) ἐξέλθῃς (shall you come out) ἐκεῖθεν (from there) ἕως (until) καὶ (even) τὸ (the) ἔσχατον (last) λεπτὸν (lepton) ἀποδῷς (you shall have paid).”

³⁴ καὶ (And) ὀργισθεὶς (having been angry), ὁ (the) κύριος (master) αὐτοῦ (of him) παρέδωκεν (delivered) αὐτὸν (him) τοῖς (to the) βασανισταῖς (jailers), ἕως (until) οὗ (that) ἀποδῷ (he should pay) πᾶν (all) τὸ (-) ὀφειλόμενον (being owed) 〈αὐτῷ〉 (to him).

⁴¹ Τότε (Then) ἐρεῖ (will He say) καὶ (also) τοῖς (to those) ἐξ (on) εὐωνύμων (the left), ‘Πορεύεσθε (Depart) ἀπ’ (from) ἐμοῦ (Me), ‹οἱ› (those) κατηραμένοι (being cursed), εἰς (into) τὸ (the) πῦρ (fire) τὸ (-) αἰώνιον (eternal), τὸ (-) ἡτοιμασμένον (having been prepared) τῷ (for the) διαβόλῳ (devil) καὶ (and) τοῖς (the) ἀγγέλοις (angels) αὐτοῦ (of him).

⁴⁶ Καὶ (And) ἀπελεύσονται (will go away) οὗτοι (these) εἰς (into) κόλασιν (punishment) αἰώνιον (eternal); οἱ (-) δὲ (but) δίκαιοι (the righteous) εἰς (into) ζωὴν (life) αἰώνιον (eternal).”

⁴² καὶ (And) ἐλθοῦσα (having come), μία (one) χήρα (widow) πτωχὴ (poor) ἔβαλεν (cast in) λεπτὰ (lepta) δύο (two), ὅ (which) ἐστιν (is) κοδράντης (a kodrantes).

²⁶ καὶ (And) ἐν (besides) πᾶσι (all) τούτοις (these things), μεταξὺ (between) ἡμῶν (us) καὶ (and) ὑμῶν (you) χάσμα (a chasm) μέγα (great) ἐστήρικται (has been fixed), ὅπως (so that) οἱ (those) θέλοντες (desiring) διαβῆναι (to pass) ἔνθεν (from here) πρὸς (to) ὑμᾶς (you) μὴ (not) δύνωνται (are able), μηδὲ (nor) ἐκεῖθεν (from there) πρὸς (to) ἡμᾶς (us) διαπερῶσιν (can they pass).’

³ Εὐχαριστεῖν (To thank) ὀφείλομεν (we ought) τῷ (-) Θεῷ (God) πάντοτε (always) περὶ (concerning) ὑμῶν (you), ἀδελφοί (brothers), καθὼς (just as) ἄξιόν (fitting) ἐστιν (it is), ὅτι (because) ὑπεραυξάνει (is increasing exceedingly) ἡ (the) πίστις (faith) ὑμῶν (of you), καὶ (and) πλεονάζει (is abounding) ἡ (the) ἀγάπη (love) ἑνὸς (of one) ἑκάστου (each) πάντων (of all) ὑμῶν (you) εἰς (to) ἀλλήλους (one another);
