⁵² Καὶ (And) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) εἶπεν (said) αὐτῷ (to him), “Ὕπαγε (Go), ἡ (the) πίστις (faith) σου (of you) σέσωκέν (has healed) σε (you).” καὶ (And) εὐθὺς (immediately) ἀνέβλεψεν (he received sight), καὶ (and) ἠκολούθει (he began following) αὐτῷ (Him) ἐν (on) τῇ (the) ὁδῷ (way).

²² Ὁ (-) δὲ (And) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), στραφεὶς (having turned) καὶ (and) ἰδὼν (having seen) αὐτὴν (her), εἶπεν (said), “Θάρσει (Take courage), θύγατερ (daughter); ἡ (the) πίστις (faith) σου (of you) σέσωκέν (has cured) σε (you).” καὶ (And) ἐσώθη (was cured) ἡ (the) γυνὴ (woman) ἀπὸ (from) τῆς (the) ὥρας (hour) ἐκείνης (very).

²⁸ Ἐλθόντι (Having come) δὲ (now) εἰς (into) τὴν (the) οἰκίαν (house), προσῆλθον (came) αὐτῷ (to Him) οἱ (the) τυφλοί (blind men), καὶ (and) λέγει (says) αὐτοῖς (to them) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), “Πιστεύετε (Believe you) ὅτι (that) δύναμαι (I am able) τοῦτο (this) ποιῆσαι (to do)?” Λέγουσιν (They say) αὐτῷ (to him), “Ναί (Yes), Κύριε (Lord).” ²⁹ Τότε (Then) ἥψατο (He touched) τῶν (the) ὀφθαλμῶν (eyes) αὐτῶν (of them), λέγων (saying), “Κατὰ (According to) τὴν (the) πίστιν (faith) ὑμῶν (of you) γενηθήτω (be it) ὑμῖν (to you).” ³⁰ καὶ (And) ἠνεῴχθησαν (were opened) αὐτῶν (their) οἱ (-) ὀφθαλμοί (eyes). καὶ (And) ἐνεβριμήθη (strictly instructed) αὐτοῖς (them) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), λέγων (saying), “Ὁρᾶτε (See that) μηδεὶς (no one) γινωσκέτω (knows).”

⁵ τυφλοὶ (Blind) ἀναβλέπουσιν (receive sight), καὶ (and) χωλοὶ (lame) περιπατοῦσιν (walk), λεπροὶ (lepers) καθαρίζονται (are cleansed), καὶ (and) κωφοὶ (deaf) ἀκούουσιν (hear), καὶ (and) νεκροὶ (dead) ἐγείρονται (are raised), καὶ (and) πτωχοὶ (poor) εὐαγγελίζονται (are gospelized).

²² Τότε (Then) προσηνέχθη (was brought) αὐτῷ (to Him) δαιμονιζόμενος (one possessed by a demon), τυφλὸς (blind) καὶ (and) κωφός (mute), καὶ (and) ἐθεράπευσεν (He healed) αὐτόν (him), ὥστε (in order for) τὸν (the) κωφὸν (mute man) λαλεῖν (to speak) καὶ (and) βλέπειν (to see).

²⁸ Τότε (Then) ἀποκριθεὶς (answering), ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) εἶπεν (said) αὐτῇ (to her), “Ὦ (O) γύναι (woman), μεγάλη (great is) σου (of you) ἡ (the) πίστις (faith)! γενηθήτω (Be it) σοι (to you) ὡς (as) θέλεις (you desire).” καὶ (And) ἰάθη (was healed) ἡ (the) θυγάτηρ (daughter) αὐτῆς (of her) ἀπὸ (from) τῆς (the) ὥρας (hour) ἐκείνης (that).

¹⁴ Καὶ (And) προσῆλθον (came) αὐτῷ (to Him) τυφλοὶ (blind) καὶ (and) χωλοὶ (lame) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) ἱερῷ (temple), καὶ (and) ἐθεράπευσεν (He healed) αὐτούς (them).

³¹ καὶ (And) προσελθὼν (having come to her), ἤγειρεν (He raised up) αὐτὴν (her), κρατήσας (having taken hold) τῆς (of the) χειρός (hand). καὶ (And) ἀφῆκεν (left) αὐτὴν (her) ὁ (the) πυρετός (fever), καὶ (and) διηκόνει (she began to minister) αὐτοῖς (to them).

³⁴ Ὁ (-) δὲ (And) εἶπεν (He said) αὐτῇ (to her), “Θυγάτηρ (Daughter), ἡ (the) πίστις (faith) σου (of you) σέσωκέν (has healed) σε (you); ὕπαγε (go) εἰς (in) εἰρήνην (peace) καὶ (and) ἴσθι (be) ὑγιὴς (sound) ἀπὸ (from) τῆς (the) μάστιγός (affliction) σου (of you).”

²⁵ Εἶτα (Then) πάλιν (again) ἐπέθηκεν (He laid) τὰς (the) χεῖρας (hands) ἐπὶ (upon) τοὺς (the) ὀφθαλμοὺς (eyes) αὐτοῦ (of him), καὶ (and) διέβλεψεν (he opened his eyes) καὶ (and) ἀπεκατέστη (he was restored), καὶ (and) ἐνέβλεπεν (he began to see) τηλαυγῶς (clearly) ἅπαντα (everything).

⁵⁰ Εἶπεν (He said) δὲ (then) πρὸς (to) τὴν (the) γυναῖκα (woman), “Ἡ (The) πίστις (faith) σου (of You) σέσωκέν (has saved) σε (you); πορεύου (go) εἰς (in) εἰρήνην (peace).”

² καὶ (and) γυναῖκές (women) τινες (certain) αἳ (who) ἦσαν (had been) τεθεραπευμέναι (cured) ἀπὸ (from) πνευμάτων (spirits) πονηρῶν (evil) καὶ (and) ἀσθενειῶν (infirmities): Μαρία (Mary) ἡ (who) καλουμένη (is called) Μαγδαληνή (Magdalene), ἀφ’ (from) ἧς (whom) δαιμόνια (demons) ἑπτὰ (seven) ἐξεληλύθει (had gone out); ³ καὶ (and) Ἰωάννα (Joanna) γυνὴ (wife) Χουζᾶ (of Chuza), ἐπιτρόπου (a steward) Ἡρῴδου (of Herod), καὶ (and) Σουσάννα (Susanna), καὶ (and) ἕτεραι (others) πολλαί (many), αἵτινες (who) διηκόνουν (were ministering) αὐτοῖς (to them) ἐκ (out of) τῶν (the) ὑπαρχόντων (means) αὐταῖς (their own).

⁴⁸ καὶ (and) εἶπεν (He said) αὐτοῖς (to them), “Ὃς (Whoever) ἐὰν (if) δέξηται (shall receive) τοῦτο (this) τὸ (-) παιδίον (child) ἐπὶ (in) τῷ (the) ὀνόματί (name) μου (of Me), ἐμὲ (Me) δέχεται (receives); καὶ (and) ὃς (whoever) ἂν (-) ἐμὲ (Me) δέξηται (shall receive), δέχεται (receives) τὸν (the One) ἀποστείλαντά (having sent) με (Me). ὁ (The one) γὰρ (for) μικρότερος (least) ἐν (among) πᾶσιν (all) ὑμῖν (you) ὑπάρχων (being), οὗτός (he) ἐστιν (shall be) μέγας (great).”

⁵ ὅταν (While) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) κόσμῳ (world) ὦ (I shall be), φῶς (the light) εἰμι (I am) τοῦ (of the) κόσμου (world).” ⁶ Ταῦτα (These things) εἰπὼν (having said), ἔπτυσεν (He spat) χαμαὶ (on the ground), καὶ (and) ἐποίησεν (made) πηλὸν (clay) ἐκ (of) τοῦ (the) πτύσματος (spittle), καὶ (and) ἐπέχρισεν* (applied) αὐτοῦ (to him) τὸν (the) πηλὸν (clay) ἐπὶ (to) τοὺς (the) ὀφθαλμούς (eyes). ⁷ καὶ (And) εἶπεν (He said) αὐτῷ (to him), “Ὕπαγε (Go), νίψαι (wash) εἰς (in) τὴν (the) κολυμβήθραν (pool) τοῦ (-) Σιλωάμ (of Siloam),” ὃ (which) ἑρμηνεύεται (means) Ἀπεσταλμένος (Sent). ἀπῆλθεν (He went) οὖν (therefore) καὶ (and) ἐνίψατο (washed), καὶ (and) ἦλθεν (came back) βλέπων (seeing).

³² ἐκ (Out of) τοῦ (the) αἰῶνος (age) οὐκ (never) ἠκούσθη (it has been heard), ὅτι (that) ἠνέῳξέν (opened) τις (anyone) ὀφθαλμοὺς (the eyes) τυφλοῦ (of one blind) γεγεννημένου (having been born).

³⁹ Καὶ (And) εἶπεν (said) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), “Εἰς (For) κρίμα (judgment) ἐγὼ (I) εἰς (into) τὸν (the) κόσμον (world) τοῦτον (this) ἦλθον (came), ἵνα (that) οἱ (those) μὴ (not) βλέποντες (seeing) βλέπωσιν (may see); καὶ (and) οἱ (those) βλέποντες (seeing), τυφλοὶ (blind) γένωνται (may become).”

¹⁸ ἀνοῖξαι (to open) ὀφθαλμοὺς (eyes) αὐτῶν (of them), τοῦ (that) ἐπιστρέψαι (they may turn) ἀπὸ (from) σκότους (darkness) εἰς (to) φῶς (light), καὶ (and) τῆς (from the) ἐξουσίας (power) τοῦ (-) Σατανᾶ (of Satan) ἐπὶ (to) τὸν (-) Θεόν (God), τοῦ (that) λαβεῖν (may receive) αὐτοὺς (they) ἄφεσιν (forgiveness) ἁμαρτιῶν (of sins) καὶ (and) κλῆρον (an inheritance) ἐν (among) τοῖς (those) ἡγιασμένοις (having been sanctified) πίστει (by faith) τῇ (that is) εἰς (in) ἐμέ (Me).’
