²⁸ εἰ (If) δὲ (however) ἐν (by the) Πνεύματι (Spirit) Θεοῦ (of God) ἐγὼ (I) ἐκβάλλω (cast out) τὰ (-) δαιμόνια (demons), ἄρα (then) ἔφθασεν (has come) ἐφ’ (upon) ὑμᾶς (you) ἡ (the) βασιλεία (kingdom) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God).

³³ ζητεῖτε (Seek) δὲ (however) πρῶτον (first) τὴν (the) βασιλείαν (kingdom) [τοῦ (of) θεοῦ] (God) καὶ (and) τὴν (the) δικαιοσύνην (righteousness) αὐτοῦ (of Him), καὶ (and) ταῦτα (these things) πάντα (all) προστεθήσεται (will be added) ὑμῖν (to you).

¹⁸ “Ἰδοὺ (Behold) ὁ (the) παῖς (servant) μου (of Me), ὃν (whom) ᾑρέτισα (I have chosen), ὁ (the) ἀγαπητός (beloved) μου (of Me), ‹εἰς› (in) ὃν (whom) εὐδόκησεν (has found delight) ἡ (the) ψυχή (soul) μου (of Me). θήσω (I will put) τὸ (the) Πνεῦμά (Spirit) μου (of Me) ἐπ’ (upon) αὐτόν (Him), καὶ (and) κρίσιν (justice) τοῖς (to the) ἔθνεσιν (Gentiles) ἀπαγγελεῖ (He will proclaim).

³¹ Τίς (Which) ἐκ (of) τῶν (the) δύο (two) ἐποίησεν (did) τὸ (the) θέλημα (will) τοῦ (of the) πατρός (father)?” Λέγουσιν (They say), “Ὁ (The) πρῶτος* (first).” Λέγει (Says) αὐτοῖς (to them) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), “Ἀμὴν (Truly) λέγω (I say) ὑμῖν (to you) ὅτι (that) οἱ (the) τελῶναι (tax collectors) καὶ (and) αἱ (the) πόρναι (prostitutes) προάγουσιν (go before) ὑμᾶς (you) εἰς (into) τὴν (the) βασιλείαν (kingdom) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God).

⁴³ Διὰ (Because of) τοῦτο (this) λέγω (I say) ὑμῖν (to you) ὅτι (that) ἀρθήσεται (will be taken away) ἀφ’ (from) ὑμῶν (you) ἡ (the) βασιλεία (kingdom) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God), καὶ (and) δοθήσεται (it will be given) ἔθνει (to a people) ποιοῦντι (producing) τοὺς (the) καρποὺς (fruits) αὐτῆς (of it).

¹⁵ καὶ (and) λέγων (saying) ὅτι (-), “Πεπλήρωται (Has been fulfilled) ὁ (the) καιρὸς (time), καὶ (and) ἤγγικεν (has drawn near) ἡ (the) βασιλεία (kingdom) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God); μετανοεῖτε (repent) καὶ (and) πιστεύετε (believe) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) εὐαγγελίῳ (gospel).”

¹⁰ “Εὐλογημένη (Blessed) ἡ (is the) ἐρχομένη (coming) βασιλεία (kingdom) τοῦ (of the) πατρὸς (father) ἡμῶν (of us), Δαυίδ (David)!” “Ὡσαννὰ (Hosanna) ἐν (in) τοῖς (the) ὑψίστοις (highest)!”

¹⁷ σημεῖα (Signs) δὲ (now) τοῖς (those) πιστεύσασιν (having believed) ταῦτα (these) παρακολουθήσει (will accompany): ἐν (In) τῷ (the) ὀνόματί (name) μου (of Me) δαιμόνια (demons) ἐκβαλοῦσιν (they will cast out); γλώσσαις (with tongues) λαλήσουσιν (they will speak) καιναῖς (new);

³² οὗτος (He) ἔσται (will be) μέγας (great), καὶ (and) Υἱὸς (Son) Ὑψίστου (of the Most High) κληθήσεται (He will be called); καὶ (and) δώσει (will give) αὐτῷ (Him) Κύριος (the Lord) ὁ (-) Θεὸς (God) τὸν (the) θρόνον (throne) Δαυὶδ (of David), τοῦ (of the) πατρὸς (father) αὐτοῦ (of Him); ³³ καὶ (and) βασιλεύσει (He will reign) ἐπὶ (over) τὸν (the) οἶκον (house) Ἰακὼβ (of Jacob) εἰς (to) τοὺς (the) αἰῶνας (ages); καὶ (and) τῆς (of the) βασιλείας (kingdom) αὐτοῦ (of Him) οὐκ (not) ἔσται (there will be) τέλος (an end)!”

² καὶ (and) ἀπέστειλεν (He sent) αὐτοὺς (them) κηρύσσειν (to proclaim) τὴν (the) βασιλείαν (kingdom) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God) καὶ (and) ἰᾶσθαι (to heal) ‹τοὺς (the) ἀσθενεῖς› (sick),

¹¹ ‘Καὶ (Even) τὸν (the) κονιορτὸν (dust) τὸν (-) κολληθέντα (having clung) ἡμῖν (to us) ἐκ (out of) τῆς (the) πόλεως (city) ὑμῶν (of you) εἰς (to) τοὺς (the) πόδας (feet), ἀπομασσόμεθα (we wipe off) ὑμῖν (against you); πλὴν (yet) τοῦτο (this) γινώσκετε (know), ὅτι (that) ἤγγικεν (has drawn near) ἡ (the) βασιλεία (kingdom) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God).’

²⁰ εἰ (If) δὲ (however) ἐν (by) δακτύλῳ (the finger) Θεοῦ (of God) ἐγὼ (I) ἐκβάλλω (cast out) τὰ (the) δαιμόνια (demons), ἄρα (then) ἔφθασεν (has come) ἐφ’ (upon) ὑμᾶς (you) ἡ (the) βασιλεία (kingdom) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God).

¹⁶ Ὁ (The) νόμος (law) καὶ (and) οἱ (the) προφῆται (prophets were) μέχρι (until) Ἰωάννου (John); ἀπὸ (from) τότε (that time) ἡ (the) βασιλεία (kingdom) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God) εὐαγγελίζεται (is proclaimed), καὶ (and) πᾶς (everyone) εἰς (into) αὐτὴν (it) βιάζεται (forces his way).

²⁰ Ἐπερωτηθεὶς (Having been asked) δὲ (now) ὑπὸ (by) τῶν (the) Φαρισαίων (Pharisees) πότε (when) ἔρχεται (is coming) ἡ (the) βασιλεία (kingdom) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God), ἀπεκρίθη (He answered) αὐτοῖς (them) καὶ (and) εἶπεν (said), “Οὐκ (Not) ἔρχεται (comes) ἡ (the) βασιλεία (kingdom) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God) μετὰ (with) παρατηρήσεως (careful observation), ²¹ οὐδὲ (nor) ἐροῦσιν (will they say), ‘Ἰδοὺ (Behold) ὧδε (here),’ ἤ (or) ‘Ἐκεῖ (There).’ ἰδοὺ (Behold) γὰρ (for), ἡ (the) βασιλεία (kingdom) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God) ἐντὸς (in the midst) ὑμῶν (of you) ἐστιν (is).”

³⁸ Ἰησοῦν (Jesus) τὸν (-) ἀπὸ (from) Ναζαρέθ (Nazareth), ὡς (how) ἔχρισεν (anointed) αὐτὸν (Him) ὁ (-) Θεὸς (God) Πνεύματι (Spirit) Ἁγίῳ (with Holy) καὶ (and) δυνάμει (with power), ὃς (who) διῆλθεν (went about) εὐεργετῶν (doing good) καὶ (and) ἰώμενος (healing) πάντας (all) τοὺς (those) καταδυναστευομένους (being oppressed) ὑπὸ (by) τοῦ (the) διαβόλου (devil), ὅτι (because) ὁ (-) Θεὸς (God) ἦν (was) μετ’ (with) αὐτοῦ (Him).

¹⁷ οὐ (Not) γάρ (for) ἐστιν (is) ἡ (the) βασιλεία (kingdom) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God) βρῶσις (eating) καὶ (and) πόσις (drinking), ἀλλὰ (but) δικαιοσύνη (righteousness) καὶ (and) εἰρήνη (peace) καὶ (and) χαρὰ (joy) ἐν (in the) Πνεύματι (Spirit) Ἁγίῳ (Holy).

¹³ ὃς (who) ἐρρύσατο (has delivered) ἡμᾶς (us) ἐκ (from) τῆς (the) ἐξουσίας (dominion) τοῦ (-) σκότους (of darkness) καὶ (and) μετέστησεν (transferred us) εἰς (into) τὴν (the) βασιλείαν (kingdom) τοῦ (of the) Υἱοῦ (Son) τῆς (-) ἀγάπης (beloved) αὐτοῦ (of Him),

²⁸ Διὸ (Therefore) βασιλείαν (a kingdom) ἀσάλευτον (not to be shaken) παραλαμβάνοντες (receiving), ἔχωμεν (we may have) χάριν (grace), δι’ (by) ἧς (which) λατρεύωμεν (we may serve) εὐαρέστως (well pleasingly) τῷ (-) Θεῷ (God), μετὰ (with) εὐλαβείας (reverence) καὶ (and) δέους (awe).
