¹³ Ὁ (-) δὲ (And) ἀποκριθεὶς (answering) ἑνὶ (to one) αὐτῶν (of them), εἶπεν (he said), ‘Ἑταῖρε (Friend), οὐκ (not) ἀδικῶ (I do wrong) σε (you). οὐχὶ (Not) δηναρίου (for a denarius) συνεφώνησάς (did you agree with) μοι (me)?

¹² καὶ (and) λέγει (he says) αὐτῷ (to him), ‘Ἑταῖρε (Friend), πῶς (how) εἰσῆλθες (did you enter) ὧδε (here) μὴ (not) ἔχων (having) ἔνδυμα (garment) γάμου (of wedding)?’ Ὁ (-) δὲ (And) ἐφιμώθη (he was speechless).

⁵⁰ Ὁ (-) δὲ (And) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) εἶπεν (said) αὐτῷ (to him), “Ἑταῖρε (Friend), ἐφ’ (for) ὃ (what) πάρει (are you come)?” Τότε (Then) προσελθόντες (having come to him), ἐπέβαλον (they laid) τὰς (-) χεῖρας (hands) ἐπὶ (on) τὸν (-) Ἰησοῦν (Jesus) καὶ (and) ἐκράτησαν (seized) αὐτόν (Him).

¹⁴ Τί (What) οὖν (then) ἐροῦμεν (shall we say)? μὴ (Not) ἀδικία (injustice) παρὰ (with) τῷ (-) θεῷ (God is there)? μὴ (Never) γένοιτο (may it be)! ¹⁵ τῷ (To) Μωϋσεῖ (Moses) γὰρ (for) λέγει (He says): “Ἐλεήσω (I will show mercy to) ὃν (whom) ἂν (-) ἐλεῶ (I may show mercy), καὶ (and) οἰκτιρήσω* (I will have compassion on) ὃν (whom) ἂν (-) οἰκτίρω* (I may have compassion).”

²⁰ ὦ (O) ἄνθρωπε (man), μενοῦνγε (but rather), σὺ (you) τίς (who) εἶ (are) ὁ (-) ἀνταποκρινόμενος (answering against) τῷ (-) Θεῷ (God)? μὴ (Not) ἐρεῖ (will say) τὸ (the) πλάσμα (thing formed) τῷ (to the One) πλάσαντι (having formed it), “Τί (Why) με (me) ἐποίησας (have you made) οὕτως (like this)?”
