⁷ And I wish all men to be even like myself. But each has his own gift from God; for one has this, but one that.

¹¹ And He said to them, “Not all receive this word, but only those to whom it has been given. ¹² For there are eunuchs who were born thus from their mother’s womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of the heavens. The one being able to receive it, let him receive it.”

²⁹ Then Paul said, “I would wish anyhow to God, both in a little and in much, not only you but also all those hearing me this day to become such as I also am, except these chains.”

⁶ And we are having different gifts according to the grace having been given to us: if prophecy, according to the proportion of the faith;

⁸ Now I say to the unmarried and to the widows, it is good for them if they should remain as even I.

⁵ Have we no authority to take about a believer as a wife, as also the other apostles, and the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas?

¹⁵ But I have not used any of these. And neither have I written these things that it should be thus with me; for it would be better to me to die, rather than that anyone will make void my boasting.

⁴ Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit;
