⁷ But if we should walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

²⁹ On the next day, he sees Jesus coming to him and says, “Behold the Lamb of God, the One taking away the sin of the world.

³⁵ Therefore Jesus said to them, “Yet a little while, the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, so that darkness might not overtake you. And the one walking in the darkness does not know where he is going.

¹² The night is nearly over, and the day has drawn near; therefore we should cast off the works of darkness and should put on the armor of light.

¹¹ And some of you were such. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

⁷ in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of trespasses, according to the riches of His grace

⁸ For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light—

¹⁶ alone having immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no one of men has seen nor is able to see, to whom be honor and eternal dominion. Amen.

¹⁴ how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God, purify our conscience from dead works, in order to serve the living God!

¹⁷ Every good act of giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of shifting.

¹⁹ but by the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot,

³ that which we have seen and have heard, we proclaim to you also, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.

⁵ And this is the message that we have heard from Him and we preach to you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.

¹ My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you might not sin. And if anyone should sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous One. ² And He is the propitiation for our sins, and not only for ours, but also for those of the whole world.

⁹ The one claiming to be in the light and hating his brother is in the darkness even until now. ¹⁰ The one loving his brother abides in the light, and in him there is no cause for stumbling.

⁶ This is the One having come by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and by blood. And the Spirit is the One testifying, because the Spirit is the truth.

⁸ the Spirit and the water and the blood—and these are three in one.

⁴ I rejoiced exceedingly that I have found some of your children walking in truth, just as we have received a commandment from the Father.

⁴ I have no greater joy than these things, that I should hear of my children walking in the truth. ⁵ and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To the One loving us and releasing us from our sins through His blood,

¹⁴ And I said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

¹¹ And they have overcome him by reason of the blood of the Lamb, and by reason of the word of their testimony; and they have not loved their life unto death.
