¹⁹ We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the evil one.

³¹ Now is the judgment of this world; now the prince of this world will be cast out.

³⁰ No longer will I speak much with you; for the ruler of this world comes, and in Me he has nothing.

¹⁸ If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before you. ¹⁹ If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world but I chose you out of the world, on account of this, the world hates you.

¹¹ and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

²⁸ And as they did not see fit to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a depraved mind, to do things not being proper; ²⁹ being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, malice; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness; gossips, ³⁰ slanderers, hateful to God, insolent, arrogant, boastful; inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents; ³¹ foolish, untrustworthy, heartless, unmerciful; ³² who having known the righteous judgment of God, that those doing such things are worthy of death, not only are practicing them, but are also approving of those practicing them.

⁹ What then? Are we better? Not at all. For we have already charged both Jews and Greeks all to be under sin. ¹⁰ As it has been written: “There is none righteous, not even one; ¹¹ there is none understanding; there is none seeking after God. ¹² All have turned away; together they have become worthless; there is none who is practicing good, there is not so much as one. ¹³ Their throat is a grave having been opened; they keep practicing deceit with their tongues; the venom of vipers is under their lips, ¹⁴ of whom the mouth is full of cursing and of bitterness; ¹⁵ their feet are swift to shed blood; ¹⁶ ruin and misery are in their paths; ¹⁷ and the way of peace they have not known. ¹⁸ There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

¹⁶ The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,

¹² For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you, in the purity and sincerity of God, and not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God.

⁴ in whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so as for not to beam forth the illumination of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

¹ For we know that if the tent of our earthly house should be destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

⁴ the One having given Himself for our sins, so that He might deliver us out of the evil age having come presently, according to the will our God and Father,

² in which once you walked according to the age of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, the spirit now working in the sons of disobedience,

¹² For this reason I also suffer these things. But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that He is able to guard my deposit entrusted for that day.

³ For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, being deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another.

⁴ Adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility with God? Therefore whoever has chosen to be a friend of the world is appointed an enemy of God.

¹⁴ We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. The one not loving abides in death.

²⁴ And the one keeping His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us: by the Spirit whom He has given to us.

⁴ You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because the One in you is greater than the one in the world. ⁵ They are of the world; because of this they speak from out of the world, and the world listens to them. ⁶ We are of God. The one knowing God listens to us. He who is not of God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.

¹⁰ The one believing in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; the one not believing God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has testified concerning His Son.

¹³ I have written these things to you, the ones believing in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.

¹⁸ We know that everyone having been born of God does not continue to sin, but the One having been begotten of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him.

²⁰ Now we know that the Son of God is come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

⁹ And the great dragon was thrown out, the ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, deceiving the whole inhabited world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

⁷ And there was given to it to make war with the saints, and to overcome them. And authority was given to it over every tribe and people and tongue and nation. ⁸ And all dwelling on the earth will worship it, of whom their names have not been written from the founding of the world in the book of life of the Lamb having been slain.

³ And he cast him into the Abyss, and shut and sealed it over him, so that he should not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed. After these things it is necessary for him to be released for a little time.

⁷ And when the thousand years shall have been completed, Satan will be released out of his prison, ⁸ and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together unto the war, of whom is the number of them like the sand of the sea.
