¹ Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus, according to the command of God our Savior and of Christ Jesus our hope, ² To Timothy, my true child in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God our Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. ³ Just as I urged you to remain in Ephesus when I was going to Macedonia, so that you might warn certain men not to teach other doctrines, ⁴ nor to give heed to myths and endless genealogies, which bring speculations rather than God’s stewardship, which is in faith. ⁵ Now the goal of our instruction is love out of a pure heart, and a good conscience, and a sincere faith, ⁶ from which some, having missed the mark, have turned aside to meaningless discourse, ⁷ desiring to be teachers of the Law, understanding neither what they are saying nor that about which they confidently assert. ⁸ Now we know that the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully, ⁹ knowing this, that law is not enacted for a righteous one, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinful, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for slayers of man, ¹⁰ for the sexually immoral, homosexuals, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and if anything other is opposed to being sound in the teaching, ¹¹ according to the gospel of the glory of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted. ¹² I have thankfulness for the One having strengthened me, Christ Jesus our Lord, that He esteemed me faithful, having appointed me to service, ¹³ being formerly a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and insolent; but I was shown mercy, because I did it in unbelief, being ignorant. ¹⁴ And the grace of our Lord surpassingly increased with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. ¹⁵ Trustworthy is the saying, and worthy of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. ¹⁶ But because of this I was shown mercy, that in me, the foremost, Christ Jesus might display perfect patience, as a pattern for those being about to believe on Him to eternal life. ¹⁷ Now to the King of the ages, the immortal, invisible, only God, be honor and glory to the ages of the ages. Amen. ¹⁸ I commit to you this charge, Timothy, my child, according to the prophecies going before as to you, that by them you might wage the good warfare, ¹⁹ holding faith and a good conscience, which some, having cast away, have caused a shipwreck concerning the faith, ²⁰ among whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to Satan, that they may be disciplined not to blaspheme.

⁴⁷ and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.

¹¹ For today in the City of David a Savior has been born to you, who is Christ the Lord.

¹⁵ But the Lord said to him, “Go, for this man is My vessel of choice to carry My name before the Gentiles, and also kings, and the sons of Israel.

¹⁶ But rise up and stand on your feet. For I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you a servant and a witness both of that which you have seen of Me, and of the things in which I will appear to you, ¹⁷ delivering you out from the people and from the Gentiles to whom I am sending you, ¹⁸ to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those having been sanctified by faith in Me.’

¹ Paul, servant of Jesus Christ, a called apostle having been set apart for the gospel of God,

¹² And again, Isaiah says: “There will be the root of Jesse, and the One arising to rule over the Gentiles; in Him the Gentiles will hope.” ¹³ Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, for you to abound in hope in the power of the Holy Spirit.

¹⁷ For if I do this willingly, I have a reward; but if unwillingly, I am entrusted with a stewardship.

²⁷ to whom God has willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory,

¹⁶ Now our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God our Father, the One having loved us and having given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace,

¹² I have thankfulness for the One having strengthened me, Christ Jesus our Lord, that He esteemed me faithful, having appointed me to service,

³ This is good and acceptable before God our Savior,

⁷ in regard to which I was appointed a herald and an apostle—I am speaking the truth; I do not lie—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

¹⁰ For to this we toil and strive, because we have hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers.

¹⁰ and now having been made manifest by the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, having abolished death and having brought to light life and immortality through the gospel, ¹¹ to which I was appointed a herald, and an apostle, and a teacher.

³ and in His own seasons revealed in His word, in the proclamation with which I have been entrusted according to the commandment of God our Savior.

¹⁰ not pilfering, but showing all good fidelity, so that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things.

¹³ awaiting the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,

⁴ But when the kindness and the love of mankind of God our Savior appeared,

⁶ whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the One according to His great mercy having begotten us again to a living hope, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ out from the dead,

²¹ who by Him believe in God, the one having raised Him up out from the dead and having given Him glory, so as for your faith and hope to be in God.

¹ Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those having obtained a faith equally precious with ours, through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:

¹⁴ And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.

²⁵ to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and to all the ages. Amen.

¹ And he came also to Derbe and to Lystra. And behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timothy, the son of a believing Jewish woman and a Greek father, ² who was well spoken of by the brothers in Lystra and Iconium. ³ Paul wanted this one to go forth with him, and having taken him, he circumcised him on account of the Jews being in those parts; for they all knew that his father was a Greek.

⁷ To all those being in Rome beloved of God, called saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁴ I do not write these things shaming you, but admonishing you as my beloved children. ¹⁵ For if you should have ten thousand guardians in Christ, yet not many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. ¹⁶ Therefore I exhort you, become imitators of me. ¹⁷ On account of this I sent to you Timothy, who is my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, who will remind of you my ways that are in Christ Jesus, as I teach everywhere in every church.

³ Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,

¹⁹ But I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, that I also may be encouraged, having known the things concerning you. ²⁰ For I have no one like-minded, who genuinely will care for the things relative to you. ²¹ For those all are seeking the things of themselves, not the things of Jesus Christ. ²² But you know his proven worth, that as a child with a father he has served with me in the gospel.

² and we sent Timothy, our brother and fellow worker of God in the gospel of Christ, in order to strengthen and to encourage you concerning your faith,

¹⁸ I commit to you this charge, Timothy, my child, according to the prophecies going before as to you, that by them you might wage the good warfare,

² To Timothy, my beloved child: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

¹ You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

⁴ To Titus, my true child according to our common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.

² according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctification of the Spirit unto the obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: May grace and peace be multiplied to you.

¹⁹ Now they came to Ephesus, and left them there. And he himself having entered into the synagogue, reasoned with the Jews.

¹ Now it came to pass, while Apollos was in Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper parts to come to Ephesus, and having found certain disciples, ² he also said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit, having believed?” And they said to him, “But not even did we hear that there is a Holy Spirit.” ³ And he said, “Into what then were you baptized?” And they said, “Into the baptism of John.” ⁴ Then Paul said, “John baptized a baptism of repentance, telling the people that they should believe in the One coming after him, that is, in Jesus.” ⁵ And having heard, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. ⁶ And of Paul having laid the hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they were speaking in tongues and prophesying. ⁷ And there were in all about twelve men. ⁸ And having entered into the synagogue, he was speaking boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading them concerning the kingdom of God. ⁹ But when some were hardened and were disbelieving, speaking evil of the Way before the multitude, having departed from them, he took the disciples separately, reasoning every day in the lecture hall of Tyrannus. ¹⁰ And this continued for two years, so that all those inhabiting Asia heard the word of the Lord, both Jews and Greeks.

¹ Now after the uproar had ceased, Paul, having summoned the disciples and having encouraged them and having said farewell, departed to go to Macedonia. ² And having passed through those districts and having exhorted them with much talk, he came to Greece. ³ And having continued three months, a plot having been made against him by the Jews, he being about to sail into Syria, a purpose arose to return through Macedonia.

⁶ I am amazed that so quickly you are deserting from the One having called you in the grace of Christ to another gospel, ⁷ which is not another, except there are some who are troubling you and are desiring to pervert the gospel of Christ.

¹⁴ so that no longer we might be infants, being tossed by waves and being carried about by every wind of teaching in the cunning, in the craftiness of men with a view to the scheming of deceit.

²⁴ And I am persuaded in the Lord that I myself will also come soon.

⁶ Therefore, just as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in Him, ⁷ having been rooted and being built up in Him, and being strengthened in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding with thanksgiving. ⁸ Take heed lest there will be anyone taking you captive through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the principles of the world and not according to Christ. ⁹ For in Him all the fullness of the Deity dwells bodily. ¹⁰ And you are complete in Him, who is the head of all rule and authority, ¹¹ in whom also you were circumcised with the circumcision made without hands in the removal of the body of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ,

⁶ Laying before the brothers these things, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, being nourished in the words of the faith, and of the good teaching that you have closely followed.

¹¹ Command and teach these things.

⁷ Also command these things, so that they should be above reproach.

³ If anyone teaches another doctrine and does not draw near, being sound in the words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching according to godliness,

¹⁰ For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils, which some, stretching after, have been seduced away from the faith and have pierced themselves with many sorrows.

¹⁷ Instruct the rich in the present age not to be high-minded, nor to have hope in the uncertainty of riches, but on God, the One richly providing us all things for enjoyment;

⁹ holding to the faithful word according to the teaching, that he may be able both to encourage with sound teaching and to convict those contradicting it. ¹⁰ For there are also many insubordinate, empty talkers, and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, ¹¹ whom it is necessary to silence, who overthrow whole households, teaching things that they ought not for the sake of base gain.

⁷ For many deceivers have entered into the world, those not confessing Jesus Christ coming in flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.

⁹ Anyone going on ahead, and not abiding in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. The one abiding in the teaching, this one has both the Father and the Son. ¹⁰ If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into the house, and do not tell him to rejoice.

¹ To the messenger of the church in Ephesus write: These things says the One holding the seven stars in His right hand, walking in the midst of the seven golden lampstands. ² I know your works and your labor and endurance, and that you are not able to tolerate evil ones. And you have tested those claiming to be apostles and are not, and you have found them false.

¹⁴ But I have a few things against you, because you have some there holding the teaching of Balaam, who would teach Balak to cast a snare before the sons of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.

²⁰ But I have against you that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, the one calling herself a prophetess and teaching and misleading My servants to commit sexual immorality and to eat things sacrificed to idols.

¹² For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you, in the purity and sincerity of God, and not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God.

⁹ Now I rejoice, not that you were grieved, but that you were grieved into repentance. For you were grieved according to God, so that you might suffer loss in nothing through us. ¹⁰ For grief according to God produces repentance to salvation without regret; but the world’s grief produces death.

¹² toward the perfecting of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ, ¹³ until we all may attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a complete man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, ¹⁴ so that no longer we might be infants, being tossed by waves and being carried about by every wind of teaching in the cunning, in the craftiness of men with a view to the scheming of deceit. ¹⁵ But speaking the truth in love, we should grow up in all things into Him who is the head, Christ, ¹⁶ from whom the whole body, being joined together and being held together by every ligament of its supply, according to the working in the measure of each individual part, the increase of the body makes for itself, to the building up of itself in love.

¹⁶ And confessedly, great is the mystery of godliness: Who was revealed in the flesh, was justified in the Spirit, was seen by angels, was proclaimed among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.

⁷ But refuse profane and silly fables. Rather, train yourself to godliness.

³ If anyone teaches another doctrine and does not draw near, being sound in the words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching according to godliness, ⁴ he is puffed up, knowing nothing, but unhealthy about controversies and disputes about words, out of which come envy, strife, slander, evil suspicions, ⁵ and constant frictions among men corrupted in mind and destitute of the truth, holding godliness to be a means of gain.

¹¹ But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness.

²⁰ O Timothy, guard the deposit committed to you, avoiding profane, empty babblings, and opposing arguments falsely called knowledge,

¹⁴ Remind them these things, solemnly charging them before God not to quarrel about words, for nothing profitable but to the subversion of those hearing.

¹⁶ But avoid worldly, empty babblings, for they will lead on to more ungodliness, ¹⁷ and their talk will have pasture to grow like gangrene, among whom are Hymenaeus and Philetus, ¹⁸ who have gone astray concerning the truth, asserting the resurrection already to have taken place; and they are overthrowing the faith of some.

²² Now flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those calling on the Lord out of pure a heart.

⁴ and indeed they will turn away from hearing the truth, and will be turned aside unto myths.

¹ Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of the elect of God and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness,

¹⁴ not giving heed to Jewish myths and the commandments of men turning away from the truth.

⁹ But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the Law; for they are unprofitable and worthless.

⁹ Do not be carried away by various and strange teachings; for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, in which those being devoted were not profited.

¹⁶ For we have not made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ having followed out cleverly devised fables, but having been eyewitnesses of His majesty.

⁸ Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

³⁵ The good man out of his good treasure puts forth good things, and the evil man out of his evil treasure puts forth evil things.

²⁸ And one of the scribes having come up, having heard them reasoning together, having seen that He answered them well, questioned Him, “Which commandment is the first of all?” ²⁹ Jesus answered, “The foremost is, ‘Hear this O Israel: The Lord our God is One Lord, ³⁰ and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ ³¹ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is not another commandment greater than these.” ³² And the scribe said to Him, “Right, Teacher. You have spoken according to truth that He is One, and there is not another besides Him, ³³ and to love Him with all the heart and with all the understanding and with all the strength, and to love the neighbor as oneself is more important than all the burnt offerings and sacrifices.” ³⁴ And Jesus, having seen him that he answered wisely, said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” And no one dared to question Him any longer.

⁹ And He made no distinction between both us and them, having purified their hearts by the faith.

¹ And having looked intently at the Council, Paul said, “Men, brothers, I have lived as a citizen in all good conscience to God unto this day.”

¹⁶ In this also I myself strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men through everything.

¹ I speak the truth in Christ. I am not lying. My conscience testifies for me in the Holy Spirit

⁴ For the end of Law is Christ, unto righteousness to everyone believing.

⁸ Owe nothing to anyone, except to love one another; for the one loving the other has fulfilled the Law. ⁹ For, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this word, in, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” ¹⁰ Love does not do evil to its neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the Law.

¹⁵ For if on account of food your brother is grieved, no longer are you walking according to love. Do not destroy with food that one of you for whom Christ died.

¹ Now concerning the things sacrificed to idols, we know indeed we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up. ² If anyone thinks to have known anything, not yet does he know as it is necessary to know. ³ But if anyone loves God, he is known by Him.

¹ If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become a sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.

¹ Earnestly pursue love, and earnestly desire spiritual gifts, and especially that you might prophesy.

⁶ For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any power, but only faith working through love.

¹³ For you brothers were called to freedom, but not the freedom for an opportunity to the flesh. Rather, serve one another through love. ¹⁴ For the entire Law is fulfilled in in this one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

¹⁹ holding faith and a good conscience, which some, having cast away, have caused a shipwreck concerning the faith,

⁹ holding to the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience.

³ I am thankful to God, whom I serve from my forefathers with a pure conscience, as I have the remembrance of you unceasingly in my prayers, night and day,

⁵ having taken remembrance of the sincere faith within you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded that it is in you also.

¹⁵ To the pure all things are pure; but to those being defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure. Instead, both their mind and conscience are defiled.

¹⁴ how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God, purify our conscience from dead works, in order to serve the living God!

²² we should draw near with a sincere heart, in full assurance of faith, our hearts having been sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our body having been washed with pure water.

⁵ By faith Enoch was translated not to see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him up. For before the translation, he was commended to have pleased God. ⁶ And without faith, it is impossible to please Him. For it behooves the one drawing near to God to believe that He exists and that He becomes a rewarder to those earnestly seeking Him out.

¹⁸ Pray for us, for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience, desiring to conduct ourselves well in all things.

⁸ Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and have purified hearts, you double-minded.

²² Having purified your souls in obedience to the truth unto sincere brotherly love, love one another fervently, out of a pure heart,

¹⁶ having a good conscience, so that in the case that they might speak against you, those reviling your good manner of life in Christ, they shall be ashamed.

²¹ which also prefigures the baptism now saving you, not a putting away of the filth of flesh, but the demand of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

⁸ above all things, having fervent love among yourselves, because love covers over a multitude of sins,

⁷ and into godliness brotherly affection, and into brotherly affection love.

³ And everyone having this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

²³ And this is His commandment, that we should believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and we should love one another, just as He gave the commandment to us.

⁷ Beloved, we should love one another, because love is from God; and everyone loving has been born from God and knows God. ⁸ The one not loving has not known God, because God is love. ⁹ In this the love of God has been revealed among us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, so that we might live through Him. ¹⁰ In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son as a propitiation for our sins. ¹¹ Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. ¹² No one has seen God at any time; if we should love one another, God abides in us, and His love is having been perfected in us. ¹³ By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us: because He has given to us from out of His Spirit. ¹⁴ And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.

¹⁵ For already some have turned aside after Satan.

²⁰ O Timothy, guard the deposit committed to you, avoiding profane, empty babblings, and opposing arguments falsely called knowledge, ²¹ which some professing, have gone astray from the faith. Grace be with you all.

¹⁸ who have gone astray concerning the truth, asserting the resurrection already to have taken place; and they are overthrowing the faith of some.

²³ And refuse foolish and ignorant speculations, knowing that they breed quarrels. ²⁴ And it behooves the bond-servant of the Lord not to quarrel, but to be gentle toward all, able to teach, forbearing,

¹⁰ for Demas has deserted me, having loved the present age, and he has gone to Thessalonica, Crescens to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia.

¹⁰ For there are also many insubordinate, empty talkers, and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision,

¹⁴ Leave them! They are blind guides of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.”

²⁷ And answering Jesus, they said “We do not know.” And He said to them, “Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.

¹⁶ Woe to you, blind guides, those saying, ‘Whoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever shall swear by the gold of the temple is bound by his oath.’ ¹⁷ Foolish and blind! For which is greater, the gold, or the temple having sanctified the gold? ¹⁸ And you say, ‘Whoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever shall swear by the gift that is upon it is bound by his oath.’ ¹⁹ Blind! For which is greater, the gift, or the altar sanctifying the gift? ²⁰ Therefore the one having sworn by the altar swears by it and by all things that are upon it. ²¹ And the one having sworn by the temple swears by it and by the One dwelling in it. ²² And the one having sworn by heaven swears by the throne of God and by the One sitting upon it. ²³ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithes of mint and dill and cumin, and you have neglected the weightier things of the Law: justice and mercy and faithfulness. It behooved you to do these, and not to be leaving aside those. ²⁴ Blind guides—those straining out the gnat and swallowing the camel!

⁹ Nicodemus answered and said to Him, “How are these things able to be?” ¹⁰ Jesus answered and said to him, “You are the teacher of Israel, and do you not know these things?

⁴⁰ Some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these things, and they said to Him, “Are we also blind?” ⁴¹ Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin. But since you say, ‘We see,’ your sin remains.”

¹ But certain ones having come down from Judea were teaching the brothers, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you are not able to be saved.”

²² Professing to be wise, they became fools,

¹⁹ and you are persuaded that you yourself are a guide of the blind, a light to those in darkness, ²⁰ an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of infants, having in the Law the embodiment of knowledge and of the truth— ²¹ then you teaching another, do you do not teach yourself? You preaching not to steal, do you steal?

² I wish only to learn this from you: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the Law or by hearing of faith?

⁵ Therefore, the One supplying to you the Spirit and working miracles among you, is it out of works of the Law, or out of hearing of faith?

²¹ Tell me, those wishing to be under the Law, do you do not listen to the Law?

³ Now again I testify to every man receiving circumcision that he is a debtor to keep the whole Law. ⁴ Whoever are being justified in the Law, you are severed from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.

⁴ he is puffed up, knowing nothing, but unhealthy about controversies and disputes about words, out of which come envy, strife, slander, evil suspicions,

⁷ always learning and never being able to come to a knowledge of the truth.

¹² But these, like irrational animals, having been born as creatures of instinct for capture and destruction, blaspheming in what they are ignorant of, in their destruction also will be destroyed,

¹² So indeed, the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good. ¹³ Has that which is good then become death to me? Never may it be! But in order that sin might be shown to be sin, it is working out death through that which is good to me, so that through the commandment sin might become sinful beyond excess.

¹⁶ Now if that which I do not want, this I do, I consent to the Law, that it is good.

¹⁸ For I know that there dwells in me nothing good, that is, in my flesh. For to will is present with me, but not to do good.

²² For I delight in the Law of God according to the inward man;

² And do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind, for you to prove what is the good and well-pleasing and perfect will of God.

²¹ Is the Law therefore contrary to the promises of God? Never may it be! For if a law had been given being able to impart life, then righteousness indeed would have emerged from out of the Law.

⁵ Now also, if anyone competes, he is not crowned unless he shall have competed lawfully.

²¹ And brother will deliver up brother to death, and father, child; and children will rise up against parents and will put them to death.

³⁰ slanderers, hateful to God, insolent, arrogant, boastful; inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents;

¹³ For the promise was to Abraham or his descendants that he should be heir of the world, not through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith.

²⁰ Now the Law entered so that trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace overabounded,

¹⁴ For sin will not rule over you, for you are not under law, but under grace.

¹⁰ For as many as are of works of the Law are under a curse, for it has been written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue all things having been written in the book of the Law, to do them.” ¹¹ Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, because “The righteous will live by faith.” ¹² But the Law is not of faith. Rather, “The one having done these things will live by them.” ¹³ Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it has been written: “Cursed is everyone hanging on a tree”— ¹⁴ so that the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, so that through faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

¹⁹ Why then the Law? It was added on account of transgressions, until the seed to whom promise has been made should have come, having been ordained through angels in the hand of a mediator.

²¹ envyings, drunkennesses, carousing, and things like these, as to which I forewarn you, even as I warned before, that those doing such things will not inherit God’s kingdom.

²³ gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.

⁸ And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will consume with the breath of His mouth and will annul by the appearing of His coming,

¹⁶ They profess to know God, but in their works they deny Him, being detestable and disobedient and unfit for any good work.

³ For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, being deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another.

³¹ By faith Rahab the prostitute did not perish with those having disobeyed, having received the spies with peace.

¹⁶ lest there be any fornicator or profane person, as Esau, who for one meal sold his birthright.

⁷ Therefore the preciousness is to you believing. But to those disobeying, “The stone which those building have rejected, this has become into the head of the corner,”

²⁰ at one time having disobeyed, when the longsuffering of God was waiting in the days of Noah, of the ark being prepared, in which a few—that is, eight souls—were saved through water,

¹⁸ And, “If the righteous one is saved with difficulty, where will appear the ungodly and sinner?”

⁸ But to the cowardly and unbelieving and having become abominable and murderers and the sexually immoral and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their portion is in the lake burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

¹⁵ Outside are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the sexually immoral, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and everyone loving and practicing falsehood.

³³ Again, you have heard that it was said to the ancients, ‘You shall not swear falsely, but you shall keep your oaths to the Lord.’ ³⁴ But I say to you not to swear at all: neither by heaven, because it is the throne of God; ³⁵ nor by the earth, because it is the footstool of His feet; nor by Jerusalem, because it is the city of the great King. ³⁶ Neither shall you swear by your head, because you are not able to make one hair white or black. ³⁷ But let your statement ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and ‘No,’ ‘No.’ Anything more than these comes from evil.

²¹ For from within the heart of men go forth evil thoughts, sexual immorality, thefts, murders, adulteries, ²² covetous desires, wickednesses, deceit, sensuality, an evil eye, slander, pride, foolishness.

⁴⁴ You are of your father the devil, and you desire to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. Whenever he might speak falsehood, he speaks from the own; for he is a liar, and the father of it.

²⁶ Because of this, God gave up them to passions of dishonor. For even their females changed the natural use into that contrary to nature.

⁹ Or do you not know that the unrighteous ones will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, ¹⁰ nor thieves, nor coveters, not drunkards, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.

¹⁹ Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, ²⁰ idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, contentions, dissensions, factions, ²¹ envyings, drunkennesses, carousing, and things like these, as to which I forewarn you, even as I warned before, that those doing such things will not inherit God’s kingdom.

³ But let sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness not even be named among you, as also is proper to saints, ⁴ and filthiness, and foolish talking, or crude joking, which are not fitting, but rather thanksgiving. ⁵ For this you know, realizing that any fornicator, or unclean person, or covetous man, who is an idolater, has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. ⁶ Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

¹³ Retain the pattern of sound words, which you have heard from me, in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

³ For there will be a time when they will not endure sound teaching, but according to the own desires, having an itching ear, they will gather around them teachers to suit themselves,

⁹ holding to the faithful word according to the teaching, that he may be able both to encourage with sound teaching and to convict those contradicting it.

¹³ This testimony is true, for which cause rebuke them severely, so that they may be sound in the faith,

¹ But you, speak the things that are consistent with the sound doctrine. ² The aged men are to be sober-minded, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love, in endurance;

⁴ Let marriage be honorable in all, and the marriage bed undefiled; for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.

⁷ just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, having indulged in sexual immorality and having gone after strange flesh, in like manner with them are set forth as an example, undergoing the penalty of eternal fire.

¹³ and cinnamon, and spice, and incense, and myrrh, and frankincense; and wine, and oil, and finest flour, and wheat; and cattle, and sheep, and of horses, and of chariots; and of slaves and souls of men.

²⁷ And anything defiling, and those practicing abomination and a lie, never shall enter into it; only those having been written in the Lamb’s book of life.

¹⁰ And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring good news to you of great joy, which will be to all the people. ¹¹ For today in the City of David a Savior has been born to you, who is Christ the Lord.

¹⁴ “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased!”

¹⁶ on that day when God will judge the secrets of men according to my gospel, by Christ Jesus.

¹ So let a man regard us as servants of Christ and stewards of God’s mysteries. ² In this case, moreover, it is required in the stewards, that one shall be found faithful.

⁸ how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more in glory? ⁹ For if glory was in the ministry of condemnation, much more does the ministry of righteousness abound in glory! ¹⁰ For even that having been made glorious has not been glorified in this respect, on account of the glory surpassing it. ¹¹ For if that which is fading away was through glory, much more is that remaining in glory!

⁴ in whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so as for not to beam forth the illumination of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

⁶ For it is God, having said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” who shone in our hearts for the radiance of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

¹⁸ Now all things are of God, the One having reconciled us to Himself through Christ, and having given to us the ministry of reconciliation: ¹⁹ how that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not reckoning their trespasses to them, and having put into us the word of reconciliation. ²⁰ Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God is beseeching through us. We implore on behalf of Christ: Be reconciled to God.

⁷ But on the contrary, having seen that I have been entrusted with the gospel of the uncircumcision just as Peter of the circumcision—

⁶ to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He has freely given us in the Beloved One,

¹² for us, the ones having first trusted in Christ, to be to the praise of His glory,

⁷ in order that in the coming ages He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

¹⁰ so that now through the church the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms,

²⁵ of which I became a minister according to the administration of God having been given me toward you, to complete the word of God,

⁴ but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God, the One examining our hearts.

¹⁵ which He will display in the own seasons, blessed and alone Sovereign, the King of those being kings, and the Lord of those being lords,

¹¹ to which I was appointed a herald, and an apostle, and a teacher.

¹⁴ Keep the good deposit entrusted to you by the Holy Spirit, the One dwelling in us.

² And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be competent to teach others also.

¹¹ inquiring into what or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ in them was signifying, testifying beforehand of the sufferings of Christ and the glories after these, ¹² to whom it was revealed that they were serving not themselves, but you, in those things which now have been proclaimed to you by those having proclaimed the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit having been sent from heaven, into which angels desire to look.

²³ so that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He who is not honoring the Son is not honoring the Father, the One having sent Him.

²² But Saul was empowered all the more and kept confounding the Jews dwelling in Damascus, proving that this is the Christ.

¹⁵ And when she was baptized, and her house, she begged, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, having entered into my house, abide.” And she persuaded us.

²⁵ Now concerning virgins, I do not have a commandment of the Lord, but I give judgment as having received mercy from the Lord to be trustworthy.

¹⁰ But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me has not been void. Rather, I toiled more abundantly than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

⁵ Not that we are sufficient from ourselves to reckon anything as of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God, ⁶ who also has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

¹ Because of this, having this ministry, as we received mercy, we do not lose heart.

⁹ And He said to me, “My grace suffices you, for the power is perfected in weakness.” Therefore will I boast rather most gladly in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. ¹⁰ Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, and difficulties for Christ; for when I might be weak, then I am strong.

¹¹ and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

¹³ I have strength for all things in the One strengthening me.

¹¹ according to the gospel of the glory of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted.

¹⁷ But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation would be fully accomplished, and all the Gentiles should hear. And I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

⁹ And they are singing a new song, saying, “Worthy are You to take the scroll and to open its seals, because You were slain, and You purchased to God by Your blood, out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, ¹⁰ and You have made them a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth.” ¹¹ And I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, and of the living creatures, and of the elders; and their number was myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, ¹² saying in a loud voice: “Worthy is the Lamb having been slain, to receive the power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing!” ¹³ And I heard every creature which is in heaven, and upon the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and everything in them, saying: “To the One sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb, blessing and honor and glory and might to the ages of the ages.” ¹⁴ And the four living creatures kept saying, “Amen.” And the elders fell down and worshiped.

¹⁰ And they were crying out in a loud voice, saying: “Salvation to our God, the One sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb!” ¹¹ And all the angels stood around the throne, and the elders, and the four living creatures, and they fell upon their faces before the throne and worshiped God, ¹² saying, “Amen! Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and strength, to our God, to the ages of the ages! Amen.”

⁴⁷ Now that servant, the one having known the will of his master, and not having prepared nor having done according to his will, will be beaten with many blows.

³⁴ And Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they cast lots, dividing His garments.

³⁹ And Jesus said, “For judgment I came into this world, that those not seeing may see, and those seeing may become blind.”

¹⁷ And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your rulers also.

³ But Saul was destroying the church. Entering houses after houses and dragging off men and women, he was delivering them to prison.

¹ Meanwhile, Saul still breathing out threats and murder toward the disciples of the Lord, having gone to the high priest,

⁵ And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” And He said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.

¹³ But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many concerning this man, how many evils he did to Your saints in Jerusalem.

⁴ who persecuted this Way as far as death, binding and betraying to prisons both men and women,

⁹ Therefore I indeed in myself thought I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth, ¹⁰ which also I did in Jerusalem. And I also locked up many of the saints in prisons, having received the authority from the chief priests; and they being put to death, I cast against them a vote. ¹¹ And in all the synagogues, punishing them often, I was compelling them to blaspheme. And being exceedingly furious against them, I kept persecuting them even as far as to foreign cities,

²⁰ Now the Law entered so that trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace overabounded, ²¹ so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness, unto eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

³⁰ For just as you once were disobedient to God, but now have been shown mercy by the disobedience of these, ³¹ so these also now have been disobedient for your mercy, so that they also now may have mercy shown them.

⁹ For I am the least of the apostles, who am not fit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

¹³ For you have heard of my former way of life in Judaism, that beyond exceeding measure I was persecuting the church of God and was destroying it.

⁶ according to zeal, persecuting the church; according to righteousness in the Law, having become faultless.

¹⁶ But because of this I was shown mercy, that in me, the foremost, Christ Jesus might display perfect patience, as a pattern for those being about to believe on Him to eternal life.

¹⁶ Therefore we should come with boldness to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need.

⁴ For it is impossible for those once having been enlightened, and having tasted of the heavenly gift, and having become partakers of the Holy Spirit, ⁵ and having tasted the goodness of God’s word and the power of the coming age— ⁶ and then having fallen away—to restore them again to repentance, crucifying in themselves the Son of God and subjecting Him to open shame. ⁷ For land having drunk in the rain coming often upon it and producing vegetation useful for those for the sake of whom also it is tilled, partakes of blessing from God. ⁸ But that bringing forth thorns and thistles is worthless and near to a curse, of which the end is unto burning.

²⁶ For if we sin willingly after we are to receive the knowledge of the truth, no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, ²⁷ but a certain terrifying expectation of judgment and fury of fire being about to devour the adversaries. ²⁸ Anyone having set aside the Law of Moses dies without mercies on the basis of two or three witnesses. ²⁹ How much worse punishment do you think will he deserve, the one having trampled upon the Son of God, and having esteemed ordinary the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and having insulted the Spirit of grace?

¹⁰ who once were not a people, but now are the people of God; those not having received mercy, but now having received mercy.

²¹ For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to have turned from the holy commandment having been delivered to them. ²² The thing true of the proverb has happened to them: “A dog having returned to its own vomit,” and, “A sow having washed, to her rolling place in the mire.”

⁴⁷ Therefore I say to you this: Her many sins have been forgiven, for she loved much; but to whom little is forgiven, he loves little.” ⁴⁸ And He said to her, “Your sins have been forgiven.” ⁴⁹ And those reclining began to say within themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?” ⁵⁰ And He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

¹¹ But we believe ourselves to be saved by the grace of the Lord Jesus, in the same manner as they also are.”

¹⁵ But so also the gift is not like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one, the many died, how much more did the grace of God and the gift in grace, which is of the one man Jesus Christ, abound to the many! ¹⁶ And the gift is not as through one having sinned. For truly the judgment from one was unto condemnation; but the gift is out of many trespasses unto justification. ¹⁷ For if, by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one, how much more will those receiving the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ! ¹⁸ So then, just as through one trespass, it is unto condemnation to all men, so also through one act of righteousness it is unto justification of life to all men. ¹⁹ For as indeed through the disobedience of the one man, the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the One, the many will be made righteous. ²⁰ Now the Law entered so that trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace overabounded,

²⁰ And in a short time the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

⁹ For you know the grace our Lord Jesus Christ, that being rich, for the sake of you He became poor, so that you through His poverty might be enriched.

¹⁴ The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with all of you.

⁷ in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of trespasses, according to the riches of His grace ⁸ which He lavished upon us in all wisdom and understanding,

³ remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and unceasing labor of love, and the endurance of the hope of our Lord Jesus Christ,

⁸ But we being of the day should be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and the helmet, the hope of salvation,

¹⁰ In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son as a propitiation for our sins.

²¹ The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints. Amen.

²¹ And she will bring forth a son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

¹³ But having gone, learn what is, ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”

¹⁰ See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I say to you that their angels in the heavens continually behold the face of my Father, who is in the heavens.

²⁸ even as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

¹⁷ And Jesus having heard, says to them, “Those being strong have no need of a physician, but those being sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

³² I have not come to call righteous ones, but sinners, to repentance.”

¹⁰ For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that having been lost.”

¹² But as many as received Him, He gave to them authority to be children of God—to those believing in His name,

²⁹ On the next day, he sees Jesus coming to him and says, “Behold the Lamb of God, the One taking away the sin of the world.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world that He gave the only begotten Son, so that everyone believing in Him should not perish, but should have eternal life. ¹⁷ For God did not send His Son into the world that He might judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

³⁶ The one believing in the Son has eternal life, but the one not obeying the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

⁴⁷ And if anyone hears My words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come that I might judge the world, but that I might save the world.

²⁶ God, having raised up His servant, sent Him first to you, blessing you in turning away each of you from your wickednesses.”

¹ Now the apostles and the brothers being in Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God.

¹⁸ And having heard these things, they were silent and glorified God, saying, “Then indeed God has given also to the Gentiles repentance unto life.”

²⁴ being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, ²⁵ whom God set forth as a propitiation through faith in His blood, for a showing forth of His righteousness, because of the forbearance of the sins having taken place beforehand, ²⁶ in the forbearance of God, for the showing forth of His righteousness in the present time, for Him to be just, and justifying the one of the faith of Jesus.

⁶ Yet indeed Christ, of us still being without strength, according to the right time, died for the ungodly.

⁸ But God demonstrates His love to us, that of us being still sinners, Christ died for us. ⁹ Therefore much more, having been justified now by His blood, we will be saved by Him from wrath! ¹⁰ For if, being enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved in His life!

⁸ To me, the very least of all saints, was given this grace: to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ

¹³ being formerly a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and insolent; but I was shown mercy, because I did it in unbelief, being ignorant.

¹ Trustworthy is the saying: If anyone aspires to overseership, he is desirous of a good work.

⁹ Trustworthy is the saying, and worthy of full acceptance.

¹¹ Trustworthy is the saying: For if we have died together with Him, we will also live together with Him;

⁸ Trustworthy is the saying, and I want you to affirm strongly concerning these things, so that those believing God may take care to be devoted to good works. These things are excellent and profitable to men.

²⁵ wherefore also He is able to save to the uttermost those drawing near to God through Him, always living for to intercede for them.

⁵ And you know that He appeared, so that He might take away sins; and in Him there is no sin.

⁸ The one practicing sin is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. For this reason the Son of God was revealed, so that He might destroy the works of the devil.

⁹ In this the love of God has been revealed among us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, so that we might live through Him. ¹⁰ In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son as a propitiation for our sins.

¹¹ And this is the testimony: that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

⁹ And they are singing a new song, saying, “Worthy are You to take the scroll and to open its seals, because You were slain, and You purchased to God by Your blood, out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,

⁵ And the One sitting on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He says, “Write this, because these words are faithful and true.”

⁶ And he said to me, “These words are faithful and true. And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent His angel to show His servants the things that must come to pass in quickness.”

⁴⁷ Therefore I say to you this: Her many sins have been forgiven, for she loved much; but to whom little is forgiven, he loves little.”

¹⁰ Thus I say to you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner repenting.”

¹³ But the tax collector, standing afar off, was not even willing to lift up the eyes to heaven, but was striking his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, the sinner!’ ¹⁴ I say to you, this one went down to his house justified, rather than that. For everyone exalting himself will be humbled; but the one humbling himself will be exalted.”

⁷ And having seen it, all were grumbling, saying, “He has entered to stay with a sinful man.” ⁸ And Zacchaeus having stood, said to the Lord, “Behold, half of my possessions, Lord, I give to the poor; and if I have defrauded anything of anyone, I restore it fourfold.” ⁹ And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham.

⁴³ And He said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

¹⁵ so that everyone believing in Him may have eternal life. ¹⁶ For God so loved the world that He gave the only begotten Son, so that everyone believing in Him should not perish, but should have eternal life.

²⁴ Truly, truly, I say to you that the one hearing My word and believing the One having sent Me, he has eternal life and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

³⁷ All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one coming to Me, I shall not cast out.

⁴⁰ For this is the will of My Father, that everyone beholding the Son and believing in Him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up in the last day.”

⁵⁴ The one eating My flesh and drinking My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up in the last day.

³¹ But these have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing, you may have life in His name.

³⁹ And in Him everyone believing is justified from all things from which you were not able to be justified in the Law of Moses.

⁴ Or do you despise the riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance? ⁵ But because of your hardness and unrepentant heart, you are treasuring up to yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgement of God,

²³ For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

⁴ For whatever was written in the past was all written for our instruction, so that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures, we might have hope.

¹⁰ when in that day He shall come to be glorified in His saints, and to be marveled at among all those having believed because our testimony to you was believed,

⁹ The Lord does not delay the promise, as some esteem slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but all to come to repentance.

¹⁵ And esteem the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom having been given to him,

¹¹ And this is the testimony: that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. ¹² The one having the Son has life; the one not having the Son of God does not have life.

¹³ And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.’

³⁴ Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, those being blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom having been prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

²⁰ teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And behold, I am with you all the days, until the completion of the age.”

¹⁸ No one has ever yet seen God. The only begotten God, the One being in the bosom of the Father, He has made Him known.

²⁰ For from the creation of the world His invisible qualities, both His eternal power and divinity, are clearly seen, being understood by the things made, for them to be without excuse.

²³ and they changed the glory of the immortal God into a likeness of an image of mortal man and birds and quadrupeds and creeping things.

⁷ to those who indeed with endurance in good work are seeking glory and honor and immortality, eternal life;

³⁶ For from Him and through Him and unto Him are all things. To Him be the glory to the ages! Amen.

²⁷ to the only wise God be the glory to the ages of the ages, which is through Jesus Christ. Amen.

²⁰ Now to the One being able to do exceedingly above all things that we ask or think, according to the power working in us, ²¹ to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all the generations of the age of the ages. Amen.

¹⁵ He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation,

¹⁵ which He will display in the own seasons, blessed and alone Sovereign, the King of those being kings, and the Lord of those being lords, ¹⁶ alone having immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no one of men has seen nor is able to see, to whom be honor and eternal dominion. Amen.

⁸ But unto the Son: “Your throne, O God, is to the age of the age, and the scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. ⁹ You have loved righteousness and have hated wickedness; because of this, God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of exultation above Your companions.” ¹⁰ And: “You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are works of Your hands. ¹¹ They will perish but You remain; and all will grow old like a garment; ¹² and like a robe You will roll them up, and like a garment they will be changed; but You are the same, and Your years will never end.” ¹³ Now to which of the angels did He ever say: “Sit at My right hand, until I may place Your enemies as a footstool for Your feet”?

²⁷ By faith he left Egypt, not having feared the anger of the king; for he persevered, as seeing the Invisible One.

¹¹ To Him be the power to the ages of the ages. Amen.

¹⁸ But grow in grace and in knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

¹² No one has seen God at any time; if we should love one another, God abides in us, and His love is having been perfected in us.

⁸ And the four living creatures, each of them had six wings respectively, full of eyes all around and within; and they did not have rest day and night, saying: “Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty, the One having been, and the One being, and the One coming.” ⁹ And whenever the living creatures will give glory and honor and thanksgiving to the One sitting upon the throne, the One living to the ages of the ages, ¹⁰ the twenty-four elders will fall before the One sitting upon the throne, and they will worship the One living to the ages of the ages, and they will cast their crowns before the throne, saying: ¹¹ “Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will, they existed and were created.”

¹² saying, “Amen! Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and strength, to our God, to the ages of the ages! Amen.”

³ And they are singing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and wonderful are Your works, Lord God the Almighty! Righteous and true are Your ways, O King of the nations!

¹⁴ These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those with Him are called and chosen and faithful.”

¹ After these things I heard something like a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, crying out: “Hallelujah! The salvation and the glory and the power to our God!

⁶ And I heard something like the voice of a great multitude, and like the sound of many waters, and like a sound of mighty thunders, saying: “Hallelujah! For the Lord God our Almighty has reigned.

¹⁶ And He has a name having been written upon the robe and upon His thigh: King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

³ For walking in flesh, we do not wage war according to flesh. ⁴ For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but divinely powerful toward the demolition of strongholds,

¹² because to us the wrestling is not against blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. ¹³ Because of this, take up the complete armor of God, so that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all things, to stand. ¹⁴ Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, ¹⁵ and having shod the feet with the readiness of the gospel of peace; ¹⁶ besides all, having taken up the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one. ¹⁷ And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, ¹⁸ through all prayer and supplication, praying in the Spirit in every season and unto this very thing, watching with all perseverance and supplication for all saints,

²² But you know his proven worth, that as a child with a father he has served with me in the gospel.

² To Timothy, my true child in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God our Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

¹¹ according to the gospel of the glory of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted. ¹² I have thankfulness for the One having strengthened me, Christ Jesus our Lord, that He esteemed me faithful, having appointed me to service,

⁴ For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, being received with thanksgiving,

¹⁴ Do not be negligent of the gift in you, which was given to you through prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the elderhood.

¹² Fight the good fight of the faith. Lay hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and also did confess the good confession before many witnesses. ¹³ I charge you before God, the One giving life to all things, and Christ Jesus, the One having testified the good confession before Pontius Pilate, ¹⁴ for you to keep the commandment, without stain, above reproach, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,

¹ You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. ² And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be competent to teach others also. ³ Share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. ⁴ No one serving as a soldier entangles himself in the affairs of this life, that he might please the one having enlisted him. ⁵ Now also, if anyone competes, he is not crowned unless he shall have competed lawfully.

¹ I earnestly declare before God and Christ Jesus, the One being about to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: ² Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; convict, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and instruction. ³ For there will be a time when they will not endure sound teaching, but according to the own desires, having an itching ear, they will gather around them teachers to suit themselves,

⁷ I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

¹⁰ I exhort you for my child whom I have begotten in chains, Onesimus,

²⁷ And who of you by worrying is able to add one cubit to his stature?

¹⁹ For also it behooves there to be factions among you, so that also the approved should become evident among you.

⁶ I am amazed that so quickly you are deserting from the One having called you in the grace of Christ to another gospel, ⁷ which is not another, except there are some who are troubling you and are desiring to pervert the gospel of Christ. ⁸ But even if we or an angel out of heaven should preach a gospel to you contrary to what we proclaimed to you, let him be accursed!

⁴ Whoever are being justified in the Law, you are severed from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.

¹⁸ For many are walking—of whom I have told you often and now I say even weeping—as enemies of the cross of Christ, ¹⁹ whose end is destruction, whose God is the belly and glory is in their shame, those minding earthly things.

⁵ Now the goal of our instruction is love out of a pure heart, and a good conscience, and a sincere faith,

¹ But the Spirit expressly states that in later times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, ² in the hypocrisy of liars, having been seared in the own conscience,

⁹ But those desiring to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and many foolish and harmful desires, which plunge men into ruin and destruction.

²¹ which some professing, have gone astray from the faith. Grace be with you all.

¹ But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will be present. ² For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boasters, proud, verbally abusive, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, ³ unloving, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, savage, haters of good, ⁴ betrayers, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, ⁵ having a form of godliness but denying its power. And turn away from these. ⁶ For out of this sort are those entering into households and taking captive weak women, burdened with sins, being led away by various passions,

¹⁴ For we have become partakers of Christ, if indeed we should hold firm unto the end the assurance from the beginning.

⁴ For it is impossible for those once having been enlightened, and having tasted of the heavenly gift, and having become partakers of the Holy Spirit, ⁵ and having tasted the goodness of God’s word and the power of the coming age— ⁶ and then having fallen away—to restore them again to repentance, crucifying in themselves the Son of God and subjecting Him to open shame.

¹⁵ But in your hearts sanctify Christ as Lord, always ready for a defense to everyone asking you an account concerning the hope in you; yet with gentleness and fear, ¹⁶ having a good conscience, so that in the case that they might speak against you, those reviling your good manner of life in Christ, they shall be ashamed.

¹ But there were also false prophets among the people, as there will be false teachers among you also, who will stealthily introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master having bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. ² And many will follow after their sensuality, through whom the way of the truth will be maligned. ³ And through covetousness they will exploit you with fabricated words, for whom the judgment of long ago is not idle, and their destruction does not slumber.

¹² But these, like irrational animals, having been born as creatures of instinct for capture and destruction, blaspheming in what they are ignorant of, in their destruction also will be destroyed, ¹³ suffering wrong as the wage of unrighteousness; esteeming carousal in daytime as pleasure; blots and blemishes, reveling in their deceptions, feasting with you; ¹⁴ having eyes full of adultery, and unceasing from sin; enticing unestablished souls; having a heart having been exercised in craving—children of a curse! ¹⁵ Having forsaken the straight way, they have gone astray, having followed in the way of Balaam son of Bosor, who loved the wage of unrighteousness. ¹⁶ But he had reproof for his own transgression by a mute donkey; having spoken in a man’s voice, it restrained the madness of the prophet. ¹⁷ These are springs without water and mists being driven by storm, for whom gloom of darkness has been reserved. ¹⁸ For speaking arrogant words of vanity, they entice to sensuality with the passions of the flesh those barely escaping from those living in error, ¹⁹ promising them freedom, themselves being slaves of corruption. For by what anyone has been subdued, by that also he is enslaved. ²⁰ For if, having escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, now again having been entangled in these they are subdued, the last state has become worse to them than the first.

¹⁹ They went out from among us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us. But it is so that it might be made manifest that they are not all of us.

¹⁰ But these indeed speak evil of whatever things they have not seen; and whatever things they understand naturally, as the irrational animals, in these things they corrupt themselves. ¹¹ Woe to them, because they have gone in the way of Cain, and rushed for profit to the error of Balaam, and perished in the rebellion of Korah. ¹² These are the hidden reefs, feasting together with you fearlessly in your love feasts; shepherding themselves; clouds without water, being carried about by winds; autumnal trees without fruit, twice having died, having been uprooted; ¹³ wild waves of the sea, foaming out of their own shame; wandering stars, to whom the gloom of darkness has been reserved to the age.

³ Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard—and keep it and repent. If therefore you shall not watch, I will come like a thief, and you shall not know at what hour I will come upon you.

⁸ I know your deeds. Behold, I have set before you a door having been opened, which no one is able to shut it, because you have little power, and yet you have kept My word and have not denied My name.

¹⁰ Because you have kept the word of My patient endurance, I also will keep you out of the hour of the trial being about to come upon the whole inhabited world, to try those dwelling upon the earth.

¹⁷ And if he fails to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he fails to listen to even to the church, let him be to you as the pagan and the tax collector.

⁴⁵ But the Jews, having seen the crowds, were filled with jealousy, and began contradicting the things spoken by Paul, blaspheming.

³³ Now out of the crowd they put forward Alexander, the Jews having thrust him forward. And Alexander, having motioned with the hand, was wanting to make a defense to the people.

⁴ in the name of our Lord Jesus, of you having been gathered together and of me in spirit, with the power of the Lord Jesus, ⁵ to deliver such a one to Satan for destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.

³² But being judged by the Lord, we are disciplined, so that we should not be condemned with the world.

⁶ and having readiness within to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience may have been fulfilled.

¹⁰ Therefore I write these things being absent, so that being present I should not treat you with severity according to the authority that the Lord has given me for building up and not for tearing down.

¹⁵ And yet do not esteem him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

¹⁷ and their talk will have pasture to grow like gangrene, among whom are Hymenaeus and Philetus,

² For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boasters, proud, verbally abusive, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,

¹⁴ Alexander the coppersmith did great harm to me. The Lord will render to him according to his deeds, ¹⁵ whom you also beware of, for exceedingly he has opposed our message.

¹⁹ As many as I might love, I rebuke and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent.

¹ And I saw rising out of the sea a beast, having ten horns, and seven heads, and on its horns, ten diadems, and upon its heads, names of blasphemy.

⁵ And a mouth was given to it, speaking great things and blasphemy, and it was given authority to act forty and two months. ⁶ And it opened its mouth unto blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, those dwelling in heaven.
