¹⁶ And confessedly, great is the mystery of godliness: Who was revealed in the flesh, was justified in the Spirit, was seen by angels, was proclaimed among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.

²³ “Behold, the virgin will hold in womb, and will bring forth a son, and they will call His name Immanuel” which is, being translated, “God with us.”

¹⁶ And immediately, having been baptized, Jesus went up from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and alighting upon Him.

¹¹ Then the devil leaves Him, and behold, angels came and were ministering to Him.

¹¹ And answering He said to them, “Because it has been granted to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of the heavens, but to them it has not been granted.

² And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord, having descended out of heaven and having come, rolled away the stone and was sitting upon it.

¹³ And He was in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by Satan. And He was with the wild animals, and the angels were ministering to Him.

⁵ And having entered into the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a white robe, sitting on the right; and they were greatly amazed.

¹⁹ Therefore indeed the Lord Jesus, after speaking to them, was taken up into the heaven and sat at the right hand of God.

¹⁰ And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring good news to you of great joy, which will be to all the people. ¹¹ For today in the City of David a Savior has been born to you, who is Christ the Lord. ¹² And this is the sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths, and lying in a manger.” ¹³ And suddenly there came with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying: ¹⁴ “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased!”

³² a light for revelation of the Gentiles, and glory of Your people Israel.”

⁴³ And an angel from heaven appeared to Him, strengthening Him.

⁴ And it came to pass that while they are perplexed about this, behold, two men in dazzling garments stood by them;

⁵¹ And it came to pass in His blessing them, He was separated from them and was carried up into heaven.

¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ² He was in the beginning with God.

¹⁴ And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. And we beheld His glory, a glory as of an only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

³² And John bore witness saying, “I have beheld the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and it remained upon Him. ³³ And I did not know Him; but the One having sent me to baptize with water, He said to me, ‘Upon whom you shall see the Spirit descending and abiding on Him, He is the One baptizing with the Holy Spirit.’

⁶² Then what if you should see the Son of Man ascending to where He was before?

³ knowing that the Father has given Him all things into the hands, and that He came forth from God and He is going to God,

²⁶ When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes forth from the Father, He will bear witness concerning Me.

⁸ And having come, He will convict the world concerning sin, and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment: ⁹ concerning sin indeed, because they do not believe in Me;

²⁸ I came forth from the Father and have come into the world; again I leave the world and go to the Father.”

⁵ And now glorify Me, You Father, with Yourself, with the glory that I had with You before the world existed.

¹² and she sees two angels in white sitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

¹ In the first account I composed, O Theophilus, concerning all the things that Jesus began both to do and to teach, ² until the day He was taken up, having given orders by the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom He had chosen, ³ to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering with many proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking the things concerning the kingdom of God. ⁴ And being assembled together, He instructed them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to await the promise of the Father: “That which you heard of Me; ⁵ for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days after these.” ⁶ So indeed those having come together were asking Him, saying, “Lord, at this time are you restoring the kingdom to Israel?” ⁷ And He said to them, “It is not yours to know times or seasons that the Father put in place by His own authority. ⁸ But you will receive power, the Holy Spirit having come upon you, and you will be witnesses for Me, both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost part of the earth.” ⁹ And having said these things, they beholding, He was lifted up, and a cloud hid Him from their eyes. ¹⁰ And as they were looking intently into heaven as He was going, then behold, two men in white apparel stood by them, ¹¹ who also said, “Men, Galileans, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, having been taken up from you into heaven, will thus come in that manner you beheld Him going into heaven.”

¹⁹ And it became known to all those dwelling in Jerusalem, so that that field was called in their own language Akeldama, that is, Field of Blood.)

³² This Jesus God has raised up, to which we all are witnesses. ³³ Therefore having been exalted at the right hand of God, and having received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, He has poured out this which you are both seeing and hearing. ³⁴ For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he himself says: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, ³⁵ until I place Your enemies as a footstool of Your feet.”’ ³⁶ Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made Him both Lord and Christ—this Jesus whom you crucified.”

³⁴ And Peter, having opened the mouth, said, “Of a truth I understand that God is not One who shows partiality,

⁴⁶ And Paul and Barnabas, having spoken boldly, said, “It was necessary for the word of God to be spoken first to you. But since you thrust it away and do not judge yourselves worthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles. ⁴⁷ For thus the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have set you for a light of the Gentiles, you to be for salvation to the uttermost part of the earth.’” ⁴⁸ And the Gentiles hearing it were rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed.

²⁷ Now having arrived and having gathered together the church, they began declaring all that God had done with them, and that He had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles.

²⁸ Take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has set you overseers, to shepherd the church of God, which He purchased with the own blood.

³ concerning His Son, having come of the seed of David according to flesh, ⁴ having been declared the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness, by resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord,

³ For of the Law being powerless in that it was weak through the flesh, God, having sent His Son in likeness of sin of flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh,

⁵ whose are the patriarchs; and from whom is Christ according to the flesh, being God over all, blessed to the ages. Amen.

¹² For there is no difference between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord of all is rich toward all those calling Him,

¹⁸ But I ask, did they not hear? Indeed: “Their voice has gone out into all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.”

²⁵ Now to Him being able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery having been kept secret in times of the ages,

⁷ But we speak in a mystery, the wisdom of God having been hidden, which God foreordained before the ages for our glory,

⁴⁷ The first man was made of dust from the earth, the second man from heaven.

⁸ for the One having worked in Peter for apostleship of the circumcision, did also in me toward the Gentiles—

⁴ But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, having been born of a woman, having been born under the Law,

⁹ having made known to us the mystery of His will according to His pleasure, which He purposed in Him

³ that He made known to me the mystery by revelation, just as I have written before in brief, ⁴ which, by reading, you are able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, ⁵ which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations as now it has been revealed in the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets, ⁶ that the Gentiles are joint-heirs, and a joint-body, and joint-partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus, through the gospel, ⁷ of which I became servant according to the gift of God’s grace, having been given to me according to the working of His power. ⁸ To me, the very least of all saints, was given this grace: to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ ⁹ and to enlighten all what is the administration of the mystery having been hidden from the ages in God, the One having created all things, ¹⁰ so that now through the church the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms,

⁸ Therefore it says: “Having ascended on high, He led captive captivity, and gave gifts to men.” ⁹ Now what is “He ascended,” except that He also descended into the lower regions of the earth? ¹⁰ The One having descended is also the same one having ascended above all the heavens, so that He might fill all things.

¹⁹ and also for me, that in the opening of my mouth, divine utterance may be given to me to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel,

⁶ Who, existing in the form of God, did not consider to be equal with God something to be grasped, ⁷ but emptied Himself, having taken the form of a servant, having been made in the likeness of men. ⁸ And having been found in appearance as a man He humbled Himself, having become obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

⁶ the one being present unto you, just as also in all the world it is bearing fruit and increasing, just as also among you from the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth,

¹⁶ because in Him were created all things in the heavens and upon the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or lordships or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and unto Him. ¹⁷ And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. ¹⁸ And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, firstborn out from the dead, so that He might be holding preeminence in all things,

²³ if indeed you continue in the faith, established and firm, and not being moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, having been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, of which I Paul have become a minister.

²⁷ to whom God has willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory,

² that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and to all the riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, which is Christ,

¹⁰ when in that day He shall come to be glorified in His saints, and to be marveled at among all those having believed because our testimony to you was believed,

⁷ For the mystery of lawlessness is working already; there is only the one at present restraining it, until he might be gone out of the midst.

⁹ holding to the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience.

³ who, being the radiance of His glory and the exact expression of His substance, and upholding all things by the power of His word, through having made the purification of sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

⁹ But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, because of the suffering of death, having been crowned with glory and with honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone. ¹⁰ For it was fitting to Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, having brought many sons to glory, to make perfect the author of their salvation through sufferings. ¹¹ For both the One sanctifying and those being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brothers, ¹² saying: “I will declare Your name to My brothers; in the midst of the congregation I will sing Your praises.” ¹³ And again: “I will be trusting in Him.” And again: “Behold, I and the children whom God has given Me.”

⁷ And apart from all dispute, the inferior is blessed by the superior.

¹ Now the point of the things being spoken of is that we have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens,

² looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who in view of the joy lying before Him endured the cross, having despised its shame, and sat down at right hand of the throne of God.

¹² to whom it was revealed that they were serving not themselves, but you, in those things which now have been proclaimed to you by those having proclaimed the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit having been sent from heaven, into which angels desire to look.

²⁰ having been foreknown indeed before the foundation of the world, but having been revealed in the last times for the sake of you,

¹⁸ because Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, so that He might bring you to God, having been put to death indeed in the flesh, but having been made alive in the spirit,

²² who is at the right hand of God, having gone into heaven, angels and authorities and powers having been subjected to Him.

² and the life was made manifest, and we have seen and bear witness, and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was revealed to us—

⁵ And you know that He appeared, so that He might take away sins; and in Him there is no sin.

⁶ This is the One having come by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and by blood. And the Spirit is the One testifying, because the Spirit is the truth. ⁷ For there are three bearing testimony: ⁸ the Spirit and the water and the blood—and these are three in one.

¹⁷ And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as though dead. And He placed His right hand upon me, saying, “Fear not. I am the First and the Last, ¹⁸ and the Living One. And I was dead, and behold I am living to the ages of the ages, and I have the keys of Death and of Hades.

⁹ After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no one was able to number it, out of every nation, and tribes, and peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, having been clothed with white robes, and palm branches in their hands.

⁵ And upon her forehead a name was written, a mystery: Babylon the Great, the mother of the prostitutes, and of the abominations of the earth.

⁷ And the angel said to me, “Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast carrying her, having the seven heads and the ten horns.
