¹¹ And do not have fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even expose them.

¹⁵ And if your brother sins against you, go reprove him, between you and him alone. If he will hear you, you have gained your brother.

¹⁹ But Herod the tetrarch, being reproved by him concerning Herodias the wife of his brother, and concerning all the evils that Herod had done,

¹⁹ And this is the judgement, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light; for their deeds were evil. ²⁰ For everyone practicing evil hates the Light and does not come to the Light, so that his works may not be exposed; ²¹ but the one practicing the truth comes to the Light, that his works may be manifest as having been done in God.”

²² Professing to be wise, they became fools, ²³ and they changed the glory of the immortal God into a likeness of an image of mortal man and birds and quadrupeds and creeping things. ²⁴ Therefore God gave them up in the desires of their hearts to impurity to dishonor their bodies between themselves, ²⁵ who changed the truth of God into falsehood, and reverenced and served the created thing beyond the One having created it, who is blessed to the ages! Amen. ²⁶ Because of this, God gave up them to passions of dishonor. For even their females changed the natural use into that contrary to nature. ²⁷ And likewise also the males, having left the natural use of the female, were inflamed in their desire toward one another, males with males, working out shame and receiving in themselves the recompense which was fitting of their error. ²⁸ And as they did not see fit to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a depraved mind, to do things not being proper; ²⁹ being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, malice; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness; gossips, ³⁰ slanderers, hateful to God, insolent, arrogant, boastful; inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents; ³¹ foolish, untrustworthy, heartless, unmerciful; ³² who having known the righteous judgment of God, that those doing such things are worthy of death, not only are practicing them, but are also approving of those practicing them.

²¹ What fruit, therefore, did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.

¹² The night is nearly over, and the day has drawn near; therefore we should cast off the works of darkness and should put on the armor of light.

¹⁷ Now I exhort you, brothers, to consider those causing divisions and obstacles contrary to the teaching that you have learned, and turn away from them.

⁹ I wrote to you in the letter not to associate with the sexually immoral, ¹⁰ not altogether with the sexually immoral of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or idolaters—since then you would need to depart from the world. ¹¹ But now, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone being designated a brother if he is sexually immoral or a coveter, or an idolater or verbal abuser, or a drunkard or swindler—with such a one not even to eat.

²⁰ Rather, that what the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God. And I do not want you to be fellow partakers with demons. ²¹ You are not able to drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You are not able to partake of the table of the Lord and of the table of demons.

¹⁴ Do not become unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? ¹⁵ And what harmony has Christ with Belial? Or what part to a believer is with an unbeliever? ¹⁶ And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them, and will walk among them; and I will be their God, and they will be My people.” ¹⁷ “Therefore come out from their midst and be separate, says the Lord, and touch nothing unclean, and I will receive you.” ¹⁸ and “I will be for a father to you, and you will be for sons and daughters to Me, says the Lord Almighty.”

⁸ For the one sowing to his own flesh, from the flesh will reap decay. But the one sowing to the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

²² You are to have put off, concerning the former way of life, the old man, which is being corrupted according to its desires of deceit,

⁷ Therefore do not be partakers with them.

⁷ For those sleeping, sleep by night; and those becoming drunk, get drunk by night.

⁶ Now we warn you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, you are to withdraw from every brother walking idly and not according to the tradition that you received from us.

¹⁴ And if anyone does not obey our instruction through the letter, take note of this man, not to mix with him, so that he may be ashamed.

²⁰ But those sinning, rebuke before all, so that the rest might have fear as well.

⁵ and constant frictions among men corrupted in mind and destitute of the truth, holding godliness to be a means of gain.

⁵ having a form of godliness but denying its power. And turn away from these.

² Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; convict, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and instruction.

¹⁵ Speak these things, and exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.

¹⁰ If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into the house, and do not tell him to rejoice. ¹¹ For the one telling him to rejoice partakes in his evil works.

⁴ And I heard another voice from heaven, saying: “Come out of her, my people, so that you may not have fellowship in her sins, and so that you may not receive of her plagues.
