¹ Brothers, even if a man should be caught in some trespass, you the spiritual ones restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself, lest you also be tempted. ² Bear one another’s burdens and thus you will fulfill the law of Christ. ³ For if anyone thinks himself to be something being nothing, he deceives himself. ⁴ But let each test his own work, and then he will have the ground of boasting in himself alone, and not in another. ⁵ For each shall bear his own load. ⁶ Now let the one being taught in the word share in all good things with the one teaching. ⁷ Do not be misled: God is not mocked. For whatever a man might sow, that also he will reap. ⁸ For the one sowing to his own flesh, from the flesh will reap decay. But the one sowing to the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. ⁹ And we should not grow weary in well-doing. For in due time we will reap a harvest, not giving up. ¹⁰ So then, as we have occasion, we should work good toward all, and especially toward those of the household of the faith. ¹¹ See the large letters I have written to you with my own hand! ¹² As many as desire to have a fair appearance in the flesh, these compel you to be circumcised, only that they might not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. ¹³ For not even those being circumcised keep the Law themselves, but they desire you to be circumcised so that they may boast in your flesh. ¹⁴ But for me, may it be never to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me and I to the world. ¹⁵ For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision is anything; instead, a new creation. ¹⁶ And as many as those who will walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God. ¹⁷ Henceforth, let no one give to me troubles, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus. ¹⁸ The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.

¹³ But having gone, learn what is, ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”

²⁹ Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

¹² What do you think? If to any man there should be a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, will he not leave the ninety nine on the mountains and, having gone, seek the one going astray? ¹³ And if he should find it, truly I say to you that he rejoices over it more than over the ninety nine not having gone astray. ¹⁴ Thus it is not the will of your Father who is in the heavens that one of these little ones should perish. ¹⁵ And if your brother sins against you, go reprove him, between you and him alone. If he will hear you, you have gained your brother.

⁶⁹ And Peter was sitting outside in the court, and one servant girl came to him, saying, “You also were with Jesus the Galilean.”

⁷⁵ And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, He having said, “Before the rooster crowing, you will deny Me three times.” And having gone out, he wept bitterly.

⁴ “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, and having lost one of them, does not leave the ninety nine in the open field, and go after the one having been lost, until he finds it? ⁵ And having found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. ⁶ And having come to the house, he calls together the friends and the neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep, the one having been lost!’ ⁷ I say to you that in the same way there will be joy in heaven over one sinner repenting, rather than over ninety nine righteous ones who have no need of repentance.

²² And the father said to his servants, ‘Quickly bring out the best robe and clothe him, and give him a ring for his hand and sandals for his feet; ²³ and having brought the fattened calf, kill it, and having eaten, let us be merry. ²⁴ For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ And they began to be merry. ²⁵ And his elder son was in the field, and while coming up, he drew near to the house; he heard music and dancing. ²⁶ And having called near one of the servants, he began inquiring what these things might be. ²⁷ And he said to him, ‘Your brother is come, and your father has killed the fattened calf, because he has received him in good health.’ ²⁸ But he was angry, and was not willing to go in. And his father, having gone, was begging him. ²⁹ And answering, he said to his father, ‘Behold, so many years I serve you, and never did I disobey a commandment of yours; and never did you give to me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends. ³⁰ But when this son of yours came, the one having devoured your living with prostitutes, you have killed the fattened calf for him!’ ³¹ And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours. ³² But it was fitting to make merry and to rejoice, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; and he was lost and is found.’”

⁶ For the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit, life and peace,

¹ Now receive the one being weak in the faith, not for passing judgment on reasonings.

¹ Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of the weak and not to please ourselves.

¹⁵ But he who is spiritual judges all things, but he himself is judged by no one.

¹ And I, brothers, was not able to speak to you as to spiritual, but as fleshly—as to infants in Christ.

²¹ What do you desire? Should I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?

⁵ Do not deprive one another, except by mutual agreement, for a time, that you might be at leisure for prayer; and be together the same again, so that Satan may not tempt you through your lack of self-control.

¹² Therefore the one thinking to stand, let him take heed, lest he fall.

³⁷ If anyone considers himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him recognize that the things I write to you are the commands of the Lord.

⁷ so that on the contrary, rather for you to forgive and to comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be overwhelmed by more abundant sorrow.

¹ Now I, Paul, myself exhort you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, I who indeed as to appearance am humble among you, but being absent am bold toward you.

¹¹ But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face because he stood condemned. ¹² For before certain ones came from James, he had been eating with the Gentiles. But when they came, he was drawing back and was separating himself, being afraid of those of the circumcision. ¹³ And also the rest of the Jews acted hypocritically with him, so that, by their hypocrisy, even Barnabas was carried away.

²³ gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.

¹⁵ And yet do not esteem him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

²⁵ in gentleness disciplining those opposing, lest ever God may give them repentance unto a knowledge of the truth,

¹³ and make straight paths for your feet, so that the lame should not be put out of joint, but rather should be healed.

³ Remember prisoners as being bound with them; those being mistreated as yourselves also being in the body.

² For we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, this one is a perfect man, able indeed to bridle the whole body.

¹³ Who is wise and understanding among you; let him show his works out of the good conduct, in the humility of wisdom.

¹⁹ My brothers, if anyone among you might wander from the truth, and someone should bring him back, ²⁰ let him know that the one having brought back a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death, and will cover over a multitude of sins.

¹⁵ But in your hearts sanctify Christ as Lord, always ready for a defense to everyone asking you an account concerning the hope in you; yet with gentleness and fear,

¹⁶ If anyone should see his brother sinning a sin not unto death, he shall ask, and He will give him life, to those sinning not unto death. There is a sin unto death; I do not say that he should implore concerning that.

²² And indeed have mercy on those who are doubting; ²³ and save others, snatching them out of the fire; and show mercy to others with fear, hating even the clothing having been stained by the flesh.

¹⁷ so that it might be fulfilled that having been spoken through the prophet Isaiah, saying, “He Himself took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.”

²⁹ Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. ³⁰ For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

⁴⁶ And He said, “Woe to you lawyers also! For you burden men with burdens heavy to bear, and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers.

¹⁴ Therefore if I, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash the feet of one another. ¹⁵ For I gave you a pattern, that as I did to you, you also should do.

³⁴ A new commandment I give to you, that you should love one another. As I have loved you, so you also should love one another.

¹² This is My commandment, that you love one another as I loved you.

² For the Law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the Law of sin and death.

²¹ To those outside the Law, as outside the Law (not being outside the law of God, but under the law of Christ) so that I might win those outside the Law.

¹³ For you brothers were called to freedom, but not the freedom for an opportunity to the flesh. Rather, serve one another through love. ¹⁴ For the entire Law is fulfilled in in this one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

⁵ For each shall bear his own load.

¹⁴ And we exhort you, brothers, to admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient toward all.

⁸ If indeed you keep the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing well.

²⁴ Who Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that, having been dead to sins, we might live to righteousness. “By whose scourge marks you have been healed.”

⁸ Again, I am writing a new commandment to you, which is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true light already shines. ⁹ The one claiming to be in the light and hating his brother is in the darkness even until now. ¹⁰ The one loving his brother abides in the light, and in him there is no cause for stumbling. ¹¹ But the one hating his brother is in the darkness, and walks in the darkness; and he knows not where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

²¹ And this commandment we have from Him, that the one loving God should love his brother also.

¹¹ The Pharisee having stood, was praying toward himself thus: ‘God, I thank You that I am not like the rest of the men—swindlers, unrighteous, adulterers—or even like this tax collector.

³ For through the grace having been given to me, I say to everyone being among you, not to be high-minded above what it behooves you to think, but to think so as to be sober-minded, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.

¹⁶ minding the same thing toward one another, not minding the things haughty, but going along with the lowly. Do not be wise in yourselves,

¹⁸ Let no one deceive himself: If anyone among you thinks himself to be wise in this age, let him become foolish, so that he may become wise.

² If anyone thinks to have known anything, not yet does he know as it is necessary to know.

² And if I should have prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I should have all faith so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

⁵ Not that we are sufficient from ourselves to reckon anything as of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God,

¹¹ I have become a fool; you compelled me. For I ought to have been commended by you, for in no way was I inferior to those “most eminent apostles,” even though I am nothing.

⁶ Now of those esteemed to be something, whatsoever they were formerly makes no difference to me. God does not accept the person of a man—for the esteemed added nothing to me.

¹³ But evil men and imposters will advance to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

²² But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves,

²⁶ If anyone seems to be religious, not bridling his tongue, but deceiving his heart, the religion of this one is worthless.

⁸ If we should say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

¹² Now I mean this, that each of you says, “I indeed am of Paul,” and “I of Apollos,” and “I of Cephas,” and “I of Christ.” ¹³ Has Christ been divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized into the name of Paul?

²¹ Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours, ²² whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come—all are yours, ²³ and you of Christ, and Christ of God.

³ But to me, it is the smallest matter that I be examined by you or by a human court. In fact, neither do I examine myself. ⁴ For I am conscious of nothing against myself, yet I have not been justified by this; but the One judging me is the Lord.

⁶ Now I have applied these things, brothers, to myself and Apollos, on account of you, so that in us you may learn, “not beyond what has been written,” so that not one of you should be puffed up for one over the other. ⁷ For who makes you any different? And what do you have that you did not receive? And if also you did receive it, why do you boast as not having received it?

²⁸ But let a man examine himself, and in this manner let him eat of the bread, and let him drink of the cup.

¹² For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you, in the purity and sincerity of God, and not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God.

¹² But what I do, I will continue doing, so that I might cut off the opportunity of those desiring an opportunity that they might be found as also we in what they are boasting. ¹³ For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.

⁵ Examine yourselves whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Or do you not recognize yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you, unless you are unapproved?

¹³ For not even those being circumcised keep the Law themselves, but they desire you to be circumcised so that they may boast in your flesh.

¹⁹ And by this we will know that we are of the truth, and we will assure our heart before Him, ²⁰ that if our heart should condemn us, that God is greater than our heart, and He knows all things. ²¹ Beloved, if our heart should not condemn us, we have confidence toward God, ²² and whatever we might ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and we do the things pleasing before Him.

²⁷ For the Son of Man is about to come in the glory His Father, with His angels, and then He will give to each according to his deeds.

⁶ who “will give to each according to his works,” ⁷ to those who indeed with endurance in good work are seeking glory and honor and immortality, eternal life; ⁸ but to those of self-interest and disobeying the truth, but being persuaded about unrighteousness, wrath and anger; ⁹ tribulation and distress upon every soul of man working evil, both of Jewish first, and also of Greek;

¹⁰ But why do you judge your brother, or why also do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God. ¹¹ For it has been written: “I live, says the Lord, that every knee will bow to Me, and every tongue will confess to God.” ¹² So then, each of us will give account concerning himself to God.

⁸ Now the one planting and the one watering are one, and each will receive the own reward, according to the own labor.

⁵ Therefore do not judge anything before the time, until the Lord shall have come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the motives of the hearts; and then the praise will come to each from God.

¹⁰ For we must all be revealed before the judgment seat of Christ, that each may receive back the things done through the body according to what he did, whether good or evil. ¹¹ Therefore knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade men. And we have been made manifest to God, and I hope to have been made manifest in your consciences also.

²³ And I will kill her children with death, and all the churches will know that I am the One searching affections and hearts; and I will give to each of you according to your works.

¹² And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the one of life. And the dead were judged out of the things having been written in the books, according to their deeds. ¹³ And the sea gave up the dead who were in it; and death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them; and each of them were judged according to their works. ¹⁴ And death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. ¹⁵ And if anyone was not found having been written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.

¹² “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to each as is his work.

¹⁰ nor provision-bag for the way, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor a staff; for the workman is worthy of his provisions.

²⁷ For they were pleased, and they are debtors of them. For if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual things, they ought also to minister to them in the material things.

⁹ For in the Law of Moses it has been written: “You shall not muzzle an ox treading out grain.” Is there care for the oxen with God? ¹⁰ Or is He speaking because of us entirely? For it was written for us, because in hope the one plowing ought to plow, and the one threshing, in hope to partake. ¹¹ If we have sown spiritual things among you, is it a great thing if we will reap material things from you? ¹² If others partake of the authority over you, should we not more? But we did not use this right. Instead, we bear all things, so that we should not place any hindrance to the gospel of Christ. ¹³ Do you not know that those working in the temple eat the things of the temple; those attending at the altar partake in the altar? ¹⁴ So also, the Lord has prescribed to those proclaiming the gospel to live from the gospel.

¹⁷ Let the elders ruling well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those laboring in the word and the teaching. ¹⁸ For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox treading out grain,” and, “The workman is worthy of his wages.”

²⁵ And Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that you did fully receive your good things in your lifetime, and Lazarus likewise the evil things. But now he is comforted here, and you are suffering.

⁸ And He said, “Take heed, lest you be led astray; for many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and ‘The time is drawn near.’ Do not go after them.

⁶ who “will give to each according to his works,” ⁷ to those who indeed with endurance in good work are seeking glory and honor and immortality, eternal life; ⁸ but to those of self-interest and disobeying the truth, but being persuaded about unrighteousness, wrath and anger; ⁹ tribulation and distress upon every soul of man working evil, both of Jewish first, and also of Greek; ¹⁰ but glory and honor and peace to everyone doing good, both to Jewish first, and to Greek.

⁹ Or do you not know that the unrighteous ones will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,

³³ Do not be misled: “Bad companionships corrupt good morals.”

⁶ Now this: The one sowing sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one sowing upon blessings will also reap upon blessings,

³ For if anyone thinks himself to be something being nothing, he deceives himself.

⁶ Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

³ No one should deceive you in any way, because it is not until the apostasy shall have come first, and the man of lawlessness shall have been revealed—the son of destruction,

⁷ Little children, let no one lead you astray; the one practicing righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.

¹⁸ that they were saying to you, “In the last time there will be scoffers, following after their own passions of ungodlinesses.”

²⁹ And everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for the sake of My name, will receive a hundredfold, and will inherit eternal life.

³⁰ who shall not receive manifold more in this time—and in the age that is coming, eternal life.”

¹⁴ but whoever may drink of the water that I will give him will never thirst, to the age. Instead, the water that I will give to him will become in him a spring of water, welling up into eternal life.”

³⁶ The one reaping receives a reward and gathers fruit unto eternal life, so that the one sowing and the one reaping may rejoice together.

²⁷ Do not work for the food that is perishing, but for the food enduring unto eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you; for God the Father has sealed Him.”

¹³ Neither yield your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but yield yourselves to God, as living out from the dead, and your members to God as instruments of righteousness.

²¹ What fruit, therefore, did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. ²² But now, having been set free from sin, and having become slaves to God, you have your fruit unto sanctification, and the end is eternal life.

¹³ For if you live according to flesh, you are about to die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

¹⁴ But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the desires of the flesh.

⁷ Do not be misled: God is not mocked. For whatever a man might sow, that also he will reap.

¹⁶ But because of this I was shown mercy, that in me, the foremost, Christ Jesus might display perfect patience, as a pattern for those being about to believe on Him to eternal life.

⁷ so that, having been justified by that grace, we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

¹⁸ And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those making peace.

¹² But these, like irrational animals, having been born as creatures of instinct for capture and destruction, blaspheming in what they are ignorant of, in their destruction also will be destroyed,

¹⁹ promising them freedom, themselves being slaves of corruption. For by what anyone has been subdued, by that also he is enslaved.

²¹ keep yourselves in the love of God, awaiting the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

¹¹ The one being unrighteous, let him be unrighteous still; and he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; and he who is righteous, let him practice righteousness still; and he who is holy, let him be holy still.”

²² And you will be hated by all on account of My name; but the one having endured to the end, he will be saved.

¹³ But the one having endured to the end, he will be saved.

¹ And He was speaking to them a parable about the way it behooves them always to pray and not to lose heart,

⁷ to those who indeed with endurance in good work are seeking glory and honor and immortality, eternal life;

⁵⁸ Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil in the Lord is not in vain.

¹ Because of this, having this ministry, as we received mercy, we do not lose heart.

¹⁶ Therefore we do not lose heart; but indeed if our outward man is being brought to decay, yet our inner self is being renewed day and day.

¹³ Therefore I implore you not to lose heart at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

¹³ Now you, brothers, shall not grow weary in well-doing.

⁶ but Christ as the Son over His house, whose house we are, if indeed we should hold our confidence and the boast of our hope.

¹⁴ For we have become partakers of Christ, if indeed we should hold firm unto the end the assurance from the beginning.

³⁵ Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. ³⁶ For you have need of endurance, so that, having done the will of God, you may receive the promise. ³⁷ For “Yet in a very while little, the One coming will come, and will not delay. ³⁸ But My righteous one will live by faith; and if he might shrink back, My soul does not take pleasure in him.” ³⁹ But we are not of those drawing back to destruction, but of faith to the preserving of the soul.

³ For consider fully the One having endured such great hostility from sinners against Himself, so that you shall not grow weary, fainting in your souls.

⁵ and you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as to sons: “My son, do not regard lightly the Lord’s discipline, nor faint being reproved by Him.

⁷ Therefore be patient, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer awaits the precious fruit of the earth, being patient for it until it receives the early and latter rains.

¹⁵ because the will of God is this: doing good, to put to silence the ignorance of foolish men,

¹⁷ For it is better to suffer for doing good, if the will of God wills it, than doing evil,

¹⁹ Therefore also, those suffering according to the will of God, let them commit their souls to the faithful Creator in well-doing.

³ And you have perseverance, and have endured for the sake of My name, and have not grown weary.

⁷ The one having an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one overcoming, I will give to him to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

¹⁰ Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, so that you might be tested; and you shall have tribulation ten days. Be faithful unto death, and I will give to you the crown of life. ¹¹ The one having an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one overcoming shall not be injured by the second death.

¹⁷ The one having an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one overcoming, I will give to him the manna having been hidden, and I will give to him a white stone, and on the stone new a name having been written, which no one has known, except the one receiving it.

²⁶ And the one overcoming and keeping My works until the end, I will give to him authority over the nations, ²⁷ and he will shepherd them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of the potter are broken in pieces—just as I also have received from My Father. ²⁸ And I will give to him the morning star. ²⁹ The one having an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

⁵ The one overcoming thus will be clothed in white garments. And I will never blot out his name from the book of life, and I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. ⁶ The one having an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

¹² The one overcoming, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall not go out anymore. And I will write upon him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from My God, and My new name. ¹³ The one having an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

²¹ The one overcoming, I will give to him to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. ²² The one having an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”

⁴³ You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’

²⁵ It is sufficient for the disciple that he become like his teacher, and the servant like his master. If the master of the house they called Beelzebul, how much more those of his household!

⁵⁰ For whoever shall do the will of My Father who is in the heavens, he is My brother and sister and mother.”

⁴⁰ And the King answering, will say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did it to Me.’

⁴ And He says to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbaths to do good, or to do evil, to save life, or to kill?” But they were silent.

³⁵ But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He is kind to the ungrateful and evil.

⁴ It behooves us to work the works of the One having sent Me while it is day; night is coming, when no one is able to work.

³⁵ Therefore Jesus said to them, “Yet a little while, the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, so that darkness might not overtake you. And the one walking in the darkness does not know where he is going.

¹⁹ So then, you are no longer strangers and aliens, but are fellow citizens of the saints and of the household of God,

¹⁵ from whom every family in the heavens and on earth is named,

¹⁶ redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

¹⁰ But I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that now at last you have revived the caring for me, wherein also you were concerned, but you were lacking opportunity.

⁵ Walk in wisdom toward those outside, redeeming the time.

¹⁵ See that no one has repaid to anyone evil for evil, but always pursue the good also toward one another and toward all.

¹⁷ Instruct the rich in the present age not to be high-minded, nor to have hope in the uncertainty of riches, but on God, the One richly providing us all things for enjoyment; ¹⁸ to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous in distributing, ready to share,

¹⁴ who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all lawlessness and might purify to Himself a people specially chosen, zealous of good works.

⁸ Trustworthy is the saying, and I want you to affirm strongly concerning these things, so that those believing God may take care to be devoted to good works. These things are excellent and profitable to men.

¹⁰ For God is not unjust to forget your work and the love that you have shown toward His name, having ministered to the saints, and still ministering.

¹⁶ And do not be forgetful of the good, and of the sharing; for God is well pleased with such sacrifices.

¹³ And do not be surprised, brothers, if the world hates you. ¹⁴ We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. The one not loving abides in death. ¹⁵ Everyone hating his brother is a murderer; and you know that any murderer does not have eternal life abiding in him. ¹⁶ By this we have known love, because He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. ¹⁷ Now whoever might have the world’s goods, and might see his brother having need, and might close up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? ¹⁸ Little children, we should love not in word, nor in tongue, but in action and in truth. ¹⁹ And by this we will know that we are of the truth, and we will assure our heart before Him,

¹ Everyone believing that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone loving the One having begotten Him also loves the one having been begotten from Him.

⁵ Beloved, you are doing faithfully whatever you might have done toward the brothers, and they are strangers, ⁶ who testified of your love before the church, whom you will do well having set forward worthily of God. ⁷ For they went forth on behalf of the name, accepting nothing from the Gentiles. ⁸ Therefore we ought to receive such men, so that we may be fellow workers in the truth.

¹¹ Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one doing good is of God; the one doing evil has not seen God.

²² I Tertius, the one having written down this letter, greet you in the Lord.

²¹ The greeting is in my own hand—Paul. ²² If anyone does not love the Lord, let him be accursed. Maranatha! ²³ The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you.

² Therefore when you perform acts of charity, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may have glory from men. Truly I say to you, they have their recompense.

⁵ And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets so that they might be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their recompense.

¹⁶ And whenever you fast, do not be downcast in countenance like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces so that they might appear to men as fasting. Truly I say to you, they have their recompense.

⁵ And they do all their deeds in order to be seen by men. For they broaden their phylacteries and enlarge their tassels,

²⁸ Thus indeed outwardly you also appear righteous to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

¹⁵ And He said to them, “You are those justifying themselves before men, but God knows your hearts; for that which is exalted among men is an abomination before God.

⁴⁷ who devour the houses of widows, and pray at great length as a pretext. These will receive more abundant condemnation.”

¹⁸ The one speaking from himself seeks the own glory, but the One seeking the glory of the One having sent Him, He is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.

¹ But certain ones having come down from Judea were teaching the brothers, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you are not able to be saved.”

⁵ Now certain of those who believed, from the sect of the Pharisees, rose up, saying, “It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the Law of Moses.”

¹² For we dare not to classify or to compare ourselves with some commending themselves. But these, measuring themselves by themselves and comparing themselves with themselves, do not understand.

¹³ For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.

³ But not even Titus who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised,

¹⁴ But when I saw that they are not walking in line according to the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter before all, “If you being a Jew live like a Gentile, and not like a Jew, why do you compel the Gentiles to Judaize?

¹¹ Now, brothers, if I still proclaim circumcision, why still am I persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished.

¹⁵ For some, even from envy and strife, are proclaiming Christ, but some also from goodwill—

⁴ each considering not the things of themselves, but each also the things of others.

¹⁸ For many are walking—of whom I have told you often and now I say even weeping—as enemies of the cross of Christ,

²³ which having indeed an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed worship and humility and harsh treatment of the body, are not of any value against the indulgence of the flesh.

³ therefore keep and observe all things whatsoever they might tell you. But do not do according to their works, for they preach and do not act.

¹⁵ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you traverse the sea and the dry land to make one convert, and whenever it may happen, you make him twofold more a son of Gehenna than yourselves.

²³ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithes of mint and dill and cumin, and you have neglected the weightier things of the Law: justice and mercy and faithfulness. It behooved you to do these, and not to be leaving aside those.

¹⁷ But if you are called a Jew and rely on the Law and boast in God, ¹⁸ and you know His will and approve the things being superior, being instructed out of the Law, ¹⁹ and you are persuaded that you yourself are a guide of the blind, a light to those in darkness, ²⁰ an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of infants, having in the Law the embodiment of knowledge and of the truth— ²¹ then you teaching another, do you do not teach yourself? You preaching not to steal, do you steal? ²² You saying not to commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You abhorring idols, do you rob temples? ²³ You who boast in Law, do you dishonor God through the transgression of the Law? ²⁴ As it has been written: “For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you.” ²⁵ For circumcision profits if you do the Law; but if you are a transgressor of Law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.

⁹ What then? Are we better? Not at all. For we have already charged both Jews and Greeks all to be under sin. ¹⁰ As it has been written: “There is none righteous, not even one; ¹¹ there is none understanding; there is none seeking after God. ¹² All have turned away; together they have become worthless; there is none who is practicing good, there is not so much as one. ¹³ Their throat is a grave having been opened; they keep practicing deceit with their tongues; the venom of vipers is under their lips, ¹⁴ of whom the mouth is full of cursing and of bitterness; ¹⁵ their feet are swift to shed blood; ¹⁶ ruin and misery are in their paths; ¹⁷ and the way of peace they have not known. ¹⁸ There is no fear of God before their eyes.” ¹⁹ Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those under the Law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and the whole world may be under judgment to God.

²¹ Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours,

⁶ Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?

¹⁸ Since many boast according to the flesh, I also will boast.

³ For we are the circumcision, those worshiping in the Spirit of God, and glorying in Christ Jesus, and not trusting in the flesh—

²³ except that the Holy Spirit fully testifies to me in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me. ²⁴ But I make my life neither dear nor any account to myself, so as to finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus: to testify fully the gospel of the grace of God.

¹⁶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone believing—both to Jewish first, and to Greek.

⁴ Never may it be! But let God be true, and every man a liar, as it has been written: “That You may be justified in Your words, and will prevail in Your being judged.” ⁵ But if our unrighteousness shows God’s righteousness, what shall we say? God, inflicting the wrath, is unrighteous? I speak according to man. ⁶ Never may it be! Otherwise, how will God judge the world?

² Never may it be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?

⁶ knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, so that the body of sin might be annulled, that we are no longer enslaved to sin.

²³ we, however, preach Christ having been crucified, a stumbling block indeed to the Jewish and foolishness to Gentiles,

²⁹ so that all flesh may not boast before God. ³⁰ But out of Him, you are in Christ Jesus, who has been made unto us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption, ³¹ in order that, as it has been written: “The one boasting, let him boast in the Lord.”

² For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and Him having been crucified.

¹⁴ For the love of Christ compels us, having concluded this, that One has died for all, therefore all have died. ¹⁵ And He died for all that those living no longer should live to themselves, but to the One having died for them and having been raised again. ¹⁶ Therefore from now, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have regarded Christ according to flesh, yet now we regard Him thus no longer.

¹² But what I do, I will continue doing, so that I might cut off the opportunity of those desiring an opportunity that they might be found as also we in what they are boasting.

¹⁰ Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, and difficulties for Christ; for when I might be weak, then I am strong. ¹¹ I have become a fool; you compelled me. For I ought to have been commended by you, for in no way was I inferior to those “most eminent apostles,” even though I am nothing.

⁴ the One having given Himself for our sins, so that He might deliver us out of the evil age having come presently, according to the will our God and Father,

²⁰ I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. And that which I now live in the flesh, I live through faith from the Son of God, the One having loved me and having given up Himself for me.

²⁴ Now those of Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

²⁰ according to my earnest expectation and hope that I will be ashamed in nothing, but in all boldness also now as always, Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. ²¹ For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

⁷ But whatever things were gain to me, these I have esteemed loss because of Christ. ⁸ But indeed, therefore, I also count all things to be loss because of the excelling knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, because of whom I have lost all things, and esteem them rubbish, that I may gain Christ ⁹ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness which is of the Law, but that which is through faith from Christ, the righteousness of God on the basis of faith, ¹⁰ to know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, ¹¹ if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from out of dead.

¹ If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God. ² Set your minds on the things above, not the things on the earth. ³ For you have died, and your life has been hidden with Christ in God.

¹⁵ Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone should love the world, the love of the Father is not in him, ¹⁶ because all that is in the world, the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the vaunting of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. ¹⁷ And the world is passing away, and its desire; but the one doing the will of God abides to the age.

⁴ For everyone having been born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory having overcome the world: our faith. ⁵ Now who is the one overcoming the world, except the one believing that Jesus is the Son of God?

²⁸ For the one on the outside a Jew is not, neither that on the outside in flesh is circumcision.

¹ Therefore there is now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus.

¹⁹ Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God.

¹⁷ Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away; behold, the new has come into being.

⁶ For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any power, but only faith working through love.

¹⁰ For we are His workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

²⁴ and to have put on the new man, having been created according to God in righteousness and holiness of truth.

¹⁰ and having put on the new, the one being renewed in knowledge according to the image of the one having created him, ¹¹ where there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, slave, and free; but Christ is all and in all.

⁵ And the One sitting on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He says, “Write this, because these words are faithful and true.”

⁴⁷ Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him, and He says concerning him, “Behold, truly an Israelite, in whom there is no deceit.”

²⁷ Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it fear.

³³ I have spoken these things to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world.”

⁷ To all those being in Rome beloved of God, called saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁸ For the one on the outside a Jew is not, neither that on the outside in flesh is circumcision. ²⁹ But he who is a Jew is one on the inside; and circumcision is of heart, in spirit, not in letter, of whom the praise is not of men, but of God.

¹² and the father of circumcision to those not only of circumcision, but also to those walking in the steps of the faith of our father Abraham during uncircumcision.

⁶ And it is not as that the word of God has failed. For not all who are of Israel, are these Israel. ⁷ Nor because they are seed of Abraham are all children. Rather, “In Isaac your offspring will be named.” ⁸ That is, the children of the flesh, these are not children of God; but the children of the promise are regarded as offspring.

³ Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,

⁷ Know then that those of faith, these are sons of Abraham. ⁸ And the Scripture, having foreseen that God justifies the Gentiles by faith, foretold the gospel to Abraham: “All the nations will be blessed in you.” ⁹ So then, those of faith are blessed along with the believing Abraham.

²⁹ Now if you are of Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, heirs according to the promise.

¹⁶ Now I say, walk by the Spirit, and you should not gratify the desires of the flesh.

²⁵ If we live by the Spirit, we should also walk by the Spirit.

¹⁶ Nevertheless, to that which we have attained, we are to walk by the same.

⁷ And the peace of God, surpassing all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

⁵ you yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house into a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. ⁶ Therefore it is contained in Scripture: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone, a chosen precious cornerstone; and the one believing on Him, shall not be put to shame.” ⁷ Therefore the preciousness is to you believing. But to those disobeying, “The stone which those building have rejected, this has become into the head of the corner,” ⁸ and, “A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense.” They stumble at being disobedient to the word, to which also they were appointed. ⁹ But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of the One having called you out of darkness into His marvelous light,

²⁴ Inasmuch as we have heard that some went out from us, to whom we had given no instructions, and troubled you by words, upsetting your minds,

⁵ because as the sufferings of the Christ abound toward us, so through Christ our comfort also abounds.

¹⁰ always carrying around the death of Jesus in our body, so that the life of Jesus also should be manifested in our body.

²³ Are they servants of Christ? I speak as being beside myself, I too above measure: more abundantly in labors, more abundantly in imprisonments, in beatings above measure, in deaths often. ²⁴ Five times I received from the Jews the forty lashes minus one. ²⁵ Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, three times I was shipwrecked. I have passed a night and a day in the deep sea;

⁷ which is not another, except there are some who are troubling you and are desiring to pervert the gospel of Christ.

¹¹ Now, brothers, if I still proclaim circumcision, why still am I persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished. ¹² I wish those upsetting you also will emasculate themselves!

²⁴ Now I rejoice in the sufferings for you, and I am filling up in my flesh that which is lacking of the tribulations of Christ for His body, which is the church,

¹⁵ observing lest any be failing of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up should trouble you and by this, the many might be defiled,

²⁰ And in a short time the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

²³ Gaius, the host of me and of all the church, greets you. Erastus, the steward of the city, greets you, and Quartus, the brother.

¹⁴ The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with all of you.

²² The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you all.

²⁵ The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

²¹ The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints. Amen.
