³⁸ so that word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, that said: “Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”

⁷ Hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied rightly concerning you, saying,

¹⁷ And Jesus answering, said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Barjona! For flesh and blood did not reveal it to you, but My Father in the heavens.

³⁵ And having crucified Him, they divided His garments, casting lots.

²⁵ But this is that the word having been written in their Law may be fulfilled: ‘They hated Me without cause.’

¹² When I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name, which You have given Me. And I guarded them, and none of them has perished, except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.

²⁴ Therefore they said to one another, “Let us not tear it up, but let us cast lots for it, whose it will be,” that Scripture might be fulfilled that said: “They divided My garments among them, and for My clothing they cast a lot.” So indeed the soldiers did these things.

³⁶ For these things took place so that the Scripture might be fulfilled: “Not one bone of Him will be broken.” ³⁷ And again, another Scripture says: “They will look on the One they have pierced.”

²⁸ And he was returning and sitting in his chariot, and he was reading the prophet Isaiah. ²⁹ And the Spirit said to Philip, “Go near and join yourself to this chariot.” ³⁰ And Philip having run up, heard him reading Isaiah the prophet and said, “Do you then understand what you are reading?”

²⁷ For those dwelling in Jerusalem and their rulers, not having known Him and the voices of the prophets that are being read on every Sabbath, having condemned Him, they fulfilled them. ²⁸ And having found no cause of death, they begged Pilate to put Him to death. ²⁹ And when they had finished all the things having been written about Him, having taken Him down from the tree, they put Him in a tomb.

¹⁶ But not all heeded the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?”

²⁰ And Isaiah is very bold and says: “I was found by those not seeking Me; I became manifest to those not inquiring after Me.”

²⁴ but those called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

¹⁴ But their minds were hardened; for until the present day, the same veil remains at the reading of the old covenant, not being lifted, which is being removed in Christ. ¹⁵ But unto this day, when Moses shall be read, a veil lies over their heart. ¹⁶ But whenever one shall have turned to the Lord, the veil is taken away. ¹⁷ Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. ¹⁸ And we all having been unveiled in face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image, from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.

³ But if indeed our gospel is concealed, it is concealed to those who are perishing, ⁴ in whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so as for not to beam forth the illumination of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. ⁵ For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord; and ourselves as your servants for the sake of Jesus. ⁶ For it is God, having said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” who shone in our hearts for the radiance of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

¹⁶ to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I consulted not immediately with flesh and blood, ¹⁷ that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, ¹⁸ the eyes your of heart being enlightened, in order for you to know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, ¹⁹ and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us believing according to the working of the power of His might, ²⁰ which He worked in Christ, having raised Him out from the dead, and having set Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms,
