⁵ After that, He pours water into the basin, and He began to wash the feet of the disciples and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded.

³⁸ and having stood behind Him at His feet weeping, she began to wet His feet with the tears, and she was wiping them with the hairs of her head, and was kissing His feet, and was anointing them with the fragrant oil.

⁴⁴ And having turned to the woman, He was saying to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered into your house; you did not give water for My feet, but she wet My feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair.

⁸ Peter says to Him, “Never shall You wash my feet, to the age.” Jesus answered him, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with Me.”

¹⁰ Jesus says to him, “The one having been bathed has no need to wash, except the feet, but is wholly clean. And you all are clean, but not all.”

¹² Therefore when He had washed their feet and taken His garments, and having reclined again, He said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you? ¹³ You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say rightly, for so I am. ¹⁴ Therefore if I, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash the feet of one another.

³⁴ But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and blood and water came out immediately.

¹⁶ And now why do you delay? Having arisen, be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on His name.’

¹¹ And some of you were such. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

²⁶ so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water by the word,

¹⁰ being borne witness to in good works: if she has brought up children, if she has entertained strangers, if she has washed the feet of the saints, if she has imparted relief to those being oppressed, if she has followed after every good work.

³ For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, being deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another. ⁴ But when the kindness and the love of mankind of God our Savior appeared, ⁵ He saved us, not by works in righteousness that we did, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

²² we should draw near with a sincere heart, in full assurance of faith, our hearts having been sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our body having been washed with pure water.

⁷ But if we should walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

⁶ This is the One having come by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and by blood. And the Spirit is the One testifying, because the Spirit is the truth.

⁵ and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To the One loving us and releasing us from our sins through His blood,

¹⁴ And I said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
