²¹ Therefore Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you. As the Father has sent Me forth, I also send you.”

¹⁶ Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves; therefore be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves.

⁴⁰ The One receiving you receives Me, and the one receiving Me receives the One having sent Me.

¹⁸ And having come to them, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on the earth has been given to Me. ¹⁹ Therefore having gone, disciple all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And behold, I am with you all the days, until the completion of the age.”

¹⁵ And He said to them, “Having gone into all the world, proclaim the gospel to all the creation. ¹⁶ The one having believed and having been baptized will be saved, but the one having disbelieved will be condemned. ¹⁷ And these signs will accompany those having believed: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; ¹⁸ and with their hands they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it shall never hurt them; they will lay hands upon the sick, and they will be well.”

⁴⁷ and repentance and forgiveness of sins to be proclaimed in His name to all nations, having begun from Jerusalem. ⁴⁸ You are witnesses of these things. ⁴⁹ And behold, I am sending the promise of My Father upon you. But you, remain in the city until that you should be clothed with power from on high.”

¹⁷ For God did not send His Son into the world that He might judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

²⁰ Truly, truly, I say to you, the one receiving whomever I shall send, receives Me; and the one receiving Me, receives the One having sent Me.”

²⁷ Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it fear.

¹⁸ As You sent Me into the world, I also sent them into the world; ¹⁹ and for them I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.

¹⁹ Therefore it being evening the same day, the first of the week, and the doors where the disciples were having been shut through the fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and He says to them, “Peace to you.”

¹⁵ Therefore when they had dined, Jesus says to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love Me more than these?” He says to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I dearly love You.” He says to him, “Feed My lambs.” ¹⁶ He says to him again a second time, “Simon son of John, do you love Me?” He says to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I dearly love You.” He says to him, “Shepherd My sheep.” ¹⁷ He says to him the third time, “Simon son of John, do you dearly love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you dearly love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I dearly love You.” Jesus says to him, “Feed My sheep.

⁸ But you will receive power, the Holy Spirit having come upon you, and you will be witnesses for Me, both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost part of the earth.”

² And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be competent to teach others also.

¹ Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of the heavenly calling, carefully consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession,
