² just as those from the beginning having been eyewitnesses and servants of the word delivered them to us,

¹ The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, Son of God.

¹⁴ The one sowing sows the word.

⁴⁸ You are witnesses of these things.

²⁷ And you also bear witness, because you are with Me from the beginning.

³ to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering with many proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking the things concerning the kingdom of God.

⁸ But you will receive power, the Holy Spirit having come upon you, and you will be witnesses for Me, both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost part of the earth.”

²¹ Therefore it behooves the men having accompanied us during all the time that the Lord Jesus came in and went out among us, ²² having begun from the baptism of John until the day in which He was taken up from us, one of these, to become a witness with us of His resurrection.”

²⁰ For we are not able to stop speaking about what we have seen and heard.”

³⁹ And we are witnesses of all things that He did, both in the region of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom they also put to death, having hanged Him on a tree. ⁴⁰ This One God raised up on the third day, and gave Him to become manifest, ⁴¹ not to all the people, but to the witnesses having been chosen beforehand by God, to us who did eat with and drink with Him after His rising out from the dead.

¹⁶ But rise up and stand on your feet. For I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you a servant and a witness both of that which you have seen of Me, and of the things in which I will appear to you,

¹⁶ for me to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, administering the sacred service of the gospel of God, so that the offering of the Gentiles might become acceptable, having been sanctified in the Holy Spirit.

¹ So let a man regard us as servants of Christ and stewards of God’s mysteries.

⁷ of which I became servant according to the gift of God’s grace, having been given to me according to the working of His power. ⁸ To me, the very least of all saints, was given this grace: to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ

¹¹ And He gave some indeed to be apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists, and some shepherds and teachers, ¹² toward the perfecting of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ,

²³ if indeed you continue in the faith, established and firm, and not being moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, having been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, of which I Paul have become a minister. ²⁴ Now I rejoice in the sufferings for you, and I am filling up in my flesh that which is lacking of the tribulations of Christ for His body, which is the church, ²⁵ of which I became a minister according to the administration of God having been given me toward you, to complete the word of God,

³ how shall we escape, having neglected such a great salvation, which, having received a commencement declared by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those having heard,

¹ I exhort the elders among you, a fellow elder and witness of the sufferings of Christ, who am also a partaker of the glory being about to be revealed:

¹⁶ For we have not made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ having followed out cleverly devised fables, but having been eyewitnesses of His majesty.

¹ That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with our eyes, that which we have gazed upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life— ² and the life was made manifest, and we have seen and bear witness, and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was revealed to us— ³ that which we have seen and have heard, we proclaim to you also, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.
