¹⁰ Now it was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them, who were telling these things to the apostles.

⁵⁶ among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of the sons of Zebedee.

³⁰ And the apostles are gathered together to Jesus, and they related to him all things, what they had done and what they had taught.

⁴⁰ And there were also women looking on from afar off, among whom also were Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the least and of Joseph, and Salome, ⁴¹ who had been following Him and had been ministering to Him when He was in Galilee, and many other ones having come up with Him to Jerusalem.

⁹ And having risen early the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had cast out seven demons. ¹⁰ She having gone, told it to those having been with Him, mourning and weeping. ¹¹ And they having heard that He is alive and has been seen by her, disbelieved.

² and certain women who had been cured from evil spirits and infirmities: Mary who is called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out, ³ and Joanna wife of Chuza, a steward of Herod, and Susanna, and many others, who were ministering to them out of their own means.

¹¹ But Mary stood outside at the tomb weeping. Then as she was weeping, she stooped down into the tomb, ¹² and she sees two angels in white sitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. ¹³ And they say to her, “Woman, why do you weep?” She says to them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.” ¹⁴ Having said these things, she turned back around, and she sees Jesus standing there, and she had not known that it is Jesus. ¹⁵ Jesus says to her, “Woman, why do you weep? Whom do you seek?” Thinking that it is the gardener, she says to Him, “Sir, if you have carried Him off, tell me where you have laid Him, and I will take Him away.” ¹⁶ Jesus says to her, “Mary.” Having turned around, she says to Him in Hebrew, “Rabboni,” that is to say, “Teacher.” ¹⁷ Jesus says to her, “Do not touch Me, for not yet have I ascended to the Father. Now go to My brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’” ¹⁸ Mary Magdalene comes bringing word to the disciples, “I have seen the Lord,” and that He had said these things to her.
