⁴⁰ And answering, Jesus said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.” And he says, “Teacher, say it.”

²² Many will say to Me in that the day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’

⁴⁹ And having come up to Jesus immediately, he said, “Greetings, Rabbi,” and kissed Him.

²⁰ And having watched Him, they sent spies, feigning themselves to be righteous, that they might catch Him in His word, in order to deliver Him to the rule and to the authority of the governor. ²¹ And they questioned Him, saying, “Teacher, we know that You speak and teach rightly, and do not receive any person, but teach the way of God on the basis of truth.

² He came to Him by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher, for no one is able to do these signs that You do, unless God should be with him.”

¹³ You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say rightly, for so I am.

¹⁹ Jesus knew that they were desiring to ask Him, and He said to them, “Do you inquire among one another concerning this, that I said, ‘A little while and you do not behold Me, and again a little while and you will see Me’?

³⁰ Now we know that You know all things, and have no need that anyone should ask You. In this we believe that You came forth from God.”
