¹ Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother, To Philemon, our beloved and fellow worker, ² and to Apphia our sister, and to Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the church at your house: ³ Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. ⁴ I thank my God always, making mention of you upon my prayers, ⁵ hearing of your love and the faith that you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints, ⁶ so that the fellowship of your faith might become effective in the acknowledgment of every good thing that is in you toward Christ. ⁷ For I have great joy and encouragement by occasion of your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed by you, brother. ⁸ Therefore, having much boldness in Christ to order you what is befitting, ⁹ rather, I exhort you for the sake of love, being such a one as Paul, now aged and also a prisoner of Christ Jesus. ¹⁰ I exhort you for my child whom I have begotten in chains, Onesimus, ¹¹ once useless to you, but now useful both to you and to me, ¹² whom I have sent back to you in person—he who is my very heart— ¹³ whom I was wishing to keep with myself, so that on behalf of you he might serve me in the chains of the gospel. ¹⁴ But I wanted to do nothing apart from your consent, so that your good may be not as according to necessity, but according to willingness. ¹⁵ For perhaps because of this he was separated from you for a time, so that you might possess him eternally, ¹⁶ no longer as a slave, but above a slave, a beloved brother, especially to me, but how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord. ¹⁷ Therefore, if you consider me a partner, receive him as me. ¹⁸ But if in any way he has wronged you or he owes you, charge this to me. ¹⁹ I Paul did write with my own hand. I will repay it, that I may not say to you that you owe also to me even yourself. ²⁰ Yes, brother, may I have profit from you in the Lord. Refresh my heart in Christ. ²¹ Being persuaded of your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even above what I say. ²² Now at the same time, also prepare a lodging for me; for I hope that through your prayers, I will be granted to you. ²³ Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, greets you, ²⁴ as do Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke, my fellow workers. ²⁵ The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

¹ For reason of this, I Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles...

¹ Therefore I, the prisoner in the Lord, exhort you to walk worthily of the calling to which you were called,

²⁰ for which I am an ambassador in a chain, that in it I may be bold, as it behooves me to speak.

²⁵ Now I esteemed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fellow worker and fellow soldier, and your messenger and minister to my need,

³ Yes, and I ask you, true yokefellow, help these women who labored together with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.

¹ Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy the brother,

¹¹ and also Jesus called Justus, these being the only fellow workers for the kingdom of God among the circumcision, who have been a comfort to me.

² and we sent Timothy, our brother and fellow worker of God in the gospel of Christ, in order to strengthen and to encourage you concerning your faith,

¹ Paul and Silvanus and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:

⁸ Therefore you should not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me, His prisoner; but suffer together for the gospel, according to the power of God, ⁹ rather, I exhort you for the sake of love, being such a one as Paul, now aged and also a prisoner of Christ Jesus.

²⁴ as do Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke, my fellow workers.

⁵ and the church at their house. Greet Epenetus, my beloved, who is a firstfruit of Asia for Christ.

¹⁹ The churches of Asia greet you. Aquila and Prisca, with the church at their house, greet you heartily in the Lord.

¹⁵ Greet the brothers in Laodicea, and also Nympha and the church in her house.

¹⁷ And say to Archippus: “Take heed to the ministry that you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it.”

³ Share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. ⁴ No one serving as a soldier entangles himself in the affairs of this life, that he might please the one having enlisted him.

⁷ To all those being in Rome beloved of God, called saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁴ The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with all of you.

² Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

⁸ First indeed, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is being proclaimed in all the world.

¹⁶ do not cease giving thanks for you, making mention in my prayers,

³ I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

³ We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying continually for you,

² We give thanks to God always concerning all of you, making mention in our prayers, ³ We ought to thank God always concerning you, brothers, just as it is fitting, because your faith is increasing exceedingly, and the love of each one of you all to one another is abounding,

³ I am thankful to God, whom I serve from my forefathers with a pure conscience, as I have the remembrance of you unceasingly in my prayers, night and day,

³⁹ And Peter having risen up, went with them, who having arrived, brought him into the upper room. And all the widows stood by him, weeping and showing the tunics and garments that Dorcas had made, being with them. ⁴⁰ And Peter having put all outside and having bowed the knees, prayed. And having turned to the body he said, “Tabitha, arise!” And she opened her eyes, and having seen Peter, she sat up. ⁴¹ And having given her his hand, he raised her up. And having called the saints and the widows, he presented her living.

¹³ contributing to the needs of the saints, pursuing hospitality.

²⁵ But now I am going to Jerusalem, ministering to the saints. ²⁶ For Macedonia and Achaia were pleased to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem.

¹ Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have directed the churches of Galatia, so also you are to do.

⁶ For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any power, but only faith working through love.

¹⁵ Because of this, I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus among you, and the love toward all the saints,

⁴ having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and the love that you have toward all the saints,

⁷ For I have great joy and encouragement by occasion of your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed by you, brother.

²³ And this is His commandment, that we should believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and we should love one another, just as He gave the commandment to us.

¹ Everyone believing that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone loving the One having begotten Him also loves the one having been begotten from Him. ² By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.

¹⁶ Thus let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and they should glorify your Father in the heavens.

²⁵ and the secrets of his heart become manifest. And thus having fallen upon his face, he will worship God, declaring that God is certainly among you.

¹² For the ministry of this service is not only completely filling up the needs of the saints, but is also overflowing through many thanksgivings to God, ¹³ through the proof of this service, glorifying God at your submission of confession to the gospel of Christ, and the generosity of the participation toward them and toward all. ¹⁴ And their supplication is for you, longing for you on account of the surpassing grace of God upon you.

⁹ And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment, ¹⁰ for you to approve the things being excellent, so that you may be pure and blameless unto the day of Christ, ¹¹ being filled with the fruit of righteousness that is through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

⁸ Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is venerable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if any excellence and if any praise—think on these things.

⁹ Because of this also, we from the day we heard, do not cease praying for you and asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding

¹⁴ And also let our people learn to devote themselves to good works for necessary needs, so that they should not be unfruitful.

¹⁰ For God is not unjust to forget your work and the love that you have shown toward His name, having ministered to the saints, and still ministering.

¹⁴ What is the profit, my brothers, if anyone says to have faith, but has no works? Is the faith able to save him?

¹⁷ So also, faith by itself if it has not works, is dead.

⁵ who are being guarded by the power of God through faith, for the salvation ready to be revealed in the last time, ⁶ in which you greatly rejoice, at present for a little while if it is being necessary, having been put to grief by various trials, ⁷ so that the proven genuineness of your faith, more precious than gold, perishing though being refined by fire, may be discovered to result in praise and glory and honor in the revelation of Jesus Christ, ⁸ whom not having seen you love, on whom now believing though not seeing you also exult with joy inexpressible and filled with glory,

¹² keeping your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that wherein which they speak against you as evildoers, through having witnessed the good deeds, they may glorify God in the day of visitation.

¹ Likewise wives, be subject to the own husbands so that, even if any are disobedient to the word, they will be won over without word by the conduct of the wives,

¹⁶ having a good conscience, so that in the case that they might speak against you, those reviling your good manner of life in Christ, they shall be ashamed.

⁸ For these things being in you and abounding, make you neither idle nor unfruitful as to the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁴ Great is my boldness toward you; great my boasting on behalf of you; I have been filled with encouragement; I overabound with joy upon all our affliction.

¹³ On account of this, we have been comforted. And besides our comfort, we have rejoiced the more abundantly rather at the joy of Titus, because his spirit has been refreshed by all of you.

³ remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and unceasing labor of love, and the endurance of the hope of our Lord Jesus Christ,

¹³ And because of this, we also give thanks to God unceasingly that, having received the word of God by your hearing from us, you accepted not the word of men, but even as truly it is, the word of God, which also works in you who believe.

¹⁹ For who is our hope or joy or crown of boasting? Or are not even you, before our Lord Jesus at His coming?

⁹ For what thanksgiving are we able to give to God concerning you in return for all the joy that we rejoice before our God because of you,

¹⁶ May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he refreshed me often, and he was not ashamed of my chain.

²⁰ Yes, brother, may I have profit from you in the Lord. Refresh my heart in Christ.

⁴ I rejoiced exceedingly that I have found some of your children walking in truth, just as we have received a commandment from the Father.

³ For I rejoiced exceedingly of the brothers coming and bearing witness of your truth, just as you are walking in truth. ⁴ I have no greater joy than these things, that I should hear of my children walking in the truth. ⁵ Beloved, you are doing faithfully whatever you might have done toward the brothers, and they are strangers, ⁶ who testified of your love before the church, whom you will do well having set forward worthily of God.

¹² Therefore having such a hope, we use great boldness,

¹ Now I, Paul, myself exhort you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, I who indeed as to appearance am humble among you, but being absent am bold toward you. ² Now I implore you that being present, I need not to be bold with the confidence with which I reckon to be daring toward some reckoning us as walking according to flesh.

⁸ For even if I should boast somewhat more abundantly concerning our authority, which the Lord has given us for building you up and not for tearing you down, I will not be ashamed,

²¹ I speak as to dishonor, as that we have been weak! But in whatever anyone might dare—I speak in foolishness—I also am daring.

⁴ and filthiness, and foolish talking, or crude joking, which are not fitting, but rather thanksgiving.

² But having previously suffered and having been mistreated in Philippi, just as you know, we had boldness in our God to speak to you the gospel of God amid much conflict.

⁶ nor seeking glory from men, nor from you, nor from others, though having authority with weight to be, as apostles of Christ.

¹ Therefore I exhort you, brothers, through the compassions of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy to God, well-pleasing, which is your reasonable service.

²⁰ Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God is beseeching through us. We implore on behalf of Christ: Be reconciled to God.

¹ And working together, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

¹⁹ And more abundantly I exhort you to do this, so that I may be restored to you more quickly.

¹¹ Beloved, I exhort you as aliens and sojourners, to abstain from fleshly desires, which war against the soul,

¹⁷ And one out of the crowd answered Him, “Teacher, I brought to You my son, having a mute spirit;

¹⁵ For if you should have ten thousand guardians in Christ, yet not many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

¹⁹ My children, of whom I travail again until that Christ shall have been formed in you,

⁹ with Onesimus, the faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They will make known to you all things here.

² To Timothy, my true child in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God our Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

⁴ To Titus, my true child according to our common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.

³⁰ And cast out the worthless servant, into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

²⁴ For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ And they began to be merry.

³² But it was fitting to make merry and to rejoice, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; and he was lost and is found.’”

¹⁰ Thus you also, when you may have done all the things having been commanded you, say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have done that which we were bound to do.’”

¹² All have turned away; together they have become worthless; there is none who is practicing good, there is not so much as one.

¹¹ Luke alone is with me. Having taken Mark, bring him with you, for he is useful to me for the ministry.

¹⁰ who once were not a people, but now are the people of God; those not having received mercy, but now having received mercy.

¹⁴ For if you forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you. ¹⁵ But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

²¹ Then Peter having come, said to Him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I will forgive him? Up to seven times?” ²² Jesus says to him, “I say to you not up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven! ²³ Because of this, the kingdom of the heavens has become like to a man, a king, who desired to settle accounts with his servants. ²⁴ And he having begun to settle, one was brought to him, a debtor of ten thousand talents. ²⁵ And of him having nothing to pay, the master commanded him to be sold, and the wife and children, and everything that he had, and payment to be made. ²⁶ Therefore the servant, having fallen down, was bowing on his knees to him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay everything to you.’ ²⁷ And the master of that servant having been moved with compassion, released him and forgave him the debt. ²⁸ But the same servant having gone out, found one of his fellow servants who was owing him a hundred denarii, and having seized him, he was throttling him, saying, ‘Pay what you owe.’ ²⁹ Therefore his fellow servant having fallen down, was begging him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you.’ ³⁰ But he was not willing. Rather, having gone, he cast him into prison until he should pay what was owed. ³¹ Therefore his fellow servants having seen the things having taken place, were deeply grieved, and having gone, narrated to their master everything having taken place. ³² Then his master having called him, says to him, ‘Evil servant, I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. ³³ Did it not behoove you also to have pitied your fellow servant, as I also had pitied you?’ ³⁴ And having been angry, his master delivered him to the jailers, until that he should pay all being owed to him. ³⁵ Thus also My Heavenly Father will do to you, unless each of you forgives his brother from your heart.”

²⁵ And when you may stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive it, so that your Father in the heavens also might forgive you your trespasses.”

²⁰ And having risen up, he went to his father. And he still being far distant, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and having run, fell upon his neck and kissed him.

³² And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, as also in Christ God forgave you.

¹⁷ Now I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus, because these have filled up your deficiency.

⁷ Accordingly, it is right for me to feel this about all of you, since I have you in the heart. Both in my chains and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are fellow partakers of grace with me.

³⁰ because for the sake of the work of Christ he came near unto death, having disregarded his life so that he might fill up your deficit of service toward me.

¹ Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother, To Philemon, our beloved and fellow worker,

⁷ Who at any time serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat the fruit of it? Or who shepherds a flock and does not drink from the milk of the flock?

¹⁷ For if I do this willingly, I have a reward; but if unwillingly, I am entrusted with a stewardship.

²⁴ Not that we lord it over your faith, but are fellow workers with you of joy; for in the faith you stand firm.

¹² For if the readiness is present, it is acceptable as if he might have, not as he does not have.

⁵ Therefore I esteemed it necessary to exhort the brothers that they should go before unto you and should complete beforehand your foreannounced blessing, thus this to be ready as a blessing, and not as covetousness.

⁷ each as he purposes in the heart, not out of regret or of necessity. For God loves a cheerful giver.

⁸ Therefore, having much boldness in Christ to order you what is befitting, ⁹ rather, I exhort you for the sake of love, being such a one as Paul, now aged and also a prisoner of Christ Jesus.

² Shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion, but willingly according to God; and not for base gain but eagerly, ³ not as exercising lordship over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock.

²⁸ to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose had determined beforehand to happen.

⁸ But you shall not be called ‘Rabbi,’ for your Teacher is One, and you are all brothers.

¹⁷ And Ananias went away and entered into the house; and having laid the hands upon him, he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, the One having appeared to you on the road by which you were coming, has sent me that you may see again and be filled of the Holy Spirit.”

²² For the one having been called in the Lord while a slave is the Lord’s freedman; likewise the one having been called while free is a slave of Christ.

²⁸ Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise. ²⁹ But just as at that time the one having been born according to flesh was persecuting the one born according to Spirit, so also it is now.

⁵ Slaves, obey the earthly masters with fear and trembling, in sincerity of your heart as to Christ, ⁶ not with eye-service as men-pleasers, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, ⁷ rendering service with good will as to the Lord and not to men,

²² Slaves, obey the earthly masters in all things, not with eye-services as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord.

² Now those having believing masters, let them not despise them because they are brothers; but rather, let them serve them, because those being helped by the good service are believing and beloved. Teach and exhort these things.

¹ Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of the heavenly calling, carefully consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession,

²² Having purified your souls in obedience to the truth unto sincere brotherly love, love one another fervently, out of a pure heart, ²³ having been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, by the living and abiding word of God,

¹ Everyone believing that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone loving the One having begotten Him also loves the one having been begotten from Him.

⁴⁰ The One receiving you receives Me, and the one receiving Me receives the One having sent Me.

⁴⁸ And answering, He said to the one telling Him, “Who is My mother, and who are My brothers?” ⁴⁹ And having stretched out His hand to His disciples, He said, “Behold, My mother and My brothers. ⁵⁰ For whoever shall do the will of My Father who is in the heavens, he is My brother and sister and mother.”

⁵ And whoever shall receive one such little child in My name, receives Me.

⁴⁰ And the King answering, will say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did it to Me.’

¹⁵ And when she was baptized, and her house, she begged, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, having entered into my house, abide.” And she persuaded us.

²³ Whether as regards Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker for you; or our brothers, they are apostles of the churches, the glory of Christ.

⁶ that the Gentiles are joint-heirs, and a joint-body, and joint-partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus, through the gospel,

¹⁰ I exhort you for my child whom I have begotten in chains, Onesimus,

¹² whom I have sent back to you in person—he who is my very heart—

¹⁴ For we have become partakers of Christ, if indeed we should hold firm unto the end the assurance from the beginning.

⁵ Listen, my beloved brothers: Has not God chosen the poor in this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that He promised to those loving Him?

¹ I exhort the elders among you, a fellow elder and witness of the sufferings of Christ, who am also a partaker of the glory being about to be revealed:

³ that which we have seen and have heard, we proclaim to you also, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.

¹ Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are you not my work in the Lord? ² If I am not an apostle to others, yet at least I am to you; for you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.

²¹ The greeting is in my own hand—Paul. ²² If anyone does not love the Lord, let him be accursed. Maranatha!

² You are our letter, having been inscribed in our hearts, being known and being read by all men,

² Behold, I Paul say to you that if you shall become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing.

¹¹ See the large letters I have written to you with my own hand!

¹⁹ My brothers, if anyone among you might wander from the truth, and someone should bring him back, ²⁰ let him know that the one having brought back a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death, and will cover over a multitude of sins.

² For if I grieve you again, who is making me glad, except the one being grieved by me?

⁴ Great is my boldness toward you; great my boasting on behalf of you; I have been filled with encouragement; I overabound with joy upon all our affliction. ⁵ And indeed, of us having come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest; but we are being pressed in every way: conflicts on the outside, fears within. ⁶ But God, the One comforting the downcast, encouraged us by the coming of Titus, ⁷ and not only by his coming, but also by the comfort with which he was comforted as to you, relating to us your earnest desire, your mourning, your zeal for me, so as for me to rejoice the more.

⁸ For God is my witness how I long after you all in the affection of Christ Jesus.

¹ Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affections and compassions, ² fulfill my joy so that you may be of the same mind, having the same love, united in soul, minding the same thing,

¹ Therefore my brothers, beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, in this way stand firm in the Lord, beloved.

¹⁹ For who is our hope or joy or crown of boasting? Or are not even you, before our Lord Jesus at His coming? ²⁰ For you are our glory and joy.

⁷ because of this, brothers, we were encouraged as to you in all our distress and tribulation, through your faith. ⁸ For now we live, if you are standing firm in the Lord. ⁹ For what thanksgiving are we able to give to God concerning you in return for all the joy that we rejoice before our God because of you,

¹⁷ Obey you those leading and be submissive—for they watch over your souls, as about to give account—so that they may do this with joy and not groaning, for this is unprofitable for you.

¹⁷ Now whoever might have the world’s goods, and might see his brother having need, and might close up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

⁴ I have no greater joy than these things, that I should hear of my children walking in the truth.

³ And I wrote this same thing, so that having come, I might not have grief from those of whom it behooves me to rejoice, trusting in you all, that my joy is shared by all of you.

¹⁶ I rejoice that in everything I am confident in you.

²² Now we sent with them our brother, whom we have proven often in many things to be earnest, but now much more earnest by his confidence which is toward you.

¹⁰ I am confident as to you in the Lord that you will have no other mind. But the one troubling you will bear the judgment, whoever he might be.

⁴ And we are persuaded in the Lord as to you, that both you are doing and you will do the things that we command.

²³ Then having appointed him a day, many came to him to the lodging, to whom he expounded from morning to evening, fully testifying to the kingdom of God and persuading them concerning Jesus from both the Law of Moses and the Prophets.

²⁴ whenever I may go to Spain, I hope indeed, going through, to see you and to be equipped there by you, if first I should be filled of you in part.

³⁰ Now I exhort you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in the prayers for me to God, ³¹ so that I may be delivered from those refusing to be persuaded in Judea, and that my service in Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints, ³² so that having come to you in joy, by the will of God I may be refreshed with you.

¹¹ of you also joining together for us by supplication, so that thanks may be given for us by many persons for the grace bestowed toward us through many.

¹⁹ for I know that through your prayer and the provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, this will turn out for me to deliverance,

²⁵ And having been persuaded of this, I know that I will remain and will continue with all of you for your progress and joy of the faith, ²⁶ so that through my coming to you again your boasting in me may abound to Christ Jesus.

²⁴ And I am persuaded in the Lord that I myself will also come soon.

²³ You know our brother Timothy has been released, with whom I will see you if he should come sooner.

¹⁶ Therefore confess the sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man being made effective prevails much.

¹² Having many things to write to you, I purposed not with paper and ink, but I hope to come to you and to speak mouth to mouth, so that our joy may be having been completed.

¹⁴ but I hope to see you soon, and we will speak mouth to mouth. Peace to you. The friends greet you. Greet the friends by name.

⁷ Greet Andronicus and Junias, my kinsmen and my fellow prisoners, who are of note among the apostles, and who were in Christ before me.

⁷ just as you learned from Epaphras, our beloved fellow bond-servant, who is a faithful servant of Christ on behalf of us,

¹⁰ Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, greets you, and Mark, the cousin of Barnabas, concerning whom you have received instructions—if he comes to you, welcome him—

¹² Epaphras greets you, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, always struggling for you in the prayers, so that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God.

¹² And having considered it, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, who is called Mark, where there were many having gathered together and praying.

²⁵ And Barnabas and Saul returned, having fulfilled the mission to Jerusalem, having taken with them John the one having been called Mark.

¹³ And those around Paul, having sailed from Paphos, came to Perga of Pamphylia. But John, having departed from them, returned to Jerusalem.

³⁷ Now Barnabas purposed also to take along John, called Mark. ³⁸ But Paul thought fit not to take him along, the one having withdrawn from them from Pamphylia and not having gone with them to the work. ³⁹ Therefore a sharp disagreement arose, so that they separated from one another. And Barnabas having taken Mark, sailed to Cyprus.

²⁹ And the whole city was filled with confusion, and with one accord they rushed to the theatre, having dragged off Gaius and Aristarchus, Macedonians, fellow travelers of Paul.

² And having boarded a ship of Adramyttium being about to sail to the places along Asia, we set sail—Aristarchus, a Macedonian of Thessalonica, being with us.

¹⁴ Luke, the beloved physician, greets you, and also Demas.

¹⁰ for Demas has deserted me, having loved the present age, and he has gone to Thessalonica, Crescens to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia. ¹¹ Luke alone is with me. Having taken Mark, bring him with you, for he is useful to me for the ministry.

¹ Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother, To Philemon, our beloved and fellow worker, ² and to Apphia our sister, and to Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the church at your house:

⁸ Therefore we ought to receive such men, so that we may be fellow workers in the truth.

²⁰ And in a short time the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

²³ Gaius, the host of me and of all the church, greets you. Erastus, the steward of the city, greets you, and Quartus, the brother.

¹⁸ The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.

²² The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you all.
